The plot makes no sense by putting all figures in a what, $70 set? Not the greatest choice. (For Lego. For consumers it's perfect.) I think they're relying a lot on the builds here. Sure, we're gonna want Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Lex, but we're also gonna want the new Batmobile and the iconic fight scene. They're riding on the iconography of the film rather than just the characters. I feel like we're missing someone, though? Sooo. Mild rumor spoilers, if Lex does get his armored suit, which I think is very likely, we might get that with the Batwing. Of course LEGO will probably make it huge like a mech. Given we've already got the Batwing as the set's focus, I'd imagine that if Lex's suit is involved it'd be a smaller build, like one of those teensy Ninjago mechs or the bigfig Cyborg suit from LB3.

Of course people would probably complain that we're not getting desert Batman with them but eh. Goons are a weird choice for the toyline in this huge cinematic event.

It does seem a little weird to include goons with the number of sets we are getting. If they wanted to give us the superman troops then I would have thought they would have given us 1-2 possibly 3 more sets

Today, I picked up the latest DC Lego movie, Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom; which contains our newest DC minifigure, the Trickster. The movie has actually been on the shelves for around a month now, but if you can you should definitely pick it up. The figure is spectacular--and the movie is seriously good too. Not even joking!

Sir Gareth, thanks for all the info you've provided. I completely agree with what you last wrote. Your hints have made what would otherwise have been a stale few months interesting and fun. Sorry to see you leave but you don't really have a choice given how rude everyone in this thread is being.

Personally I couldn't care less about hints and if that's how people want to drop info then that's fine... alternatively if people want to be much more straightforward in sharing info then that's fine too. What's irritating beyond belief is pages of people speculating based on picking up of supposed hints and endlessly begging people to come back to the thread and hint a little more. I won't ask people to give us info or drop hints and I'd hope and assume that once people have something to share then they'll do so out of the spirit of the thread rather than any other personally motivation... so I hope people continue to share whatever info they have and the giving and receiving if information is handled with the level of maturity expected of an adult forum.

If you don't like the "clutter", do us all a favor and don't create it. You're remarks about it only do damage in making more, so you can either appreciate the riddles and hints we do get, which are J2G's way of having fun (that's what Legos are about!). If you aren't int is, being a part of the Lego community, the "play well" community, then you can wait until info comes out straight up on another site, or until the sets come out. That's all there is to it. I agree with you and Sir Gareth. A lot of people (including me) enjoy hints and riddles about the contents of future sets and I'm thankful to receive them. I like to try and make a guess on them so I have an idea of what could be in a future set, and a lot of others like guessing on them as well. I can see how it could get out of hand if the hint is vague and everyone has a different idea on what the hint is and it creates clutter, but when the hint is very clear, it creates a discussion. Batman vs. two goons. Biggest set- Batwing. Batman, Superman, Lex, Wonder Woman, Lois, and a goon or two I think. This is all I know. But these are the only three. That's what J2G said.

Which makes me wonder how they will do the lex luthor set so it's not a complete mismatch

That would make the racers number as 3, the original rumored number and the same amount as Marvel.

Note: plus, the Joker was just released in a Bumper Car polybag, no need to put him in a Racer, right?
