Zergos Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Do you have any other 2016 figs derzy? If not thats fine, at least we got to see a couple. Though they do look kinda fake, but if they're real, they're real. Step down for lego.
Robianco Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I must admit that even though people are saying the parts are printed with Lego such as the dark blue cowl there's something that still doesn't sit right with me. The open wings shape is just the hard plastic one we've always had and the closed wings just seems like a poorly drawn version of the Space Batman wings. Lego has the cutting form ready to print those wings so why create a new sharp one that's so close? The print is also odd... the Hackman and Space Batman wings were a perfectly flat colours with detailing print added whereas these have moulding and highlights in places that just seem badly done for an official release. If I was putting out a fake set of wings then I'd know to emulate the existing released wings and put the ©Lego detailing on it to make it look legit. Both Bricks were convinced their source was legit for the Joker Nurse figure as well as this one but I'm just not feeling it. I think the Joker Nurse figure was badly drawn and I just don't believe Lego would rehash the old design like that in red... especially when it's so far from a design they already have for Batman Beyond. The grey and blue version just looks like the old one with a recent head stuck on it... having the coloured wings exactly the same in blue also looks odd to me as it has all the poorly drawn design features of it's black counterpart. I'm sure time will tell whether it's the released version... If so I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. But if it's not then I'll definitely believe someone was trying to pull the wool over people's eyes. Would it be too far to believe that someone who may be in the Lego factory that is willing to leak prelim figures like this wouldn't just grab some artwork plates and print up some duff stuff to make a profit or start a rumour? Maybe not... but selling them on in the first place doesn't show a great deal of honesty to begin with. lol since when does the lego factory make fakes?? Since it started putting out crap like this. Factories don't make fakes. People who work at factories that are happy to steal stuff and sell it might happily make fakes.
just2good Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 I knew they'd be real.... one of those has to be from the Gotham Chase set (called it earlier! )
Robianco Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) I knew they'd be real.... one of those has to be from the Gotham Chase set (called it earlier! ) Are you really saying you think it's legit? I must admit... I think this is supposedy from he same source that 'leaked' the Joker Nurse: The Joker torso is so badly drawn it looks like it was coloured in by my nan.... and she died in 1989. The grey shadows are heavy and misprinted and the purple area under the coat isn't completely filled in. For a company that holds the artwork, and just needs to recolour something existing, if they're pad printing even 10 of those figs they'd be quicker amending the existing 'perfect' artwork than getting someone to draw it freehand. I'm sure they have multiple colour pad printing presses too so they should never be THAT far out of register in printing. Something definitely not right about it. In fact the more I look at the cutting form of those wings and how the print is cut off on the keyline of the wings etc the more I'm sure that it's not real. It's just a very poor job regardless of whether someone at the 'factory' leaked it. If it's some from the factory then there's a fella drawing stuff with his non dominant hand and his tongue sticking out the side of his mouth chuckling to himself that some people will think these are real before printing them out with '© 2015 Lego Group' on them just to make sure people are definitely convinced even though he's gone over every line in his Crayola Lego Batman wings colouring template. Amazing Bricks Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Those dark blue wings do indeed have the 2016 mark on it. one of them will for sure be in the cycle chase, but what about the other one?
just2good Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Are you really saying you think it's legit? I must admit... I think this is supposedy from he same source that 'leaked' the Joker Nurse: I think it's legit based on all the info and everything we know, but I have not seen definite proof (but I still am almost 100% sure it's real). The Joker Nurse on the other hand... I'm not totally sure about that one. There's only been one source with that. With the Batman one (well, at least the red and black one), multiple sources, including some really reliable ones, have the figure. And, it fits in with the Gotham Chase set.
8BrickMario Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 If they're fake, then aren't the "LEGO" stamps illegal?

Sir Gareth Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Post an aerial shot of the Batmen's hip pieces, I need to see the tops pronto.
Robianco Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) Post an aerial shot of the Batmen's hip pieces, I need to see the tops pronto. I've got no doubt that they're printed on genuine pieces. I could post pics of my Batman Beyond by Christo and they'd all have official Lego stamps as they're on genuine Lego. Kaanere Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Someone should do a poll about the wings. But cleary fake. Simply, someone put the @Lego marks on them.
Robianco Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 No doubt, but the direction of the stamps dictate the age of the pieces. Good call!

Sir Gareth Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 no idea what you mean Is the text of the stamps horizontal, like that of a book or this webpage, or vertical?
CM4Sci Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Could we see some better pictures? Use imgur or something.

And what's so wrong with your camera if you already used it to provide the previous pictures? I call shenanigans. These are most definitely fake. Edited October 31, 2015 by Sir Gareth

Nsk97 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) I have been a silent observer of this topic for a while now but I can't not comment on these supposed real minifigures. I must say I completely agree with Sir Gareth these are quite clearly fake. Even for prelims these are far too poorly done and lego would not recolour a print from a theme discontinued years ago. Plus lego stamps on the wings do not in anyway prove they are official as they would not be hard to forge. Also not to be cynical but Derzy09 hardly appears a reliable source given his bizarre dodging of questions and inability to take more photos. Furthermore he became a member literally a few hours ago so unlike say Just2good, Sir Gareth, CM4Sci etc he is hardly reputable or trusted as a source. Edited October 31, 2015 by Nsk97
