psqidexslizer248 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 And on that last point of Teen Titans, still waiting for Raven... Careful, there's a user on here who will go crazy if he hears that name.
NXS7 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Personally if Lego Dimensions is doing Teen Titans, I want an easier to get Beast Boy and Starfire along side the first --- Didn't say it Edited November 3, 2015 by Quicksilver838
Amazing Bricks Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 She will probably be in a $30 dimensions pack instead of an actual set.

IDK, we haven't seen any new figures in Dimension packs so far, as far as Super Heroes is concerned anyway. Maybe the Cosmic Clash movie will come with Raven. (If that's the case, you might want to preorder them quickly; I can't guarantee there'll be enough for everyone ).
legosamsonite Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Maybe Amazon should have a list of no double purchases for that movie ;)
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I agree with your point but the legion is not one DC's 3 biggest teams; that would be the Justice League, The Justice society and the (teen) titans. I guess the Justice Society, but the Legion would still be a close fourth. The JSA is a lot less likely to show up, though, since it's pretty much just made of less recognizable versions of the Justice League. I don't see how Raven would fit into a clearly space-themed film. Maybe if we were dealing with magic? Either way, Raven's too popular to just be an exclusive. She's gotta show up in a set sooner than later.

On the topic of Raven I doubt she will appear in a set given how Cyborg was in league sets not titan sets and the other main titans were just put into a batman based set. I do agree Raven is unlikely to be the minifigure with cosmic clash unless it's title is wildly misleading.
Shawn Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) Here is a another new Batman figure from a Mexican Facebook group. Similiar wings to the last one. http://minifigpriceg...facebook-group/ Edited November 4, 2015 by Shawn
Clone OPatra Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Let's get it embedded anyways: <snip - don't need this twice in a row now> That's the same one Derzy posted. At this point I'm willing to throw my hands up and say these are real. Shitty, not very exciting, but real. Why LEGO would go with these horrid wing things I don't know. But hey, it's LEGO, we can always replace them with capes. Also the new chinless-helmet on a fleshie head reminds me immeasurably of Big Daddy from Kick-megablocks. I doubt these heads are final. Hopefully LEGO will print some new faces on a dark blue head to go with the dark blue helmet.
TheBatstan Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I think I must be the only one who is happy that's it's real. That torso is just like the 2006 one (personal favorite) that I missed out on but with a better belt.

TheBrickBuilder14 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I'm also very happy with this new variant, the 2006 version was great IMO so getting a new slightly updated version of that one is great especially for those who didn't get it back then. What's even better is that it will most likely also include backprinting as that has become standard for Lego figures nowadays. The only thing that I find disappointing is that we don't get dual molded light gray legs with black boots but who knows what the future holds...
Robianco Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 These figures are all over the place.. Mexico, Ireland, France, U.S.... That just tells me that the circulation to resellers is quite wide... and that there's a lot of them. Too many to be honest. To me, that's still no indication that they're real. Yes, the blue one looks to make a little more sense than the black and red version and the artwork on the wings is slightly better than the black one but still crap... and still has the copyright information printed off centre. I still don't get why they'd go back to the old muscle torso or they'd use plain heads rather than print them on dark blue/black to match the cowl. Surely that cowl was created to be used on heads printed on dark colours?

I agree with Robianco we have no evidence these are real and given the circulation, incredibly poor printing and lack of sets they fit in with I think it is far more likely they are fake.
Deathstroke77 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Though it looks convincing, duplicates of figures from brands such as SY and Decool are beginning to really resemble LEGO's figures. LEGO needs to do something about these fake brands, some of my friends who've wanted rare figures such as Deadpool and the old Scarecrow have all been drawn into cheap duplicates that have ultimately broken after a few days. LEGO will start receiving complaints soon that 'their figures' are fragile when they are coming from rip-offs like the two I mention above
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) The amount of figures available is unexpected from bootlegs. For everyone to say they are real and for no one to provide proof that they are knock-offs (as in a box with the figures that is clearly not official from Lego), it would seem that these are real. I hope that, if they look this bad, it is because they are prototypes. Otherwise, I am really disappointed. As mentioned before by others, that head does not go with the modern cowl. The muscle print is outdated, there is no use of dual-molded boots, and the plastic wings do not look good. The mere existence of a debate as to whether or not these figures are real attests to their low quality. Edited November 4, 2015 by johnnyvgoode
deskp Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 They are fake. besides the obvious reasons already stated pages back. why would lego suddenly make 3 new(old) batman figs all with those plastic wings. The wings themselves all also are just recolored versions off itself.

The mere existence of a debate as to whether or not these figures are real attests to their low quality. Why would they make hundreds of prototypes? None of the parts or prints involve new techniques, so it shouldn't take this much testing. At this point, I don't see how they can be some kind of internally used prototype. They've got to be either weirdly bad real figures, or knockoffs that are trading on the mystery and rumors. I'm leaning heavily towards the latter.
Clone OPatra Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 What exactly, apart from the wings, do people find bad about the grey and dark blue Batman figure? The head is surely an incorrect one, as leaked figures often have. The muscles are an older style, true, but there's nothing inherently bad about that style. Just curious what people find wrong with it.

Just curious what people find wrong with it. I think the blue and grey one is easily the better of the two... even with the older muscle torso etc. I like that particular bat symbol too. I just find the approach to each of these 'proto' designs a bit odd... a lot of recycling of older designs. I don't think we've ever had changes this subtle to create a 'new figure' before. If I'd seen the grey and blue one first I might have thought it was legit... a little on the lazy side but legit nonetheless... even though the wings are something that don't sit right with me either. Do we really think they're phasing out the old hard plastic wings for a redesigned flexible plastic based on the Space wings? We've had leaks of figures before... but to a couple of people at the most and in small numbers that sell for a premium on eBay followed shortly after by the real thing. There just seems to be too many of these around. I'll be honest... the more and more I think about it the worse I feel about the possibility that these might be what get released. Put a black head with face print on the grey and blue one and I'll probably live with it (although I'd really want the new cape in dark blue soft fabric for it to replace the plastic wings) but the black one just seems utter rubbish as a new fig... just a poorly thought out figure.
