BaneShake Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 As a fan of "Elseworlds" stories, I'm a huge fan of the pirate Batman in the picture. If that's the figure in the book, I'm definitely getting it. I reeeeeally hope that cowl color is accurate; I've been dying for a light blue cowl since reading Batman: Gothic. I thought the juniors Batman was light blue like that, but it turned out it's a standard blue. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. Gotham City Cycle Chase and the Bat/Cat Micro were available in my local Walmart. Both are decent sets, the micro Catwoman's lack of breast printing isn't as obvious as I was afraid it would be. MicroBat looks best with gray legs that have black hips, a la Riddler Chase Batman. Sadly, the ColdFlash and the RobBane micros haven't been available anywhere locally, which are the ones I'm really wanting to get.
Deathstroke77 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 If you say bring on the variants, where's Knightfall? Blackest Night? Red Son? Batman Beyond? Why the hell are we getting that over these?!?!
Dylan van Hooren Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 My heart is pounding when I see these sets!
zipper778 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 If you say bring on the variants, where's Knightfall? Blackest Night? Red Son? Batman Beyond? Why the hell are we getting that over these?!?! X2!!! I would buy multiples, especially if there was a Knightfall variant.
BaneShake Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 If you say bring on the variants, where's Knightfall? Blackest Night? Red Son? Batman Beyond? Why the hell are we getting that over these?!?! Those would be great! Seeing as we got Plastic Man before we ever got Green Lantern, though, Lego doesn't seem necessarily concerned with how "big" a character is in the hierarchy.
NXS7 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 If you say bring on the variants, where's Knightfall? Blackest Night? Red Son? Batman Beyond? Why the hell are we getting that over these?!?! Electro Batman was ok, but pirate Batman?? I am fetching my sharpie, because I am drawing the line!!
RobbieHxC Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 where can you watch cosmic clash online? :)
Deathstroke77 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Hold up. If we are getting Raven soon, is there a possiblility she could be in the new Justice League vs Teen Titans movie? I know it isn't a LEGO film, but it'd make sense. Edited February 23, 2016 by AngelofVengeanceAzrael7

Neomars Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Hold up. If we are getting Raven soon, is there a possiblility she could be in the new Justice League vs Teen Titans movie? I know it isn't a LEGO film, but it'd make sense. This question has been asked multiple times here but I'm pretty sure the answer is no. There have been a lot of DC Animated movies too come out within the last couple of years (Batman Bad Blood recently came out and if you haven't you should check it out because it's amazing and my favorite of them all so far) but they've never released a LEGO figure with them before. Now I'm not saying it's impossible but the only movies we ever get minifigs in are branded LEGO DC (and other?) films and that one Hobbit movie. Because of that one release and J2G said we will be seeing her "very soon" I'll give it a 7.5% chance but it's more likely she will be released in a Dimensions pack with one of them having the name TTG being strongly hinted at being Teen Titans Go (away you awful follow up of a great cartoon. Like how the heck does this get 3 seasons but Young Justice only get 2 urgh.).

Robianco Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I actually really like that design and it's better than I thought it would be. Pirate Batman never really existed in the way we picture it thanks to the cover of Return of Bruce Wayne but this design works for me.
DarrellBricker Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) But who does not want a new Bats variant?! Yoo-hoo, here! Over here! Me! Me! With the whole giant stable of the DC Universe at LEGO's disposal, the very last thing we need is more Bat variants. In my humble opinion, of course. I know that people are going to jump down my throats for saying this, they're going to cry that Batman is *the* most popular DC Comics character and he sells toys and blah blah blah, but I emphatically don't care. I think he's overused, and overrated and I'd much prefer to see some other characters in brick form. Now, let the witch burning commence. I'm wearing my flame retardant undies. Ashnflash Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Ya I don't mind getting different Batmen but getting the same suit, having him in every set over and over again.......... Love that costume and can't wait! Also love the the Hazbat suit!
Amazing Bricks Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Honestly, the only bat suit that I can think of, that needs to be made, is a heat suit. Other than that, there's not much else they can do with Bats. Hope that means, no more Batman! But, I'm starting to expect remakes of all his previous suits.

Love that costume and can't wait! Also love the the Hazbat suit! Agreed. The black suit is probably the "Jack Sparrow" of this line, and the New 52 is starting to get that way too. Lego is obviously going to stick with him, since that's the best economic decision, so I prefer switching it up.
Actor Builder Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 We could have Tomato Batman. He looks like a tomato.
Legocity2713 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Batman with a proper skin tone yet the same face print as the New 52 would be a welcomed variation. (With a mount not as thick as the BvS armored one)

Nobody here is going to burn you on the stake, at least not yet. FIrst we have to try and drown you and if you don't drown then we'll burn you at the stake. There's a whole process to these things, we can't just burning anyone at the stake. Seriously though, I agree 100%. Save the Batman variants for that event in July that I'll be given a life sentence for mentioning and give us some of those lesser known characters in these promotional items instead of at that cursed event.
Im a brickmaster. Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 If you say bring on the variants, where's Knightfall? Blackest Night? Red Son? Batman Beyond? Why the hell are we getting that over these?!?! Oh dear God yes! That would the ideal, dream scenario. BUT, Untill then we will have to settle with Pirate Batman. Baby steps, baby steps. Besides wasn't he a pirate in The Return of Bruce Wayne? Wonderful comic by the way

Actually I don't wanna mention it... Too many horrible thoughts
Robert8 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) Ha! Pirate Batman? I wonder what's next... Maybe Farmer Batman (Batfarmer?) or Astronaut Batman (Batstronaut?) Heck at this point we should expect even Joker Batman Edited February 24, 2016 by Robert8
