TheBrickBuilder14 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 The pants are from Kanan Jarrus (Star Wars Rebels)
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I like everything about that set, other than Robin's cape. I don't like that cape, it has too many points on it for me. Just a nitpick, but it, for me, severely detracts from the figure. Oh, wow, I didn't even notice how many points it had until you mentioned it! I'm not bothered by it, though. It's actually a bit more accurate that way.
Captain Britain Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Doh! Thought I'd finished my Lego spending for this month but ended up ordering the Scarecrow set and the Ra's set.. although my other half has paid for the Ra's set and will be put aside for my birthday. Chipping away at these new sets... love them all!

LegoCityNut Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Picked up My Ra's set from Argos yesterday. Not gotten around to building it yet, but it looks like it'd make a fantastic addition to a display with the Killer Croc and Scarecrow based sets. And though 257 parts for £35 doesn't look like fantastic value, the fact it has quite a few bigger parts seems to more then make up for that. (And Ra's a nd Talia figures are fantastic to add a couple more of the primary villains.)

Captain Britain Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Oh? It's an Argos exclusive? Thanks for the heads up! Argos need to update their website! Got to wait until August to get this even though it'll be in hand! Maybe I'll sneak it out early .
LegoCityNut Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 The catalogue number is: 533/4980, if anyone wants it.
Deathstroke77 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I assume that's in store only, as it isn't on their website.
AnnaBuildsLego Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Finally bought the Flash/Captain Cold Mighty Micro set, absolutely in love with the thing! Great cheap minifigs, and I got it for €9 which is a bit of a steal seeing as it's usually priced around €12! Swapped out the small legs to make a Wally West to team up with my Barry Allen. Now, if only Lego would make a Kid Flash minifig so I could have a younger Wally too! I hope they continue the Mighty Micros series soon. a Mighty Micro-ized Green Lantern could be great. Next stop - the new Juniors set. Anybody here have it and would recommend it? I need to save up so that I can somehow afford it and some of the new DC Rebirth comics, so I have a dilemma on my hands.

How important would you say things like food and shelter are?
AnnaBuildsLego Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 How important would you say things like food and shelter are? Sadly expendable when it comes to the pursuit of Lego and comics... Oh God, am I too far gone?
Duncan Young Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 How important would you say things like food and shelter are? Yay! You fixed your profile pic!
BaneShake Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 a Mighty Micro-ized Green Lantern could be great. I welcome any and all variants of GL. I'd love to make a varied Lantern Corps, and in every depiction, they always have unique costume styles!
Amazing Bricks Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 It looks like we are getting more mighty micros after all... I don't know what to think about that.
Nsk97 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Sadly expendable when it comes to the pursuit of Lego and comics... Oh God, am I too far gone? Hahaha I am exactly the same rebirth has been great so far!
Deathstroke77 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I made a nice John Stewart GL fig using the 2015 legs and torso, then used War Machine's head and also put Bruce Wayne's hair (2012) on him. Looked great.
BaneShake Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 It looks like we are getting more mighty micros after all... I don't know what to think about that. I'm okay with it, so long as it's similar to the decent DC figures as compared to the lackluster Marvel figures. Just looking at Hulk makes me irrationally grumpy.

Just looking at Hulk makes me irrationally grumpy. In my opinion, only Ultron was decent enough to be given actual legs. Spider-Man's head looks useful but other than that I agree.
Doctor What Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but is it known when some of last year's sets are retiring? Specifically the Grodd set and the Jokerland? The Lego store site has confused me a bit, as it labels the Grodd set as "new" just like the actually new sets, whereas Jokerland and the Batboat are not labelled as new. Just wondering as these are the two oldest DC sets that i need so i am wondering which to pick up first.
Deathstroke77 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Pick them both up before January 1st and you should be fine. As Jokerland was a Summer set last year, I don't know whether it and the Batboat set will retire with the Winter Wave of last lear or whether they'll retire next summer. BUt pick them both up before January 1st and you'll be fine.

Is it always at the end of a year?
