That would be terrible, especially if it was Zoom - at least if it were Firestorm we could still get a relatively similar-looking Firestorm minifig in a random DC set, whereas with Zoom, he is pretty much exclusive to the CW show in terms of design. If we got a non-CW show "Zoom," he'd be the Reverse Flash and look like an entirely different character than fans of the show are accustomed to seeing.

Unfortunately it is possible that one of those could be exclusive figures, because as far as I know Funko is making Pop!Figures of Zoom and Firestorm this year, so they've probably been identified in the collectables market as figures people are wanting.

I'd just love to see an official CW Flash set. I really enjoy the STAR Labs Ideas set, so anything based around that kind of idea could be amazing.

Yeah, that Ideas set is cool, but it needs an increase of 20x the amount of supporters it has now. Hopefully an official set is made, kids are really starting to get into it, so it'd be a smart move.

Going to check my local Target and ToysRUs for the Gotham City Cycle Chase, because Brickseek says they're in the inventory.

I assume this means they're in the store, but may not be on the shelf?

Does batting eyelashes and saying please grant a chance to receive one from the back?

I think people have a great reason to fuss over dual-molded legs. Lego has always been able to have hands in minifigs different from the arms in color. It is only natural to extend these to feet. This allows for more convincing boots in figures (like the Batman with black boots, which I love), and the cast in the Clumsy Guy in series 15. Before, any attempt to do shorts on a figure would look incomplete on the back. Take Wonder Woman from 2012 as an example. The back of the legs look red with blue, which does not really make sense.

To each his own, but I think dual molded parts are one of the best innovations Lego has done on minifigs for a while.

Totally agreed. Some minifigs look fine with just leg printing (Green Lantern comes to mind) but others...not so much. Flash is begging for dual molded legs and little lightning prints on his arms. Just too much red as it is, IMO.

I know its probably not going to happen, but i would have much preferred a BvS Doomsday figure than the Killer Croc big-fig. Either that or have both, but a lack of the main villain from BvS is a bit disappointing in the Lego line-up.

It's in the March/April newsletter on the UK Lego website. "Free Mr Freeze minifigure with any Lego DC Comics Super Heroes purchase over £50". Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're not pulling another Helicarrier / Winter Soldier on us by making it exclusive to the '66 Batcave, but it sounds like a ploy to sell the new £55 Batwing.

Well damn, that is unfortunate for you guys. I really dislike when they restrict the qualifying purchases. Here in the US, there are no stipulations about what type of sets you buy, only the $75 threshold.

Now we're complaining about leg detailing even existing? I mean, I don't see how this new Mr. Freeze would even require any, since this is how this discussion even happened. Some characters like classic Superman might look nice with boots, but he looks just as fine without them. However, there are a lot of figures lately that would be better off with some sort of leg detailing, and we will get better versions eventually, just look at the figures of New 52 Batman, Spider-Man, and this year's Green Goblin.

(I know, how dare I mention Marvel here!)

Classic Superman DOES look great with dual-molded legs. He looks AMAZING. And fortunately, Spidey's dual-molded legs are $2.22 on Bricks and Pieces (USA), so I got them for Supes, Captain America, and Spider-man, as well as a pair of Batman's dual-molded legs to give to Ghost Rider, eventually. We'll see how that looks when the time comes.

For the record, Superman and Captain America both look better than Spider-Man does with Spidey's own legs, in my opinion. Not that Spidey looks bad, but standing next to the other two, I become more aware that Spidey's boots are supposed to have printing as well. I promise, that's not intended as a complaint, just a testament to how awesome the legs look on Supes, in particular. And, of course, I switched out the blue hips for red hips. My Superman wears his undies on the outside.

Totally agreed. Some minifigs look fine with just leg printing (Green Lantern comes to mind) but others...not so much. Flash is begging for dual molded legs and little lightning prints on his arms. Just too much red as it is, IMO.

I definitely agree about some dual-molded legs for Flash, but I would absolutely hate little lighting prints being added to him. I much prefer the clean, red look. Opinions!

I understand that lots of people want lots of different things, but I don't think anyone on either side is being too outrageous in voicing their opinions. Either way, TLG will keep on keepin' on.

I've tried calling two Targets but have gotten nowhere. I guess it's nice knowing that they will be available the day of release but there's just something so irritating about knowing that they are there so early but you can't buy them for over a week. I guess it does help with scalping. How unfortunate would it be if someone bought the entirety of new sets in one store in order to sell them online.

However knowing my local Walmarts do have the sets it's only a matter of time before they get on the shelf (assuming they ignore the street date) but also my Walmarts are terrible at putting things on the shelves even on release date.

I agree with you on everything you said, I was just saying that I can see some figures being acceptable without some form of leg printing while there are a lot that could really use it. I'm with you in that I want to get as much dual molding for my figures as I possibly can! Both classic and BvS Superman, classic Captain America, Spider-Man 2 Spider-Man, I even plan on getting two pairs of Batman's dual legs for the 2006 Arkham Security Guards!

I got what you were saying originally, and I was going to address that more than I did before I went on a tangent about Superman (hence the repost of your original comment). I think I actually agree with you more than my comment may have let on. Some figures sorely need that extra bit, some don't. And for some figs that DO have that extra something (dual-mold, printing, new faun legs), they look much better for it, while others don't gain a lot. (Again, IMO obviously. I'm the only person in the world, I think, that thinks the Silver Centurion Iron Man is too detailed, so what do I know? But that's mostly a preference for comic versions over movie versions) I definitely agree that the '66 Mr. Freeze looks just fine without printing, which wouldn't be appropriate, or dual-molded legs, which I don't find necessary for him.

