Is the '66 Batcave the first time we've seen Thomas and Martha Wayne depicted in an actual set?

Yes, it is also the first set to include a part of Wayne Manor.

I'd love to see Thomas and Martha Wayne minifigures but the only set I could imagine them in would be of their shooting, which probably isn't a great choice for a Lego set

Or maybe a 3D frame in the LEGO Batman Movie sets

Naw, that would be great! A $10 set, Martha and Thomas have alternate "dead" faces, kid Bruce has a "crying" alternate face, and the play features could be a stud-shooter and a super-jumper for Joe Chill to jump out and ambush them! I see absolutely no problems with this at all!!!

Or an alternative could be their Flashpoint versions, although I don't think that's any better when its Bruce that gets shot..

Well LEGO did make a set from the Clone Wars scene where Nahdar Vebb gets slaughtered by General Grevious, so.....

If LEGO does make the ma and pa Wayne murder scene, I hope they include a little word bubble with the name Martha and lots (and I mean LOTS) of a new pearl piece. I don't care if it's oversized, we need the pearls!!

Really though this discussion does not belong here since there are exactly zero rumors about the Waynes being in any set.

I'm getting that figure for the head to update the 2006 version I have. I still don't like the New 52 symbol, even in blue, and that hair piece doesn't work for me either.

I prefer the new blue over the other two. For that matter, I even (prepare to gasp) prefer the New 52 red to the original (gasp here). The original just feels... dated to me, and the hair was never quite to my liking. I've been hoping for the blue recolored version of the red one for quite some time now, but I never expected it to actually happen.

Nightwing's old blue costume changed enough that the recolored New52 look works for me

That's a cracking fig. Only snag for me is the hair piece, never have been a fan of it.

I enjoyed the new Superman hairpiece from BvS on Nightwing (although now I put it on Tim Drake so that Nightwing looks 'taller' with the spikey hair) but yeah if the hair is a sticking point for you, I'd definitely recommend the new Supes hair for him - I think it really works for Grayson.

I understand! If I didn't have the original, this figure would definitely be at the top of my list. And it does look pretty dated, hence why I'm updating it to the newer face (also because the older head I have is fading...) I just prefer the simpler symbol even if it has an older muscle design. As for the hair, I still use the spiky "anime" piece but Anakin's hair in black is probably the best option. My first comment probably came off much more negative than I intended, it's still a great figure in my opinion!

Will the Ra's Al Ghual set include a lazarus pit?

As of now, we don't know what the set consists of besides the minifigures. It's a bit early to tell right now.

I was looking at the new superman's hair piece, and it's better, but it just doesn't work for me. Mr. Incredible's hair piece in black would look so much better. I hope they make it in black one day.

Sounds like Arrow. Every time someone is placed in the pit, they FLY out of it alive

Really? Robin's captured again? Can they not think of like anything else for him to do?

Well, there's a reason that Two-Face referred to him as "Robin, the Boy Hostage" in Dark Knight Returns.

With said knowledge of the "launching" Lazarus pit could it possibly be Jason Todd Robin (Red Hood) or has it been absolutely confirmed to be Damian. Because they could go to that aspect of the DC comic universe

Don't believe we've had a Jason Todd Robin yet. But Just2Good confirmed Damian I believe
