Batman gets new costumes all the time--so there's no indication it'll end up being used for a Lego minifigure.

Let's keep the focus on physical Lego discussion please--thanks!

So just got back from the slight what disappointing Batman V Superman, but I will state one thing.

TLG did an excellent job on the accuracy with the BvS sets and the real things in the movie. Good job.

The second comment is relevant to this thread but please do not share about how good or disappointing the movie was. That's on another thread

The new Lego Batman Movie trailer just dropped, with a Justice League almost completely identical to the one we have already except for the addition of a classic Green Arrow, the one with the Robin Hood get-up. Seems strange if you ask me. Maybe that's who's getting saved in the Ra's set? Or maybe he'll be in the movie sets? There's a lot of Batman stuff in there that seems very much made for the movie, like the Beyond suit on display, so maybe that's just another thing they did for the movie's sake.

In the trailer you can see the buccaneer batman costume opposite the beyond one, along with some great comedy ones like a mariachi style suit and a disco suit that I would love to see in a set. Also the new scarecrow minifigure is in the trailer along with what looks like a different version (?) of captain boomerang and a bigfig bane. No look at Alfred though which was a bit disappointing.

And it's more likely to Robin Hood style green arrow will be in the movie sets than the Ra's set.

The movie and trailer can be discussed in the Community forum's The Lego Batman Movie thread.

I know many are excited about this upcoming movie, as am I, and it's obvious that we will get set tie-ins late this year/early next year, but until that time (or until we get some actual set rumors with specifics), let's please not speculate about what we'll get from the movie here. Patience is a virtue people! Thanks.

So it's pretty obvious know that we will get a new belt piece that fits between the torso and the legs. Also Batman might have glow-in-the-dark eyes.

New Green Arrow Figure in the trailer! Also looks like Bane or Croc in the back!

It's bane with some sort or tube or collar around his neck.

Whew, been away for a while (awful job I just quit lol) and I am so excited for the 'classic' Nightwing, finding the old one is next to impossible now (and I don't think he looks as good as the newer ones) and even though I like my little growing New52 collection, I really want all the 'classic' characters more.

Kinda on that note - I used BvS Superman's hair on Nightwing (the red one) and IMO it looks way better than the spikey hair, fits him more, and will definitely be putting the hair on the blue Nightwing was well.

Speaking of hair - does anyone know of any hairpieces I could use for Plastic Man that aren't Superman's hair but still have that 'old-school' spitcurl kinda look? The Where Are My Pants Guy's hair is too big, and that was all I had that I thought might work.

The new superman hair would look great on him.

Well, I watched BvS today at midnight, and it was pretty cool. The sets released like someone else are fairly accurate, the Batwing set not being as accurate to the movie as the other two.

I'd say these are all very accurate...we have seen sets not based on anything in the related movie, so I'd say VERY good job on these sets

For an exclusive? Probably never.

Final images should be... in the next few weeks, months, I dunno.

Crap. Really looking forward to this one, just want to know what we're getting. I hope it's a Lazarus Pit kind of thing.

When we first see the Ra's set, it'll be final pictures. No preliminary pictures for this.

Also, this Lego BvS poster looks amazing:

Saw BvS last night and just WOW. It makes me really wish that we were getting a fourth set. It also makes me long for a more accurate Batman head, one with eyes and stubble. Also surprised to find out that the Batwing set isn't the Mandarin's Flaming Golf Cart I thought it'd be. No spoilers, but there is, in fact, a helicopter in this movie!

Mmm....it does indeed lol - but I really like that hair on Nightwing too - I've been trying to have different hairpieces (or better looking ones) on all my hero minifigs, and I especially don't like Tim Drake and Nightwing having the same hair - any other ideas for what hair I could use on Nightwing? I like the 'looser' look of the BvS Superman hair, but yeah, that piece does look really good on Plas lol

EDIT: Does the hair Freddy from the Scooby Doo line uses come in black, or is only the blonde variation for him?
