psqidexslizer248 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 The emoticon reminds me of Joker. JOKER CONFIRMED Nice detective skills. Batman's a detective... BATMAN CONFIMED!!!
Colossus Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Oops, that's right. Haven't seen the movie in months, but that was one of the best parts. WhaaaAAAAAT?!? Blasphemy.
Captain Nemo Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 You never know, they might (although, if they do, the racers will likely be rather tiny [think polybag Joker Bumper Car sized] and the piece count rather low). No, I'm sure we won't get two minifigures per set. The cheapest sets the Superheroes have received thus far have all been $12 ones, and they've included two figures or more. The racers at a $10 price point, cannot accommodate two minifigures and two vehicles. I think these are very comparable to the Star Wars Microfighters. They have the exact same price point, and are essentially the same thing granted with a theme swap (and 'racers' being added, which if it's some mechanism that allows them to 'race', only ensures that it cannot accommodate two minifigures in addition). Their vehicles are all small and average under 100 parts--plus they all have one minifigure. I don't think there's any reason to expect anything different from a Superhero version.
Amazing Bricks Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Well the Chima tribe packs had three minifigures in a $10 set. So I would never say never about two minifigures in a $10 set
Captain Nemo Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Chima is an in house property; there's tons on non-licensed sets with more than one figure for under $10. That's not so much the case with Licensed sets however, at least not any more.
Amazing Bricks Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 True, well I just hope two minifigures come in a racers set. That would make me want to get it. Let's just see what TLG have planned for us.

psqidexslizer248 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Be prepared to be amazed, but unless we re-define the term LEGo minifigure.... So legless mini-figures? That's... interesting? Thanks for the hints just2good. Edited August 13, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
Amazing Bricks Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Be prepared to be amazed, but unless we re-define the term LEGo minifigure.... Sounds like two minifigures, but that last part scares me.
Captain Nemo Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 So...I was right about there being only one 'minifigure'... Brick-built figures that 'go'...tisk tisk Lego tisk tisk. Because that's what we wanted!
psqidexslizer248 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Sounds like two minifigures, but that last part scares me. IDK if it means minifigures without their legs or minifigures that are nothing more than just legs... that last one sounds especially terrible.
Mr_KnowItAll_JD23 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 What if Lego used this: http://media.peeron.com/pics/inv/custpics/x351.jpg

Legocity2713 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Be prepared to be amazed, but unless we re-define the term LEGo minifigure.... So, no legs? Very interesting. Kinda like that birthday cake set from this year? Guess no legs saves some money for a mechanism to race now huh? Edited August 13, 2015 by Legocity2713
The Lego Nolan Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 IDK if it means minifigures without their legs or minifigures that are nothing more than just legs... that last one sounds especially terrible. Minifigs In large pairs of legs? Is that a new piece? No they had those in some pullback racers.
Mr_KnowItAll_JD23 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Is that a new piece? I'm pretty sure that's an old piece, but I hope these Racer sets don't use that piece. It's kind of ugly looking. Edited August 13, 2015 by Mr_KnowItAll_JD23
psqidexslizer248 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 No they had those in some pullback racers. Thank goodness, that's a relief. I wonder now if the "go" hint in J2G's Raven post wasn't referring to her being TTG inspired at all, but rather a part of this new Racer's theme. A legless Raven (or worse, a Lady Legasus legless Raven) would definitely be disappointing.
Captain Nemo Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Maybe Lego is just going to make the best Superhero vehicle ever: the Justice Jogger.
TheAmazingDarkKnight Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I've got a bad feeling that the disappointing "minifigs" in the racer sets is what Just2Good was hinting towards about when he talked about Raven not being exciting..
TheLegoExperience Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Great ._. Legless minifigures? These Racers seem so much more disappointing now.

Brennens world Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Be prepared to be amazed, but unless we re-define the term LEGo minifigure.... I was looking forward to the racers kind of. Not anymore. If Lego does do this the racers will sell bad. Who wants half of a minifigure?

Yeah, I'm looking too deeply into this again, sorry. Edited August 13, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
Bricky Dee Williams Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Maybe he was simply talking about Raven: She tends to do the cross legged floating thing, hence no legs.
