I agree, Jokerland Harley is a really nice figure, but I like the Squad version better, since she's more colorful and different and more accurate to the material. I want to get the Cycle Chase, but I just haven't gotten around to it.

The mighty Micros are far more fun and enjoyable than I was expecting. I think they make a great addition to the line and have amazing playability and applications (albeit with some minor adjustments and buying minifig legs on pick-a-brick) beyond just being the OTT kiddie style I was expecting.

Slightly off topic here and I hope no1 crucifies me for this but as a fan of the DC Micros can anyone recommend wether or not to get the Marvel ones? They don't look as good but I'm wondering if they will work well as a larger collection.

I went through the same thing, I didn't expect to like the Mighty Micros at all, but fell for them in person big time - and was totally with you on being 'meh' towards the Marvel ones, and still am - I don't think I'll collect them (except for maybe Spidey for the "crooked eye" look) but am really hopeful we get a few more waves of at least the DC Mighty's down the line - need to finish my Chibi Justice League!

I really like that Jokerland Harley - like you said, it's not comic accurate, but it fits Harley's 'look' so well that I really enjoy having it in my collection - the jester look is more 'classic', the Jokerland is a bit more 'modern', and the cycle version is New52 - works for me!

It actually is comic accurate, just less used than the classic or Squad versions. The big difference would be giving her black/red hair.

I'm sure everyone has seen the 66 Freeze fig by now. But if you haven't seen all the parts to him, I've got some pics up on flickr.

It is also very reminiscent of the Assault on Arkham Harley too.

It's mostly based on her New 52 solo series look, but with the hat she doesn't wear in the New 52. The pigtails hair probably wasn't available yet, thus the hat. Harley still has her hat (it can be seen on top of her moving haul in issue 1), but it's not part of her look in this continuity.

This is coincidental, I just re-watched Assault on Arkham lol. I haven't seen anyone discuss this, but what do you think Ra's and Talia will look like? Hoping for some Arkham City designs, but I feel BTAS looks might be favoured over that.

I would hope for BTAS or comic versions, if only for the possibility of Ras' green suit and cape. One thing I want to see is what hairpiece they'll give him, and I'm thinking wolverine, sinestro, or the doctor.

i wanna see something that isn't overdesigned, something classic that fits with the lego aesthetic they've had so far. It'll probably be a mix of BTAS and classic Neal Adams

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. Fingers crossed...

I'd also be okay with the Arkham City armor-design for Ra's. As for Talia, my only hope is they do a decent job differentiating her usual black leather suit from Catwoman's.

I think Talia will have a more black widow style leather suit than a Catwoman style one or they could go a completely different direction as she has worn all sorts of different outfits in the comics and other media.

I like the Jokerland and Cycle Chase Harley's but it's just I have such a soft spot for the original costume from BTAS that I think I will have to buy the Dimensions pack even though I don't have game.

The "Mad Love" episode and comic is just pure Harley Quinn for me. Don't get me wrong I like having the other versions as they look fantastic in minfig form. My only gripe is that we don't have a hairpiece with red and black printing to complete the Jokerland New 52 fig look.

Depending on response to the movie alla BvS I might consider getting the killer Croc set later in the year to get a Suicide Squad line up.

I completely agree - I love the original one. It's much easier to get her through the DImensions pack too. That wasn't about when I was trying to pick the minifig up :(

Supposedly we are going to see her in some physical form or another sometime this year, but so we haven't heard when, where, or how.

Sincerely,

This forums Raven fanatic

I'm willing to bet we'll be getting her in Teen Titans themed LEGO Dimensions sets, since that has been rumored for awhile and there's been little evidence of her appearing in the mainline DC sets.

Since we've already gotten all the other main TV Titans, all of whom were designed after the show (save Cyborg), it would make sense for her to follow suit in Dimensions. I would've guessed she and Cyborg might get a dual pack where they're both designed like the show, but I doubt they'd do a variant figure for a character already in Dimensions. Of course, there could still be Beast Boy, Starfire, or Robin anywhere in the line, since they aren't in the game yet, or even a brand new character, like Terra. I guess this depends on what amount of Titans stuff they decide to include.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Robin, Beast Boy and Starfire from the Jokerland set, even though they LOOK like their iterations on Teen Titans Go! are still comic appearances. I know Robin and Beast Boy definitely have the looks they had when Tim Drake first joined the Teen Titans in the comics, and Starfire's costume is always kinda changing so I think it's more a 'classic' look for her than specifically the cartoon, y'know? I wouldn't be too hopeful for a TTG! style Cyborg, but Raven's look may be TTG!-ish just because her 'classic' look in comics kinda looks like that.

I imagine she'll look like this;

All that aside, though - I'd loooooooove a Teen Titans Go! inspired Cyborg, that blue look for his lights/censors is one of my favorites.

Not exactly. Comics-wise, Beast Boy's purple outfit came from his days with the Doom Patrol, while he wore a red and white costume while on the Titans (a la Young Justice season 2), Starfire is almost always way more scantily-clad, and the cartoon Robin is Dick Grayson, with the Lego portrayals in Jokerland reflecting the show over the comics. Raven's show costume, however, is very similar to her standard costume; the only one I can think of that was different was a white version when she first broke away from Trigon altogether, but that would be highly unlikely to show up.

Beast Boy is based on his comic book appearance after it was changed from his traditional red and white appearance in response to the change in his costume on the original Teen Titans show. It's really not all that noticeable, but the comic Beast boy has purple undies like the minifigure instead of purple shorts. Plus, the comic one and minifigure both have green hands while the cartoon one has grey gloves.

Starfire and Robin are both based completely on their Teen Titans Go looks.

But then the all important question is, oh most trustworthy Raven disciple, psqidexslizer248: what version of Raven are we likely to get in your opinion? TTG!? And has that been in any games that would give us a hint?

Posted

Geez, could we stop talking about Raven, haha every 3 pages someone asks.

I second this.

No more Raven talk.

I don't know how to be more clear about that. It's nothing but unsubstantiated wishes and rumors that fill this thread with pages of off topic discussion. Regardless, the rumors claim she would be released with Lego Dimensions, and that discussion does not belong here anyways. This thread is for 2016 DC set discussion, not 2016 wishes and wants.
