Amazing Bricks Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I do The Superman minifigure with dual-molded legs will be in the largest set, while the plain one's in the smallest, much like Batman in this year's summer wave. That head's from the LEGO Dimensions pack, and may not even be in the BvS sets. Seems too cheerful. That head with the smile is definitely in the BvS sets. Proof: http://www.creatacor.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/3-LEGO-Comic-Con-2015-Trade-Show-Exhibit.jpg And it's obvious that he's going to have boots in the expensive set.

Proof: http://www.creatacor.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/3-LEGO-Comic-Con-2015-Trade-Show-Exhibit.jpg I stand corrected Thanks for the pic, hadn't seen it before. Still too cheerful though...
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I stand corrected Thanks for the pic, hadn't seen it before. Still too cheerful though... Maybe for Man of Steel's Superman, but maybe not for BvS...? I'm really just hoping a bit tbh, either way I'm glad to be getting the new Superman head without spending $20 on a Lego Dimensions pack.
Amazing Bricks Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) I stand corrected Thanks for the pic, hadn't seen it before. Still too cheerful though... Agreed, but I'm all for a new face instead of the previous two faces Lego has given us. Also what's the source on that leaked superman picture? Edited November 1, 2015 by amazingbricks
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Is it just me or do Superman's legs look a different colour to his torso? They do look a bit darker... Maybe it's just the brighter blue printing messing with our eyes?
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Nope the legs are definately the same color as the torso its just the light blue printing above the waist that makes the legs look somewhat strange on the figure. The figure would have looked a lot better if they would have a little bit of printing on the waist in my opinion, that way the legs would look much more in line with the overal figure.

Ah that makes sense! I completely agree or even a little bit of light blue on the legs would help to continue the flow of the design.
Brennens world Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 It is nice to see that he will have the molded boots but I think it could have still used some leg printing.
Amazing Bricks Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) It would have been much better would if they gave BvS batman this face, it's from the zur en arrh batman I know with the new cowl, the bottom half of his face would be shown and probably wouldn't look right. The facial haired face would have made the BvS batman so much better. I'm hoping for a BvS Bruce Wayne minifigure, Edited November 2, 2015 by amazingbricks
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 This would have been much better would if they gave BvS batman this face Is that a head from an official figure or a custom one? If it's the former, which figure is it from?
vstat05 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Is that a head from an official figure or a custom one? If it's the former, which figure is it from? Its an official, one of the faces of the Zur En Arhh Batman. Edited November 2, 2015 by Raptor of Vengeance

Absolutely, the Man of steel looks more impressive because of that. And bvs one kind of looks like he's wearing a shirt or jacket instead of a full bodysuit. also they should have dropped the black line around the shield, the blue is quite enough, and with both lines it becomes too big Edited November 2, 2015 by deskp
Winter Soldier Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Other image of Cosmic Boy 30604 found on Brickset: http://brickset.com/sets/30604-1 You can also see a logo that says "Legion Of Superheroes". Maybe there is a connection? I also see a Superman logo, maybe Superman is the leader of "The Legion Of Superheroes"? I wouldn't be surprised if we'll see sets based on that theme coming out in the summer wave of DC. Article's name: "Cosmic Boy found in the wild" Edited November 2, 2015 by Winter Soldier

I wouldn't be surprised if we'll see sets based on that theme coming out in the summer wave of DC. Article's name: "Cosmic Boy found in the wild" Rather a connection to Superboy. Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad, and Superboy were/are all members of the Legion of Superheroes--a superhero team from the 30th and 31st centuries. Basically the poor mans JLA. Granted I'd be utterly shocked if we see sets based off them--clearly someone at Lego likes the Legion and is getting the 'special' figures based off them. I highly doubt there's enough public interest (or even knowledge) of the characters to warrant a full retail set however, at all. As evident by the whole "who is this figure" quest on Brickset when Cosmic Boy images surfaced.
DarthBrickus Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 It's usually Superboy who's with the Legion. Probably there's a new cartoon coming?

8BrickMario Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 No, he was a separate image/set from the beginning. I don't think we'd see a S@H quality image of something to be released by next autumn/winter, anyway, as the cubes are one per year. I'm glad he does come with the cosmic swirl base, rather than it just being a stand-in to pose the figure.

N_Cat Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I'm looking forward to those unprinted dark blue/red dual molded legs. Those have quite a bit of applicability outside BvS, going all the way back to the Spider-Man 2 figure in my icon!

Kaanere Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Maybe Cosmic Boy comes with the LEGO DC Comics: Justice League Cosmic Clash mini-movie? Judginvpg by the name, it has sense....
8BrickMario Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Um, it's a polybag, so it's not going to be the DVD figure...
Nsk97 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Um, it's a polybag, so it's not going to be the DVD figure... Could be new packaging for a DVD I suppose? He seems an odd choice for a lego site giveaway for example as he is far more unkown that say martian manhunter or the winter soldier?
8BrickMario Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 He's not a S@H bonus. He's likely to be at TRU like the similarly-packaged Rocket Raccoon and Electro.
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Actually, that logo is from the Legion of Superheroes animated series from a few years back. The Superboy that is involved with the Legion is actually Clark Kent when he was in high school, not Conner. I wonder if DC has some plans for the Legion, then. There was that rumor a while back of a Legion movie being DC's answer to Guardians of the Galaxy. I just hope that this isn't the end of Legion representation. I still want Saturn Girl and Brainiac 5!
