Actor Builder Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Hey, quick question: Does anybody know if the UCS Tumbler is in the same scale as the UCS Batmobile from the first Batman series? Thanks. Sorry if this is the wrong thread, I wasn't sure where to ask this.

adotnamedstud Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Really excited for the Gotham City Cycle chase, I'm pretty fine with getting newer Bat-Rouges. Just a matter of time until we get some indication of Talon or a CoO member in the future! I am though, pretty disappointed that it's more motor bikes. Harley getting a new Hammer Truck would be nice, or have the setting be a boat? That'd always be interesting. Any reason why DC seems to use more road based vehicle sets? I feel like we miss out a bit of content really.

To be fair it's been quite a while since we last had a bat-cycle (2008 I believe) I agree that giving Harley a new truck would be nice indeed but maybe Lego just want to give Harley a Harley....
legosamsonite Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 To be fair it's been quite a while since we last had a bat-cycle (2008 I believe) There were 2 different ones in 2012.
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 There were 2 different ones in 2012. You are totally right... probably shows how much of an impression they made I guess
legosamsonite Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 You are totally right... probably shows how much of an impression they made I guess You should have said "no decent bat bike since 2008" cause thats true ;)
TheBatstan Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) The Batcave Batcycle was really good IMO, slick and smooth especially with that front part. The Funhouse Batcycle is another story... Edited September 28, 2015 by MisterBatfleck

Sir Gareth Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Can we even consider the Funhouse one to be a Batcycle? Believe. I know that sounds like a cat poster, but it's true.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Believe. I know that sounds like a cat poster, but it's true. Oh, I just emailed a GIF of that to someone today! And I personally didn't like the 2012 Bat-cycles. They were too big, they had batman sitting on his legs, which didn't look quite right.

Numbuh1Nerd Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I absolutely love the Batcave's Batcycle.
8BrickMario Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I just realized that this isn't the first time Batman's faced Harley in a Bat-pod!
IMBATMAN Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I absolutely love the Batcave's Batcycle. same Also, will we get a bew Lois Lane? Or will she be the exact same one from 2013? (If she is then I'll find a way to get rid of her. Absolutely hated her design from the first Superman sets)

Absolutely hated her design from the first Superman sets) Oh yeah, that head was especially awful. Looked nothing like Amy Adams. I keep hoping for a comic-accurate Lois, but I'd be content with any Lois that's better than that thing. I just realized that this isn't the first time Batman's faced Harley in a Bat-pod! ???
TheLegoExperience Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 We've got an actual name for the new racer sets. Introducing....Mighty Micros! Link: http://www.brickhero...dc-marvel-2016/
Captain Nemo Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 They also seem to confirm that the figures use short legs... Suddenly way less interested in these...
8BrickMario Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) ??? The Hammer Truck set in the original Batman theme had Batman riding a Pod-style Batcycle. What a tease with that image! Hopefully the characters won't require leg printing, so regular-size ones can be used...The characters shouldn't be micro, too. Edited September 29, 2015 by 8BrickMario
KCMatze Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Noooooo. That is a bummer, Guess if that are all recycled figures they are a pass for most then.
8BrickMario Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Yeah, the vehicles had better be great, because I'm not seeing anything worth my time yet.
TheLegoExperience Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Yeah, the vehicles had better be great, because I'm not seeing anything worth my time yet. Yeah, so far all the DC racers seem to be repeats, so if the builds aren't that good they're worthless to me.
dmarvin Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Great vehicles x2 in a package for $10 with 2 minifigs? Sorry but they're not going to be "great." If they had made them one minifig and one vehicle like Star Wars got, you could have probably expected great. These are very much aimed at smaller kids and people who can't afford large sets. These sets are not aimed at AFOLs. I've missed out on the comics version of Bane, so I'm definitely buying one of those. There's no printing on his legs, so I can replace with a set of full-size plain black legs easily. To get a decent Bane on Bricklink is about $10 US.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 same Also, will we get a bew Lois Lane? Or will she be the exact same one from 2013? (If she is then I'll find a way to get rid of her. Absolutely hated her design from the first Superman sets) She looked more like Black Widow than Lois Lane, I passed on that set with her. We've got an actual name for the new racer sets. Introducing....Mighty Micros! Link: http://www.brickhero...dc-marvel-2016/ Darn, so much for Gobby and Bane. They'd have been so much cooler with big legs, there goes my last shard of hope.
