I think it's real. I have no problem believing that Lego would recolor a print. I vaguely recall seeing the old J.J. Jameson print from the old Spiderman sets recolored to have a brown mustache. So reusing a Batman torso seems possible.

Lego stopped doing 3 "ribs" but this fig got the old 3 instead of the refined 2 it's really weird Lego just recoloring such an old print. Real or not, I think it looks bad and cheap

I think the same thing as Sir Gareth and deskp ( it's fake ). The wings look pretty fake and his torso has the same print ( only different color ). These are just my thoughts.

If it is real, it is the cheapest looking figure Lego has created for this theme so far. Very disappointing.

So, anyone who thinks that this is real... Sorry. The print is years old as said above. The new muscle print is universal to the Superheroes theme at this point. There would be new details rather than a few steps back. There are many other designs LEGO could have used one of the old designs that wasn't used. The wings are far too sharp for LEGO to produce. The wings look terrible in quality anyways. That's all that you really need.

In Mighty Micros, Batman has the new cowl. It's only still being used for BvS or TDK Merchandise. The BvS Batman seems to have the same face as the 2015 one too. There's no chance they'd revert back to the 2013/2014 cowl when they've pushed to get the 2015 one to be mainstream.

Summer/Fall 2016 is still very far away news wise. If any comic sets come from it it's got to be Batman or Superman related sets because of Batman v Superman. Or it could be a continuation of JL. It's got to be comic based sets though. Or based off of the new JL Cartoon as Suicide Squad has been beaten like a dead horse on here for why we won't see direct sets from that movie.

I guess we'll see.

I'm not saying I think it's real, but the cheapest BvS set has the 2013/2014 cowl in dark silver... So they still plan on using that cowl.

Well, I did say it was being used in the BvS set. But only for an armored variant.

I hope this is the last year that we see that old cowl. It's getting very repetitive and I'm honestly just tired of seeing it. That new 52 cowl is in the mighty micro set and I hope it's a sign of it being used commonly from now on. Seeing the old cowl in the cheapest BvS set worries me though.

Okay, looking again, I'll give them the wings. Those look official. But the torso print is not up to today's standards, so that seems fake.

The wings, to me, just look like the Space Batman one's recolored.

The wings look kinda fake to me.

Ditto. I noticed right away. They also kinda curled at the ends. Lego would never allow their wing parts to curl like that. Fake beyond comprehension.

Yeah, but cheaper looking and Lego isn't known for that kind of quality.

Also, why would they give Batman Beyond Bruce's head? Kind of seems like he would be the type of character to warrant a new face print. :shrug_oh_well:

A friend of mine had the image of the Batman figure up on his Facebook page and was asked by LEGO to take it down... Hopefully the torso is just a prototype, it seems too 'custom' than most of the figures now.

That means something. hmmm They only ask that when it is a prerelease or real figure. Was it the same one?

This must be a very early prototype. One of those winged shaped piece is new. It honestly looks like a poorly made minifigure. I hope they update the torso and make the wings look better than that. I'm not to crazy about this variant, but i'll take a different suit any day over the same black and yellow Batman.

Even those who think it's "real" don't think that this is what the final figure will look like, right? Lego wouldn't release that, even if it were an internally used figure.

It even comes with the plastic that it would've came in? LEGO asking to remove the photo and the fact that different people have the same figure seems like solid evidence that it's an actual figure to me.

I agree with everyone else, though. This is a pretty weird, poorly-made looking figure.

I assume it's real or people are way to excited about a fake minifigure:

We just think that the wings are looking fake and I still don't think it's real. Why so much discussion about that minifigure?! Maybe now focus more on other things like: "How to get the mini-Batmobile polybag?" or "Is there going to be a Juniors DC set?".

Well the last pic with the bag of them shows someone printed a lot of them... which was going to be my first point. It certainly looks pad printed and that's an expensive process and the fact that all the copies of them seem to be located in the US says it's not a Chinese clone manufacturer.

It can't really be a Batman Beyond figure as the design is way off and even the bootleggers now have a perfect copy of that fig. The wings look terrible though. There's definitely something 'hand-made' about them... they seem to be cut abnormally sharp and some of them look like they've been roughly coloured in.

The use of an old design being recoloured is an odd choice. To be honest... ever since the Nurse Joker figure appeared I've thought something was weird about it. That figure was too roughly done and was simply based on Harley's medial torso but looked hand drawn. Hoth Bricks were convinced it was from a very reliable source but it looked badly done to me. Now having a Batman figure which is a recolour of another older design tells me that someone is getting hold of lots of prototype figures OR someone is trying to generate interest in supposed prototype figures and thus raising the price point for each of them to sell.

Having Lego ask for an image to be removed doesn't always say it's real... their legal department contact many people selling figures they deem to infringe on their IP and it may be a case they they have been made aware that this figure is being sold as a genuine photo when it isn't... so they're asking for it to be taken down where they see it to stop adding fuel to the fire and profits to the maker.

Looks like there isn't :(, I'm surprised there's no juniors DC superman set yet

Maybe next year IF there is going to be one. And if not, maybe in 2017? ( I know this is to far away for talking about it so forget about this post ;-) )

The wings just look misprinted to me. So if these are real perhaps they're part of a test batch that did not come out correctly.

Seeing even more pictures I'm less sure if this is real or not.
