AFOL SF Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Today, Me and Adam sat ourselves in a LunchRoom, with Gatorade, and food, and Began our lists for pricing for 2008 sets, and Investigated the new Product Catalogue. :-) *y* I decided to call in sick today and went to the Lego store. Lucky me they already have their stock of the Green Grocer, so I closed my eyes when I signed the creditcard receipt. I feel happy though, being able to get a hold of the Green Grocer this early on. If only the Lego store would stock on the Air Mail Plane... I'm still looking for it. AFOL SF Quote
ExoBuilder Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Today was a long day. :-/ I woke up at 7am and I took a shower. After that, I headed out to my Uncle's house to help him move into his new home. I lifted heavy furniture for 10 hours straight. After that, I went to my friends house and we played some Gears of War! *y* Cog on! *sweet* Quote
Brickmaster Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 After normal school and such, I took a nap :-$ Got nice and rested up for the concert at an icebowling fest with my friend Nathan and his brother. Was a good show, we left after the second set because of all the obnoxious drunk people, but some of them were quite funny. :-$ Then we were walking back to the parking lot, a random big school bus filled with people stopped for us, opened its doors. We got on anyway. Well wherever it was going we're gonna be there :-D Ended up riding around for abit with the gang in there till it took the run back and we stopped it at the parking lot. Then drove back, and here I am. Back is sore, ears ring, but was a fun fun time, as always ;-) Quote
DarkYamiDragon Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Let's see.....today I went to school, despite the fact that my right arm is broken. Then, after school, I came home and had to help my dad clean out the garage, and that's hard with a broken arm. Then, I basically went to sleep for a few hours then got up and logged on to EB! *sweet* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Well I woke up, quite early for a Saturday funnily enough, got changed did 2 tons of homework, watched grand Prix qualifying (Go Lewis! *y* ) made a crappy lego blacktron MOC and ripped it apart, now I am on the PC writing this! Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Volunteered at the library, and watched Blazing Saddles. *y* Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 I went to work at the museum that foolishly employs me and attempted to be an island of calm in the chaos. Sadly I failed, and spent the rest of the day trying to control the crowds without the aid of teargas or anything other than a biro. Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 today i went to my local renissansse festival spent all day there got a finger amour ring a few pirate dubloons and a wooden sword :-$ heh i love those things *sweet* Tired/awsomeness ON while my body shuts off :-$ Quote
ExoBuilder Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 6 day review! Day 1 ( Saturday ): I didn't have much planned today, then I realized my friends were having a game night, that was awesome! *y* Day 2: Woke up, went to church. After church we all went to lunch for about an hour and a half. Then, I got to go help my uncle move in to his new house, such a fun time :-| Day 3: This is when the fun began! :-D First I had my friend over, we hung out and practiced for our next gig. Then later on we saw a move called "Penelope". Never, I say never see Penelope unless you're with some girls, it's the crappiest movie I've seen in a long time. I went with my girl though *wub* After the movie, we hung outside the theater for about 2 hours. One thing led to the other, me and my friend found ourselves dipping our heads into very cold water. Then I came home and talked to my girl some more! *wub* Day 4: We played softball for about 4 hours. After that we went to my friend Sarahs house and we had some spaghheti ( Spelling? ) Day 5: Two of my friends came over today, we hung out and walked in the rain for awhile. After, we had even more band practice. Later that night we went to the mall and do what we're known for, doing something stupid! :-D Day 6: Woke up early today, got on the computer and talked with a few friends today. Today was the day of our gig we've been practicing for. I finally left to go the Stone House ( Place of our gig and my youth group. ) I got to hang out with some friends, that was great. Then we finally got to start playing. We opened up with me and my friend and our instrumental we came up with, it was so much fun! Then we finished with two other songs, though we screwed the last song *n* After Stone House, most of us went to Ihop. Now I'm home sitting here on the computer! Spring Break on! *sweet* Quote
Lt. Veers Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Spring Break on! *sweet* Lucky. Mine dosen't start for another few weeks. Anyhoo, today I slept in (I had the day off), then woke up, played Empire At War, biked to Wal-Mart and got Anakins JSF, played a fast-paced game of tennis with my friends, played Battlefront 2 on my PSP, and now I am posting here. AgentRick Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I went to the West Keys, went to a Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, saw a cruise ship move out of port, and built a sand castle A very exciting day indeed! Quote
Zarkan Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Today I raked pine cones. Yeah, boring isn't it? :-P But, I'm getting paid for it, so that's good. :-) Quote
zero1312 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Made a BIG walk with my dog today and in the evening made a raclet (yummy). Quote

