8BrickMario Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I like the idea of her mallet being integrated into the vehicle!
just2good Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 So it IS Deadshot! Nice, the prelim figure was just white with writing on it. The jetpack uses that new Friends accessory holder in gold, two. I wonder why LEGO is being so secretive about the Mighty Micros. Mighty Micros release in Spring, I mean, that's a long time from now.
kevkipo Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Mighty Micros release in Spring, I mean, that's a long time from now. March? i tought DC and Marvel released in Jan?
IMBATMAN Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 March? i tought DC and Marvel released in Jan? For Marvel it will be released in Jan, while DC will have their racers released in March
Winter Soldier Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 For Marvel it will be released in Jan, while DC will have their racers released in March That's weird!!!!
Deathstroke77 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Do you think we'll see a Reverse Flash figure soon? And I wonder if the Batcycle is like the 2008 or 2012 ones, or based off the Bat-Pod.
8BrickMario Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Apparently, the new Batcycle is closer to the '08 one, with some Bat-Pod influence.

I don't think we'll see him for a while. Maybe if they make him the main villain of the flash movie, and they make sets based off of it. I really don't know though. I would love if we got one though :D
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 So are we sure the Harley Cycle Chase set is coming out in March? It just seems way too early for a TRU description to have leaked if that is the case.
8BrickMario Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 It's not too early for them to have the description. Some overzealous worker decided to post the info far ahead of time, though.

Maybe if the summer wave focuses on someone besides Batman for a change, don't count on it though.
Amazing Bricks Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 So just to make sure, Harley is red/black or red/blue? She has the zombie cheerleaders hair right? and this set comes out in January?

CM4Sci Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) So just to make sure, Harley is red/black or red/blue? She has the zombie cheerleaders hair right? and this set comes out in January? Catalog says March, bike is blue/red, ponytails are prelim so I don't know if they're gonna be red and blue or whatever. EDIT: Also, the hammer attachment isn't all that impressive, it looks like it's just a clip and you can turn up and down on the left side. Edited October 20, 2015 by CM4Sci
Pulp Detective Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Finally after all this years we get another cheap harley set and adding deadshot just makes it even better!!! Hopefully she'll have her hair in this one.
Catanas Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) Good to know the Harley set features rubber tires. Really worried Lego was going to be cheap and just give us the rims...it's a very important feature you know, and Lego is always leaving them off their cars... Ohhh, the sarcasm is strong in you! Edited October 20, 2015 by Catanas
8BrickMario Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 If her bike's red and blue, her hair must be as well. Harley's never worn her hair blonde or partially dyed while using the red/blue colors. So what if the hammer attachment's lame? As long as it works, I'm fine with it.
Clone OPatra Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 If her bike's red and blue, her hair must be as well. Harley's never worn her hair blonde or partially dyed while using the red/blue colors. Oh really? Seeing as we don't expect LEGO to make direct Suicide Squad sets, they might incorporate the character looks into mishmash sets ala Beware the Batman Batsuit in the Riddler Chase (as one example).
8BrickMario Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Oh, good point. But her costume itself isn't that red/dark blue combo seen in the comics or on the bike. I think it would be easier for LEGO to use a half/half color scheme for the hair than they would for the faded effect, since it's easier for rubber pieces. I do feel that the tie-in would be looser, though. I'd personally prefer a full-on comics look, though, so that's just my mind trying to justify what I want.

I don't know that I'd care for half and half printing on that hairpiece and it might be difficult to print like that on such a detailed piece anyways. I'm reminded of the Batgirl cowl printing which had a problem printing in the ridges of the hair often having splotches where it faded to black (The replacement I got for that had the exact same problem too). Really I don't think a faded effect would be required either. I think it would look better without being faded. Edited October 20, 2015 by strangely
8BrickMario Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I understand that my preference is the least popular, but I just want them to get her right unlike the Jokerland version. I know a fully blonde hairpiece would be infinitely more usable, but I don't really care. I do see how printing the hair in that way would be a challenge, but I imagine only one half of the hair would be printed while the other half would be the base color. I just realized how disappointed I am that there's only one regular set this wave. DC's got really tiny waves these days.
Deathstroke77 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) So with Deadshot are we talking his LB3 versions (inc. DLC one) or something entirely different? And am I the only one who wants CW/Arkham series based sets for DC at some stage? I guess Arkham Asylum was loosely based off the videogame 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' but it wasn't anything official (relating to the game) nor special, just a great collector's piece with great figs and for a kid some good scenarios such as using the helicopter set from 2012 and then 'locking' The Joker up in the Asylum after beating him. Edit: Just looked through the forums, seems there isn't an actual look from the prelims at Deadshot. Also, as you can probably see by the big banner on the side I'm a new member and don't really know much about how we get all this information, can someone tell me how we get information of prelims and sets about 4 months before they come out? 8BrickMario Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Mr. Freeze is taken directly out of Arkham City, but you're right, there's not much. I personally like the more fun comics sets more, but I wouldn't mind getting an Arkham-series Joker.
frog4gators Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 My guess on Deadshot... probably without the printed legs http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/lego/images/c/c3/Deadshott.png/revision/latest?cb=20141015001416

I'd definitely like to see an Arkham Knight Batmobile, especially in UCS form. Edited October 20, 2015 by AngelofVengeanceAzrael7
