Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I would think its a goon mini van or something. Unless it a truck for the Red Capes! The Red Capes are coming. The Red Capes are coming!
Capn Frank Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 What other characters are there in the set with Lex? Please tell us Hey just2good its been about a week is there any chance you could please spinkle some Batman V Superman set news. At least could you tell us the second vehicle in the batmobile set. The only reason i ask for this is because this thread had been dead for like a day. Sorry to ask this just2good but if you know anymore about the civil war sets could you post it in the marvel thread thanks. Quit making pointless posts begging for people to provide more information on upcoming sets! When members like J2G want to tell you something they find out, they will. They don't have to share anything! Not everything they know from preliminary information is gospel. I never thought there would ever be such a thing as Lego internet celebrities that make their name with infuriating advertising methods like teasing and holding back news. You shouldn´t tolerate this behaviour as it only encourages more people to do this. What do you want? A dozen idiots hinting at little details of that 70% are completely made up just to get clicks on their youtube accounts or 90s-looking blogs or do you want more leakers that actually talk with you about what they know? Ignore these [snip] celebrities when they only want to communicate in doublespeak. That would force them to actually reveal news or gets them outed as the liars that most of them are. Take back what was yours. This is not the place to make such bold accusations and you provided no specific instances of anyone providing deliberate inaccurate information. Use the report system for that and let the staff take care of it. The Site Guidelines state: Manners and Serious Topics: Don't be offensive to other members. We like Eurobricks to be a friendly place to discuss LEGO and won't allow posts that are intended to offend or attack. For the same reason, topics about religion or politics are not welcome on Eurobricks. You have been warned.
Marvel_Geek Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Hey guys I just joined this topic and I feel like I shouldn't have because of all the fighting and the rudeness. I started following this topic because of the awesome sounding sets we're getting in 2016, and it has even convinced me to get all of the sets that have come out this year. Just for the record just2good, Sir Gareth, CM4sci, and any others who give legitimate info Thank you. This is just my two cents, I enjoy the discussion about the future sets so here are my thoughts on the b.v.s sets that j2g told us. I like the news for the b.v.s sets, so will the rooftop set have an armored Batman and light up brick inside of the bat signal? The two goons are odd but I think the batmobile is the main reason people would want the set, especially since the sets are meant for kids.
Ashnflash Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 ^ This post made my day thanks, it's what I've been thinking for a long time and I'm glad a MOD is finally saying it! If I could just make a suggestion... Can we not speculate or talk about maybe this person is in the set or maybe this vehicle... Rumors and Discussion NOT Speculation and Ideas.... I'm sure a lot of you guys have a bunch of great ideas and maybe some of them are true! But J2G posted that info like 3 or 4 pages ago... Stay on track and if there is a break for a whole day then don't just break the silence to just say something... If there's no news then wait! Sorry for the rant...
frank_day Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 The Batmobile set was said to include 2 other figures when it was announced. Sooo, yeah two goons is pretty disappointing. Yeah, we share the disappointment. but I think it makes sense. If 2 other figures are notable characters, they could have been revealed in SDCC. So, they are more likely to be generic goons, maybe more detailed.
psqidexslizer248 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Is it just me, or does it seem like the $70 set is missing something build-wise? Also, are the goons in the Batmobile set the same ones as in the Batwing set?

Also, are the goons in the Batmobile set the same ones as in the Batwing set? It certainly seems like it. The red capes are the goons, so that's a good thing for army builders.

Also, are the goons in the Batmobile set the same ones as in the Batwing set? At this point im thinking it might be a part of lexcorp tower. Remember Just2good does not know everything about these sets. That's means there is most likely something else in the set. Like I said, im hoping there is also a certain big figure in the set as well. Speaking of witch can anyone confirm if we are getting another villain in the BvS sets?

Thank you so very much. I'm not sure uninteresting is the right word though, I am very interested. I'm betting this is the helicopter: http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/229/files/2014/06/Bqh94BEIYAE251R.jpg Edited September 8, 2015 by psqidexslizer248

Amazing Bricks Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 We can't have a lex Corp truck and helicopter without the lex Corp building right?

If there is a Lego Lexcorp building coming next year, either 1.Lego is keeping it under pretty tight wraps 2. Just2good isn't telling us about it or 3. There's a store exclusive we don't know about. Numbuh1Nerd Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Does anybody have a picture of the BvS Superman minifig from that lenticular thing at SDCC?
N_Cat Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Holy cow. Just2Good, if you knew this much for the whole time you were dropping hints, then I admire your self-control; I would have been bursting at the seams to tell people. I hope you haven't ruined your relationship with your sources, you seem like a great guy with enormous pressure put on you to reveal things. I get the sense I could trust you with almost anything. On another note, does everyone else think that the LexCorp truck will be almost exactly like the Cho Research truck from the Quinjet set this year? Or is there some example that's even closer, like the Grodd banana truck?

ultron32 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Thanks J2G as always. I'm curious how your sources work....they tell you things for you to reveal, but half the time you can only give hints or snippets of information? Or is it your choice not to reveal things all at once? It seems like a peculiar deal, however it works, especially since you don't post the info on to your Youtube channel, making you barely more qualified than anybody else :P
Amazing Bricks Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) I'm kind of confused about the BvS $70 set. It apparently has six or seven minifigures, but the 2015 quinjet had five minifigures for $80. I'd love seven minifigures for $70, but that just sounds to good to be true. Are we sure its not more than $70? Edited September 8, 2015 by amazingbricks

YoshiBlockr Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Just compare the set to the 2015 gorilla grodd set. It had a ton of figures and a okay build for $50. This will be similar in that aspect.
Captain Nemo Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 For the Batwing and a Lexcorp Helicopter, $70 sounds like an ideal price. The figure count does seem a little high, but I'm not complaining. Meh, I get the feeling that it's just going to be a glorified 6836 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City set; just with slightly larger or more detailed vehicles and then nothing else. The last $10 or $15 of the set won't encompass a build, but will be used to poorly justify including so many figures. I see this going the way of many Star Wars sets, where you get one giant ship and then a bunch of excess minifigures that don't necessarily go with it, but end up adding to the overall price anyways.

I might be OK with that. I am more of a minifig collector anyway. Most of the DC sets have just ended up being disassembled and parted out anyway.
Clone OPatra Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 With current superhero films, and I fear the DC films especially, going for 'realism' it often means that only one side gets vehicles that will translate into interesting material for sets. I'm beginning to get tired of seeing generic trucks and helicopters in the Marvel film sets, as well as in Licensed themes like the Ninja Turtles movie sets, and now it will be in DC as well. These things aren't inherently bad, but if the generic trucks and helicopters from DC's movie universe are all black as some set photos would suggest, it will be disappointing and dull. I wish the DCU filmmakers would give the bad guys slightly zanier vehicles or at least color schemes, just so that we'd have more interesting LEGO sets!
Falconfan1414 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Personally I want to see what the 70 set is depicting because based on the mini figures it's hard to tell what it could be
