Just a side note, does anyone think Raven will have the pieces that Scarlet Witch had as accessories. The blue lightning-like pieces?

They say you can't have too much of a good thing. Turns out, you can.

Here's my guesses.

Batcave will include a Batcave area, classic Batmobile, and every Batman'66 minifigure who was in LB3.

Just2Good implied that it the second D2C Nostalgia set is not only not DC, but not super heroes, which rules out Marvel. Now I know this is a DC rumors thread but I'm going to touch on that anyway: either it will be a licensed set or some kind of flashback Lego set (like a yellow castle or something) but I'm willing to bet it's licensed. Here's a quick look at the current and upcoming licensed themes that have been around long enough to be considered nostalgia, excluding super heroes: Doctor Who, Scooby Doo, Wizard of Oz, Simpsons, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters. Many of those are only in Dimensions or Ideas thus far. Doctor Who doesn't have any big and recognizable nostalgia pieces. Scooby Doo could have a mansion but they just got a mystery mansion set, and we just had a haunted house a few years ago (much as I'd love another one). Wizard of Oz could get an Emerald City set but we have no idea if the theme will go beyond Dimensions or not. I hope to glob it's not another giant Simpsons set but that seems relatively likely given we've gotten one every year so far. BTTF and Ghostbusters each have possibilities like Stay Puft, the Firehouse, and the Clock Tower, but we don't know if either of those are going to a full theme, either.

Wait! I've thought of some others :)

We could get an amazing Jurassic Park set with the gates and the car. Or, there's always Star Wars, but I don't know how any new D2C set would be any more nostalgiac than any other.

My speculation is the other "Nostalgia" D2C will be a large Classic Space type set. Remember the delay in getting thing to market, but there was and remains a huge interest in CS since the Lego Movie and Benny. Castle and Pirates have had moderately recent D2C's Space never. It could also be a Western Town to burn off some LR parts.

Pretty sure the nostalgia will be a licensed theme... And since he called the 1966 nostalgic it will be something that people have grown up with. (Wizard of Oz, BTTF, or Ghostbusters) I don't think it will be a regular, classic LEGO theme

I'm thinking the disk pieces Starfie had in Black would be better.

Boy can you ever.

79% of those were probably mine.

I'm leaning towards Wizard of Oz: the Emeral City. Reasons being that Ghostbusters and BTTF are classic, but not as nostalgic as the '66 Batcave. They're both from 1984-85. Also, it didn't make sense for Lego to release the Wicked Witch in Dimensions over Dorothy. Scarecrow, Tin Man, or the Cowardly Lion. Plus, BTTF and Ghostbusters have both already gotten an Ideas set and multiple Dimesnions packs covering all the major characters. Plus, their sets must be something kids will most likely recognize.

I think that this is what we should see in the dc sets minifigure wize

66 batcave: 66 Batman 66 Robin 66 Catwoman 66 Alfred 66 Batgirl 66 Riddler and 66 Joker

Gotham city cycle set: Batman, Harley Quinn ( Task force X version ) Deadshot Captain boomarang OR Killer croc is some way

BVS 1: Batman ( Armor ) Superman

BVS 2 AKA Batmobile set: Batman, A Thug and Lex luthor

BVS 3: Superman, Wonder Woman, ( Maybe Doomsday ) Superman army guy, Batman ( Maybe )

Racer 1: Batman and some task force X member

Racer 2: Robin and Raven

Racer 3: LETO`S JOKER!

Remember this is just what i want to see, not whats real

Ya I agree that would make more sense since we haven't had any news about Wizard of Oz... Here I made this thread so that we stop cluttering the DC page with other theme stuff!

It feels like we're veering a little off topic here. We have a Dimensions discussion somewhere else (give me a minute, I'll look for it). Please stick to discussion of the DC sets. Thank you. :sweet:

How about a D2C with all that and more? :grin_wub:

I was thinking that one of the most iconic things about the 66' show was the bat pole. When Just2Good said all that and more, maybe he was talking about wayne manor and a working batpole!!!

Yeah

Bruce Wayne IS Batman

Kidding aside, yes, he was and he did play a rather substantial role in several episodes.

Ok, but I think we're definitely getting an Adam West figure! Maybe if we get him then we will get Stan Lee!

I can almost guarantee we'll get a minifigure Adam West... as Batman.

Maybe West and Lee (that should be a street corner, btw) can both be the SDCC exclusives for next year.

According to the Bionicle 2016 page, the 2016 catalog is out. So we should expect some leaks happening over the next few days.

:excited:

Oooh, I can't wait to see the BvS sets. Also, those Racers are coming in the winter too, right?

Just hope they don't pull a GotG on us by not actually showing the contents of the BvS sets in the catalog.

It's been out for a while, I think. I know someone who knows someone who knows someone (!) who has seen the prelims.

Please tell me this is the tease that comes just before the spilling out of details.