Today I did the normal for a sunday. I hope up, went to church. After church went to my relatives for Easter. After that I went to the movies and saw Horton hears a who. I didn't focus too much though, if you catch my drift. X-D Now I'm at home, I'll probaly do nothing the rest of the night. *sweet* Quote
ExoBuilder Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Car + Pole = Bad day. I thought you would have learned by now, Car+Lego= Bad. X-D Quote
AFOL SF Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Went to the Lego store after working halfday, trying my luck to finally get a hold of the Green Grocer set. Unfortunately, from the shipment the store received yesterday, all were sold the same day. Just my luck. Will try again next week. Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Today Walked home to my friends house, played good ole fashioned ping-pong,vs'd each other in rock band, did homework, then sung screamo music for like 30 mins *sing* ,now my voice is all scratchy Well good night EB Quote
Brickmaster Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I thought you would have learned by now, Car+Lego= Bad. As I turned onto a road (2 lane) a guy cut me off and went into my lane as I turned on and he sent me into a pole *wacko* He just drove off, probably not knowing what happened. No steam, no smoke, just alot of clunky noises, drove it to the nearest parking lot and called mom to tell her what happened, and then she picked me up. Got it towed here, now I get to work on unbending the fender and seeing that none of the vitals are gone. It's not a very nice car. Just kinda sucks, though its not my fault, totally, other than being there at the wrong place and time. Opens your eyes. Meh. Other than that both my last 2 days were great. I beat army of two with a freind in about 6 hours :-$ Great game. Quote
Brainbox Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 You know, I could post a summary of the last month. So, because I can, here we go: Southport, Manchester, PC problems, Pantomime, AS module results, new PC, Firewall problems, can't post, school, more Firewall problems, free Easter eggs, school, college, writing, laziness, sleeping, reading comics bought from Manchester, MOCing, MODing, still Firewall problems, Firewall problems sorted. As for today, I didn't really do anything. But my friend came over a little bit the other day after we'd been in school, because he was getting the train (the station's nearer my house than his), and he seemed quite impressed with all my Lego. To be honest, I don't think he'd realised I had as much as I do. Still, it's nice to see people take an interest in my hobby. I mean, it's taken long enough. Quote
VBBN Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) As I turned onto a road (2 lane) a guy cut me off and went into my lane as I turned on and he sent me into a pole *wacko* He just drove off, probably not knowing what happened. No steam, no smoke, just alot of clunky noises, drove it to the nearest parking lot and called mom to tell her what happened, and then she picked me up. Got it towed here, now I get to work on unbending the fender and seeing that none of the vitals are gone. It's not a very nice car. OMG! I saw someone like that yesterday! Then again, here it was icy roads, and that car flew into a sign on the freeway. *wacko* Now my firends, I will explain to you, my week. Thursday of last week, I woke up, and was packed, because me and my parents were going to cancun Mexico! So, we rented a Limo(expensive, but worth it) And flew down to Mexico. We went to the Ritz-Carlton, where we had amazing food and drinks(unlimited) for free. We stayded on the club level. The hotel was right on the Ocean. All of the hotels were. We went to a cooking class. Sadly it ended up costing 489.00 for the three of us. And guess what? We met a couple(man and woman, not sure if married). They were very nice. About 40s, 50s in age. Next easter we are flying down on a thursday, and so are they. The same day. The man(Lou) had a book that was being published next year. So, I can't wait to see them again next year! We have their e-mail. Oh, and they live in Pittsburg, Ohio. Then we flew home. My week in a nutshell. Edit: O. M. G. Our friend is in the news! Read this! Link. No wonder he vacations like us... (and I AM NOT KIDDING! He really is our friend! Edited March 28, 2008 by ~VBBN~ Quote
Zarkan Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Well, this morning I listened in horor as my mom told me that our computer's hard drive crashed. *sad* Fortunately, my dad keeps a backup of the entire hard drive. Unfortunately, he hadn't done for a couple weeks, and in the process I lost photos of a Bionicle creation I now have taken apart. *sing* Oh well, at least we got a new computer out of it - although I'm not totally sure about Windows Vista yet... I heard it has terible compatability. 8-| Quote
Alice Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Yes, I hear the same thing about vista. I bought a new computer about the time that everything was switching over and opted not to upgrade because I had heard such bad things about it. *wacko* Today, I went to work and counseled some addicts and alcoholics (fun stuff). Then, I went to target looking for some small Lego sets that I heard were on sale, but unfortunately found none. :-( Now, I'm just enjoying reading EB and listening to some music. I need to order a couple of sets that I've been wanting so maybe I'll do that later on tonight. I'm also currently in the process of learning MLCAD since I don't have a lot of Lego yet (YET!) so I'm going to work on that a bit too. It's a good life! X-D Quote
