I'm just going to comment something huge. I missed a ton of the discussion. First off, really don't like the Batmobile. But I like the BvS version. It's a great car visually, but it's obviously a pain to make in LEGO. Especially when making a set with two vehicles, dividing equal attention to both is impossible with toys especially with iconic vehicles. So as far as I know, it could just be a truck or some glider. Who knows! That being said, I think the best possible route for LEGO would've been putting a better version in a larger set?

And this movie... It's not getting three sets. If you bank on a historic movie crossing two (and more) of the most iconic heroes that are household brands because you just know they exist and you already like them. It's been done with Avengers, that movie got plenty sets. But those weren't Class A heroes. Don't get me wrong I love Marvel and DC, but DC just has more iconic characters. The tone has nothing to do with it. The Dark Knight was dark and LEGO still is banking on TDK merchandise. With the newest VIP exclusive Batpod. Anyways, we're getting lots of sets, if not Age of Ultron count maybe a little more or maybe a little less. But it seems like a full wave. So, good.

The talk of the BvS movies is good talk. Wayne Manor seems to be a pivotal motif or motivation for Bruce Wayne. (Entertainment Weekly talks a ton about Wayne Manor. It's pretty public...) We'll probably get the Batwing, seems obvious. We're getting a Batcave. LEGO loves tech in sets, well this Batcave is supposed to be the leader in all that tech. Lex Luthor's character will be explored as we see a picture of him with hair and then he's bald in another promo. So we will likely see him with a Lexcorp set.

Who knows what that entails, just speculation based on public knowledge and no spoilers. Aquaman is also obviously showing up. Any character up to this point that has had an official photo reveal is going to be in sets.

I'm sure I covered all my wholeheartedly opinionated points based on things we clearly know and nothing speculative from movie sites. That's probably your worst source unless there's photo evidence or proof of being on set. (Like the Entertainment Weekly article.)

^I think lego did the batmobile very well, and i love that its in proper scale.

Dont know if it appears mroe black in movie, but the on set images it's clearly grey and not black so we'll see how it ends up compared to lego.

Hmm, not sure if I agree with the way they're doing the rumor threads now. I also don't like Superhereos, Super Heroes is the way it's shown and looks better.

The problem for me is, the Licensed Tower page does not offer the "Go To First Unread Post" buttons. Those are critical, as they are the one feature that I use most often! :sceptic:

I really love how the Batmobile looks. I think they did an excellent job.

I agree so much! The question is whether Batman and Superman will ever be in a set together. The only set with Iron Man and Captain America was $80 USD, so I think a "Batman vs. Superman" set would cost at least that much. But who knows?

Of course they will be, the fight between the two is bound to be the highlight of the movie - no way we won't get a set based around it. I would not be surprised if the set based on that fight scene is the most expensive/flagship set of the wave tbh. It makes sense for Lego to capitalize on the fight scene between Batman and Superman as much as possible.

Eh, I don't know about the flagship. That probably wouldn't necessarily be capitalizing as much as possible, since not a lot of kids can buy those sets, so they might just turn around and buy something else, or they could just get two smaller sets for Batman and Superman, making the set that is about their fight less about them and more about what it includes that makes it stand out, something like the Batwing maybe, but then that isn't really spreading content around evenly (not that that's a bad thing for us). It could happen, but a set around the Hulkbuster's price range (~$35?) or even smaller would be more likely, I think.

If the AoU sets are anything to go by, the flagship might not be the best way to get the main characters, but provides at least a few of them, maybe with a variation, and gives some desirable secondary characters (like Vision) for people who are collecting more seriously. Considering that, it wouldn't surprise me if the flagship is Batman or Superman (or both) teaming up with Wonder Woman (or even Aquaman, though I'm not convinced we'll see him in a set) to fight...something.

That's heavy speculation on my end, and I'm wrong all of the time, so don't quote me (unless I got something right). It'll be interesting to see what price points we are getting and how many sets there are, since there isn't a lot to go by right now....

That's the new Wonder Woman minifigure for the sets! Is that a new hairpiece?

Its the starlet? hairpiece from CMF. The hair lois ane SHOULD of had in MOS sets.

Look at this video preview of a display for LEGO Batman V. Superman sets at SDCC!

That's the new Wonder Woman minifigure for the sets! Is that a new hairpiece? Looks a bit like the one from the Hobbit line but less wavy... I also spot some awesome arm printing!

As far as I can tell, that is a new hairpiece. It does look a lot like part# 90396, but the bottom of Wonder Woman's looks more wavy. About time Wonder Woman got some arm-printing, though I wonder why they only did her bracelets and not that arm band she has. Anyway, I can't wait to see what set she'll be exclusive too .

It's definitely not the Starlet's hair, unless there's another CMF Starlet I don't know about.

He meant the Pop Star's, but it's definitely a new piece. It's a bit looser, curves in on the face more, and it's higher on the head.

I'm definitely going to get whatever set WW's in, since she looks fantastic!

Oooo! That's a sweet Wonder Woman. And a new hair piece!

Regardless of my feelings on the BvS movie, I know for sure I'll be getting that figure.

I know all the attention is on wonder woman, by the way a fantastic minifigure. But superman has a new torso, his hair piece looks different than the poster we saw of him, and I love the smiling face but is that the same face as the dimensions pack?

Tho looking mroe at it, it might be a new one that is similar but new.

Oh, that makes sense. That is the hair piece I mentioned this new one looked similar too.

It appears Wonder Woman will have the same head as her previous two figures.

I think it is the same one we saw on the poster. I am pretty sure that is the dimensions face.

Speaking of Superman, I like how the brows and mouth on the Lego one make it almost look like Cavill has a beard and mustache on that sign .

I'm guessing that the hairpiece is the same as the LEGO-ized BvS poster, but the lenticular screen removes some of the detail, The face is the same as the Dimensions version.

It appears Wonder Woman will have the same head as her previous two figures.

Not at all! Notice the printed tiara on her forehead.

Wow that is so well done. Honestly, very impressed by that signage.

As for Wonder Woman it looks like a great figure. Haven't had one till now, so I guess I'll hold off on her Dimensions pack since she's the only part I wanted for my JL Collection.

I hope wodner woman comes with both the lasso and the 'rope' in gold. But I guess she has the sword and shield instead. I'd want them all.

And for the record, Wonder woman should have some kind of pink lips, not dark red like lego gave her...

DETAILS LEGO!!!!!
