Nsk97 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 The two face in that set looks nothing like Billy Dee Williams though, so for me it doesn't qualify. Billy Dee Williams didn't play two face, he only played Harvey Dent.
Hulk_Smash Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Which Mighty Micro do you guys think is the best? I'm considering getting Flash and Captain Cold because the pieces are nice and I don't have Flash yet. The rest don't really appeal to me as much. Thoughts? I wanna know for Marvel, too. Banes vehicle is pretty cool in hand, and Batmans face is awesome and really works for a BTAS version of him, but personally the marvel ones don't look that great (and I prefer marvel!)
CM4Sci Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 At Walmart, horrendous customer service. Brickseek said this store had Flash and Spider-Man, and Ninjago's Tiger Widow Island. Go there, they have Mighty Micros but only Batman, Hulk, and Robin. No Tiger Widow. They had the other Skybound sets! Just got those 3 and that's it. I hate Walmart.
Numbuh1Nerd Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Adam West, Christian Bale, and Batfleck are obvious, but which one is Michael Keaton? What about Val Kilmer? Lewis Wilson? Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer wear essentially the same suit, the black one we saw in the first wave of DC sets. I figured we'd all continue ignoring the Batman serials though, since they aren't feature-length films.
Legocity2713 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Are new sets available in Barnes and Noble now? I saw someone found some Star Wars ones on the internet but what about superheroes?
Cobb Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 The micro Flash and Cap. Cold work great with fullsize legs. They look good.

Batman for the face and B:TAS-style torso. Spider-Man for that hilarious face print. That's it for me!

I figured we'd all continue ignoring the Batman serials though, since they aren't feature-length films. What I'm saying is, it's obvious that: Batman in the 1960s batcave is Adam West. Batman in the UCS Tumbler is Christian Bale. Batman in the Batman v Superman sets is Ben Afleck. There is no such obvious one for Michael Keaton.
Cobb Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 That's because Lego was actually producing sets during TDK/TDKR and Batman vs. Superman (in the near future). 60's Batcave is a rare event. Lego didn't start making Batman lego untill 2003. The Keaton movies were in 1989 and 1992. Batman Forever en Batman & Robin 1996.

Being the bat-fan I am, I'll have to correct you: The first Batman set was in 2006, and Batman Forever was '95, and B&R was '97
rob-ot5000 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) What I'm saying is, it's obvious that: Batman in the 1960s batcave is Adam West. Batman in the UCS Tumbler is Christian Bale. '89 Batman is where that suit came from. Any other appearance (in any medium) that has that suit is borrowing it from the Keaton Batman. If you're saying there is no SET specifically based on Keaton's Batman, well, I can't comment on that. I know that I don't have one. The Two-Face set, as has been mentioned, is based on the B:TAS design. Is that what you're saying? Unrelated to that, I just got back from TRU, where I snagged the Gotham City Cycle Chase, so I guess I'll be talking about that in my next post! (For anyone interested, they also had plenty of Easter Chicken Suit Guys. TRU Buford, Georgia.) Edited February 28, 2016 by rob-ot5000
BlockLogo Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Is that what you're saying? Yes, that's all I'm saying.
CM4Sci Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 After today's 'incident' I decided just to order the sets online, and.. What the heck is this? Why $20?! It says it's supplied by Toywiz, why in the world are they charging so much? The reason I'm doing Walmart is becasue someone gave me a gift card there and I feel like using it.
Amazing Bricks Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) That's definitely a mistake, I wouldn't trust getting anything from there at the moment. Edited February 28, 2016 by amazingbricks
CM4Sci Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 That's definitely a mistake, I wouldn't trust getting anything from there at the moment. All of the Micros from there are the same price. The Ninjago set I want was $80 or $70 when it's actually $50.
Amazing Bricks Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 That's strange, those seem like Canadian or Australian prices. Still, I wouldn't make an order there.
Actor Builder Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I was at Walmart yesterday, and the prices seemed fine. I'd recommend going in person. Then you will not have to pay the egregious $7.95 shipping either.
legosamsonite Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 That's strange, those seem like Canadian or Australian prices. Still, I wouldn't make an order there. Thats a worse price then Canadian currency:(!!!
BlockLogo Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) That's just a seller on Walmart taking advantage of them not being officially out yet. Same happens on Amazon, with sets that are temporarily out of stock, charging $39.99 for Rey's speeder. Edited February 28, 2016 by BlockLogo
CM4Sci Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Oh, so if I wait for a few days the sets should be priced normally? I can do that.
namioik Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Oh, so if I wait for a few days the sets should be priced normally? I can do that. Walmart.com is almost trying to be like Amazon. When the item is not in stock online anymore they can fill orders in for other stores like ToyWiz who always sells at a higher price
Neomars Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Alright, will do. Thanks! Toywiz is awful. They over-charge by almost half retail price for any early release or sold-out product. Then for any other product on the shelves, they charge about $10 more than retail. I really don't understand how they are a business. But speaking of Walmart I called and surprisingly they had the Airport Battle on shelves but none of the others. Decided to check the another Walmart and they had the Cycle Chase on shelves but nothing else. There really isn't a system to them. Seems like a matter of picking the right set at the right location.
WyldstyleXdoop Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Has there been any news on the Ra's Al Ghual set or Raven?
