It's not a good enough match. Harley's DCSHG hair has widow's-peak bangs to mirror her hat, while the LEGO Batman Movie Harley has straight-cut bangs and frizzy pigtails. And Ivy's hair doesn't look like the show much, either. It's possible, but I don't think those are the pieces we'd see for the Girls sets.

Straight bangs are way closer than the no bangs the current piece has. You're right though, it's not a match, but it's at least closer than the currently used pieces which bare little to no resemblance. But I also tend to think those hairpieces will be exclusive to those movie sets.

For the DCSHG sets I expect rubber hairpieces (Like the Friends stuff), if only to add more accessories.

I agree. I think TLBM is just designed to be stylized and unique from the normal line as an incentive to buy its sets too. Is it possible the DC Girls line got canned with Lego? If not, that's three distinct themes based on DC properties next year.

I could see The Lego Batman Movie being our main wave for the DC Comics line next year rather than its own seperate line like TLM.

One of the discussions, I believe over in the Lego Batman Movie thread, is that they are distinct lines, and that the DC wave will be non-Batman characters. I'd actually need someone to confirm that, though, and it isn't 2016 related, so you may want to look into that on the other thread.

So more JL stuff next year? I'm down for that if that's true. Anyway, back on topic.

Yeah, I think the Batman movie will have its own branding like the Lego movie and we will get more normal sets next year. I may be wrong though.

I think it would make sense to have only batman-movie and justice league-movie sets. the lego batman movie sets essentially will be normal batman sets branded differently.

Lets at least hope they do make JL movie sets...

Looks good! God, I love that minifigure. One of my favorites, with and without armor.

With the helmet, glow-in-the-dark head, the great armor piece, and incredibly detailed print, Armored Batman is a very impressive figure. But with all the insane detail put into its torso print, I just wish it accurately represented the suit from the movie (a la Silver Centurion), or barring that, I wish it was at least generic enough to be used outside Batman.

I'm alright with the character specifics. When I need a generic power-armored look, I tend to go for torsos from the Space line.

Not that it is on-topic, but cape madness over on brick link makes a dark gray bat cape that looks good on the armored batman without the armor piece, incase you (like myself), do not like the way the single stud bends.

My cape lays flat against the back, it's connect with 2 round stud pieces against the legs.

There's a bit too much off topic conversation going on around here, what with custom bat-signals and non-official parts discussion. Let's focus more on the sets perhaps? Thanks!

Incidentally, I've had to edit a number of posts in this thread over the past few days for this, so to reiterate: please don't quote pictures. Aside from being against the standard here at Eurobricks, it's also literally my biggest pet peeve. If you quote the words, it can be assumed you are also talking about the picture. We don't need to see the same picture multiple times on the same page. Thanks!

 Lego really needs to start thinking about the messages they're sending to young children.

Hey at least Scarecrow doesn't have a moustache or anything

And why don't you show your Hall of Justice in its own topic, talk a about it and then politely ask if EB members could support it, instead of spamming the link everywhere?
