psqidexslizer248 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 I will never get the designs of the Croc set...Those vehicles are so bad I'm with you there, but at least the figu...... Captain Boomerang looks fantastic.
Deathstroke77 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 The Bat-Tank is awesome, will give some Dark Knight Returns scene making to do, and that Red Hood cycle is cool, but the Dentures of Doom are just... odd. They should've ditched that and maybe created a little sewer area or something for Croc instead, and a rocky vantage point for Boomer.
NXS7 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Still confused on the lack of sewer in 76055 Batman: Killer Croc SEWER Smash
Zergos Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) Gah I want that capn boomerang so badly! Can it be august already please? No? Dangitt. Edited April 19, 2016 by Zergos
Amazing Bricks Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Still confused on the lack of sewer in 76055 Batman: Killer Croc SEWER Smash I know, it's more like Street Smash. I actually like the killer croc set. However, was captain boomerang's side slot necessary? That looks bad, but I'm fine with everything else.
Legocity2713 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) The best build of the Sewer set is the molded motorcycle. Some good figures though, excluding the big fig which is absolute trash. Loving that Red Hood, Katana is decent, always love that Batman, and Captain Boomerang has some great weapons that could be used for the Marvel villain/ripoff Boomerang. The Scarecrow set is way better than Sewer set but yet is still only 'okay.' Scarecrow is good (liked the old one more), Batman looks pretty nice, the farmer is funny, Killer Moth, although a "filler" villain in my eyes, is really well made, and Blue Beetle is my favorite figure of the set. Surprisingly really REALLY well done! I can't stress that enough. The civilian tractor is my favorite of the builds but that helicopter with the blue color is refreshing and the Combine is cool. BaneShake Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Some good figures though, excluding the big fig which is absolute trash. Aw no!!! I love the Croc!!! Tell ya what, you don't want 'im, you can always send me yours!

That looks bad, but I'm fine with everything else. You're totally right. They should have specified that it was a Sewer Smash OUT. I would have liked a set on kind with the Marvel Spidey bridge set, more location-, less vehicle-based. But I like the Bat-tank. Just won't even bother building the Dentures of Doom.
LegoPercyJ Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 It's nice to see our banana driver pursuing other careers
CM4Sci Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 After a tragic accident while driving a banana cart in Gotham City, he decided to move to the countryside for peace, quiet, and less giant gorillas. Even then, he could not escape Gotham's monsters.
Amazing Bricks Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I'm curious about batman's head in the scarecrow set. It's probably going to look like space and scuba Batman's head. This is definitely one of my favorite variants of Batman.

Even though I would prefer the big fig from LB3, I'm still getting this one because he reminds me of the Arkham games, even if he's based on his New 52 appearance (I think). raarghh Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Im not into super heroes that much but that harvester looks like a must-buy!

Local Knowledge Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Correct. He only appeared in the Joker Steamroller set. Mostly we've gotten Tim Drake variants, with Dick Grayson in Batboat, Jokerland, and possibly the juniors and micros sets (although these last two could debatably be Tim as well). No, Dick Grayson is in: 1966 Batcave, Batboat, Junior Batcave set and the Micro set Tim Drake is in: Batcave, Arkham Asylum, Black Manta set, Funland and his polybag. While, the confusing part here is, that it's unknown which Robin is in Jokerland. Is it Grayson? Or is it Drake? Well the design from Jokerland is used in LEGO Dimensions, but there it was confirmed to be Tim Drake I believe. Also the makers of LEGO Gotham City Breakout, have confirmed that the Robin used there, is in fact, Tim Drake as well. I know that sounds confusing, because they use the Damian figure, but oh well.

Captain Britain Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Its Teen Titans Go! so Dick Grayson Yep - defo Dick Grayson. http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Robin_(Dick_Grayson)
sander1992 Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Thank you for the pictures, Just2Good. I must say that the Killer Croc set is a bit odd. I had hoped for a scene in the sewer. I guess I have to built it around the set myself. It is nice to see it al summarized. Now we need a Stephanie Brown variant.
BaneShake Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Gah! I forgot all about 1960's Dick! Now we need a Stephanie Brown variant. DC barely likes to acknowledge that she was Robin, so I'll consider it lucky if she even gets to appear in-set as Spoiler.
BlockLogo Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Getting far off topic, but what about Carrie Kelley? Or is The Dark Knight Returns considered too non-canonical for that to even be considered?
Clone OPatra Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Yep, too far off topic. Take any further Robin talk to the general DC speculation thread please.
Only Sinner Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Yep back on topic, the Scarecrow set is very well done. I like all the builds and the minifigs are SOO sweet! The poor "sewer" set however looks mostly meh, even with the big Battank. I really like the figs there too, though. I have to get those soon!
blackknightrises Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I could honestly care less about which version of Robin we get. (I would have preferred a different character entirely but that is a moot point) I am just happy that we are finally getting a Ra's and Talia minifigure.
Duncan Young Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 They definitely look better now. Killer Moth is near perfect beside the orange head (white would be preferable). Can't wait to get my hands on these!
