Is the Green Latern vs Sinestro set worth having? I'm a big fan of Green Lantern, and think it would be cool to have a Lego version.

Since you're a GL fan, and even if you weren't, I'd say it's worth getting. The jet is a pretty good build and the figures are also great.

I'd say get it while it's still there! This GL figure will be one expensive one if that retires. Even if there's eventually another one to come, this is one great minifigure!

I think Space Bats might be one that'll sell for a lot, considering that'll likely be his only appearance. Sinestro will likely sell high as well.

The thread is titled rumours; she's a DC superhero, yet somehow rumours of her appearance, Dimensions or otherwise, don't fit the topic?

First I will note that I don't particularly care for the title of this thread, and I've mulled over changing it many times; its vagueness gives the assumption that one can talk about anything.

That is not the case--reason being this thread is dedicated towards the 2016 DC Sets only. Not non-minifigure character discussion, not wishlists, not Dimensions talk. Rumors itself is a term used too widely as well, which causes these problems. A rumor needs a source to be a rumor. Anyways, all of that can, is, and does take place in other threads across the Licensed forum and Eurobricks as a whole.

The indication to me that a thread is out of hand is when every couple of posts is a question asked about what's happened, what set is coming, what did I miss (incidentally all of that info is always on the first page :thumbup: ). The Superhero threads are constantly thrown into chaos by off topic conversation--reigning that in is the only way to restore order and prevent them from becoming unreadable mazes.

But enough of this discussion, this thread is for the 2016 DC sets, period. Nothing more, nothing less. Otherwise I'll have to call bad cop O'Cloney here to rain down hellfire on everyone. And we don't want that! :tongue:

Who's actually going to buy the summer sets? Or do you guys plan on bricklinking the minifigures?

I feel like I want the Battank, but not really the Dentures of Doom. Also I NEEEED Blue Beetle and Killer Moth

I'll be getting the Bat-Tank set very quickly. The Scarecrow set seems pretty meh to me, not even the figs are particularly interesting IMO. The Ra's set sounds very promising at the moment, but I'd like to know what the build/s are. If it is indeed £40 and the builds are bad, then it'll kind of be £40 for figs, which isn't really worth it.

Yep! I'll pick up all of the sets for the figs as a must. Come builds I might keep (I do kind of like that tractor hahaha) but the likes of bat tank, batcopter etc I'll most likely sell on after. Might keep ol' Scarecrow's vehicle if I like it in person though! If the Ra's set has a lazarus pit in I'll most likely keep the entire build.

That reminds me... I have Bats & Harleys bike to get shifted.. along with a Quinjet and airport bit!

Just a thought, since this thread goes off track after every 3 pages or so maybe we should create a new thread dedicated to rumours/speculation about the upcoming Super Heroes sets and then when we have solid facts about the upcoming sets we can move to this thread. That way this thread will be a lot less cluttered and we can still have a thread were we can speculate based on rumours etc. just my two cents.

Let's not do a rumour and speculation thread to then feed a fact and discussion thread. This basically should be the fact and discussion thread anyway. We have enough good sources here to base discussion on which then gets official confirmation to be true or occasionally not.

I want to get all three of the summer sets eventually. However, if we get more info on the LEGO Batman Movie sets before these ones come out then my interest might shift over to those.

I'll probably pick up the big sets at the same time, since deciding which to get first will be hard. Adversary Alligator's set has the better figures by a smidge, but Spooky Farm is the better build by a smidge.

Probably, though, Ra's will actually come first.

I don't know how to be more clear about that. It's nothing but unsubstantiated wishes and rumors that fill this thread with pages of off topic discussion. Regardless, the rumors claim she would be released with Lego Dimensions, and that discussion does not belong here anyways. This thread is for 2016 DC set discussion, not 2016 wishes and wants.

Im so confused the dicussion says rumors and i believe just2good said something about this and you guys are saying we cant talk about it, im so confused can somebody elaborate on this thanks.

It's coming out but no one knows when or where nor do we have an idea how it looks like. What's there to talk about then if it's just speculation? Best not to say anything until we get further news. No need to clutter the forum