Classic Superman, to gush again, absolutely deserves to have those dual-molded legs. He is easily 13* times better than he was before I swapped them out, and he now has a place in my heart as one of my favorite minifigures ever, which is fitting since he is one of my favorite characters ever. They should definitely release one like that at some point. We just got the movie version, so I'm sure we'll get the classic version sooner or later.

*Yes, this has been scientifically verified. I know a guy.

I totally agree. Superman deserves boots just like Batman- it would be so cool.

Also, I asked Just2good in his latest video- a Nexo Knights promo build- about if we would get Raven soon, and he said we would. "Super soon!" in fact is what he said. Isn't that exciting?

Totally agree! Flash needs his yellow boots to balance the figure out.

Yeah, this is a total bummer for me. I'm a big DC fan but I don't really tend to enjoy the over-abundance of vehicles in sets, nor the constant inclusion of Batman. I'm not really a big fan of Batman (although he's great in small doses), so it puts me off buying full DC sets whenever great chunks of the parts count are taken up by Batman builds and vehicles. I tend to just pick up the minifigs for that reason, so buying any of the DC sets out now would feel like a bit of a waste for me. I wish LEGO would release a full Justice League league set like the Watchtower, I would buy the hell out of that.

The only DC set out now that I'm mildly interested in is Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas simply because I love the Flash, but it doesn't feel worth it when most of the set is taken up with a Batman mech I would just throw right into my parts box. I do like Wonder Woman and her Invisible Jet because at least that is quite recognisable, but I'd rather save up and spend the money on Poe's X-Wing from Star Wars. Plus, if I want Captain Cold there's a pretty decent version of him in the Mighty Micros set.

So, doesn't look like I'm getting Mr. Freeze. :sceptic:

A watchtower will probably happen. We've had 3 huge Batman sets now, I'm sure either a Hall of Justice/Doom and/or The Watchtower will be coming soon.

TF Bricks on Instagram posted a pic of the Mighty Micros Flash with regular red legs. It looks pretty cool:

https://www.instagra...ken-by=tfbricks

That looks great! Can't wait for that set, I like that we'll have slightly different versions of the Flash suit, so we can totally have Barry Allen and Wally West in unique suits.

Captain Cold also looks great! I actually kind of prefer his face here to other version! I'm only just out of my my Dark Ages, what would be the best way to pick up those light blue legs for him?

Unsurprisingly, I am very excited by that news. I wonder is she comes in the Ra's set or one of the Dimensions sets. I'm pretty sure from J2g's last hint she'll be Go inspired which is fine by me.

As far as boots are concerned, I love the two molded legs and wish we'd see more of them. Superman, Cold, and Flash especially would look 100x better with them. I also like the idea of lighting printing for Flash's arms.

I want confirmation first, I'm not gonna get hyped for something for it lead into disappointment.

Also, anyone heard anything on the Visual Dictionary recently? I know Buccaneer Batman is probably what we're getting, but I haven't heard anything for a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if this year's SDCC exclusive is the Knightmare Batman from BvS. If we get somebody from the Flash, the most likely and least heartbreaking possibility I can think of is Captain Cold or Cisco, since we could get super similar variations on them in a set like we did with Green Arrow. I think whatever this year's exclusive is, though, it's going to be movie related. Either a BvS variant or a Suicide Squad character with their movie design, but probably Knightmare Batman.

I know its probably not going to happen, but i would have much preferred a BvS Doomsday figure than the Killer Croc big-fig. Either that or have both, but a lack of the main villain from BvS is a bit disappointing in the Lego line-up.

I don't think Doomsday is going to be the film's big-bad. Zack Snyder said that there's still some way huge stuff we haven't seen, plus Doomsday's in basically none of the merchandise. Doomsday is probably just going to be the subject of one good action sequence for the sake of setting him up for a solo Superman movie down the line. Lex is still our villain.

Also, I asked Just2good in his latest video- a Nexo Knights promo build- about if we would get Raven soon, and he said we would. "Super soon!" in fact is what he said. Isn't that exciting?

Hmm...where exactly could Raven pop up? If we see any more DC sets this year they're almost definitely going to BvS-based, we know what we're getting with the only upcoming Lego DC movie, he seems a tad too excited about it for it to be an SDCC exclusive, and those cube things don't come out until Christmas, which I wouldn't really consider "super soon". I suppose it could be a polybag or promo figure, or perhaps they've been making a new Lego Batman game and she'll be the pre-order bonus? Could he have info about the upcoming Lego Dimensions packs? How on Azarath are we going to get this figure??

Dimensions because there are teen titans go figures coming out in a pack

That was never confirmed though. TTG could be an acronym for any number of things (although Teen Titans Go is definitely the most likely.)

I'm expected a Knightmare Batman too, just becuase of SDCC 2013 where we got the black suit Superman from Man of Steel.

We still have the Ra's set which could include Raven, or the Dimensions packs which may or may not be TTG based.

With DPCI in hand, got my hands on the Gotham City Cycle Chase!

The first (And hopefully, not last) Lego Deadshot, my first Harley Quinn, and some cool bikes for $20.

So stoked.
