Duncan Young Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Picked up Rescue from Ra's from Argos-really Nice set!
Deathstroke77 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 (edited) I might get it if it goes on sale, Argos often runs them. I'm not too keen on paying £35 for a set that has less than 300 pieces. Edited June 4, 2016 by AngelofVengeanceAzrael7
Duncan Young Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Duncan, is it an in-store exclusive? Can't seem to find it on thier website. Not sure,n o evidence had been given to suggest that, may just be that the website hasn't been updated yet :)

AnnaBuildsLego Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I welcome any and all variants of GL. I'd love to make a varied Lantern Corps, and in every depiction, they always have unique costume styles! Yes, true! All the GL variants, please! Hahaha I am exactly the same rebirth has been great so far! It really has, it's made my want for a Kid Flash Wally minifigure even stronger! Glad to meet someone else with the same Lego vs comic books struggle, it's too real. It looks like we are getting more mighty micros after all... I don't know what to think about that. What makes you think that they're for sure continuing? I'd be really happy if that's the case - I've only gotten one Mighty Micros set (The Flash vs Captain Cold one) and I love it. I'd definitely welcome any more coming out - do you think a second wave would hit at some time this year, or would it have to be next year? I do wonder what future DC Mighty Micros could be - Superman vs Lex Luthor strikes me as the obvious one, but considering the new Juniors set Lego may not want to make that. I imagine a similar situation regarding a Green Lantern vs Sinestro one, considering we already have a set available with that premise. This is veering into 'Future DC Wishlist' however, so I'm gonna steer back on topic.

Back on topic though have we had any clues as to what the dreaded con exclusive(s) could be?

NXS7 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Amazing bricks suggested a Rebirth figure but Sci and Banjo may have debunked that Would make sense though. We had Sam Wilson Cap last year to tie into Secret Wars
Deathstroke77 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 (edited) Hope it's a Rebirth figure, would be an easy miss this year. Edited June 4, 2016 by AngelofVengeanceAzrael7
psqidexslizer248 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Back on topic though have we had any clues as to what the dreaded con exclusive(s) could be? I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure it'll just be some highly desirable character who won't be appearing in any sets any time soon.

Amazing Bricks Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 It could be Knightmare Batman or BvS Aquaman Nah
legosamsonite Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 It could be any dceu minifigs, specifically squad based joker! This is where Amazing Bricks says nah ;)

NXS7 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 (edited) We should just make a thread for a SDCC guessing game with amazingbricks Edited June 5, 2016 by Quicksilver838
BaneShake Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 It could be Knightmare Batman or BvS Aquaman I doubt they'd do Aquaman, since we're very likely to get him in Justice League sets next year. Knightmare Batman would make more sense, as that would be the last potential time to release it while it's remotely topical.
Amazing Bricks Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 We should just make a thread for a SDCC guessing game with amazingbricks I can totally make one right now :) In fact, I'm on that right now...
BaneShake Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I'm so jealous of you non-USers and your early access to these sets. I'm moving at the end if the month, so I guess it's a good thing... Still jealous though! I want that Croc bigfig!
LegoCityNut Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 The U.S. get the Winter Wave before us. Fair is fair. :p
Deathstroke77 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 (edited) It wasn't really fair, as we could buy the BvS sets on S@H from January, they just weren't in other stores. So actualy America drew the short end of the stick this year. Edited June 5, 2016 by AngelofVengeanceAzrael7
NXS7 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I find this funny; as a UK liver, it took me 3 months to get the BvS Batmobile, while I just had to lie on my bed and watch J2G or Brick Show do reviews on it. Now if I wanted I could go to my neighbour town and buy the Harvester, whilst other countries have to wait the 3 months now. It's kind of poetic irony
linnormlord Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Fairness aside, any idea WHY lego staggers worldwide releases this way? I'm trying to figure out how this makes sense from a business perspective.
