Today (well, yesterday now, due to the time I'm posting this) I found out that I have a day off college tomorrow (today now) because of a UCU teachers strike. Good news. On top of that, the sun came out at lunchtime, despite the fact that rain had been forecast all day.

So not a bad day all told.

Oh, I see what you've done there.

It wasn't exactly the mark of subtlety was it?

Yesterday was my brother's birthday, I gave him a 15 dollar voucher and a pack of 10 lemonade cans. We didn't really do anything, but he had a great time. Now my birthday's coming up!

I almost got electrocuted/shocked focusing some lights for our school musical.

I roughed up my hands pulling a some-100 pound chandelier up pretty darn high.

It was all fun!

Lets see today I finished my homework for my Botany class and looked online how to get a new state drive license which I will hopefully do Friday between classes. And the best part was my PaB order arriving!

I went to an American Civil War Re-Enactment today. It was very cool. I enjoyed it! It portrayed a part of the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia.

*Puzzled look* That's a... slightly unusual birthday present isn't it?

Not that unusual surely?

He likes lemonade, and there was a really cheap bargain on a ten pack, so I bought him that and a fifteen dollar voucher.\

Today I worked on a top secret project scheduled for next early month, and went into town and bought the Final Grand Prix set. Good day overall, my birthday is tomorrow so be nice to me!

I watched 300 earlier with my dad and then went on my computer and tried to make some decals for one of my factions. A few failures later I came on here and got my validation e-mail resent for the 3rd time, this time I made a new e-mail just so it would work.

Fair enough, and at least it wasn't the main present.

Anyway, last night, we reperformed our panto at a school. It went really well, apart from my sound tech and I nearly burning our hands on a light, the glove we had to protect our hands nearly burning, a slight smell of electrical burning and... three lights blowing out!

But all the cast turned up, which is good as it looked a little dicy for a while.

Today, I finally visited the LEGO store in Oberhausen.

It was amazin, to see the UCS Millenium Falcon (and Grievous),

and Town Plan live, and in living color. :oh3:

But as always... So much to buy, and so little money. :sing:

However, the Pick-A-Brick-wall was a bit disappointing...

You´re from Essen and it was your FIRST time? :oh:

Well, yes - err - nothing.

Sad to say, but the constitution of the PaB is normal. :hmpf_bad:

I have been to an outdoor playground near Kevelaer. You will not know where this place is...

There were all sorts of tubes lying around to build a pipeline from the water tanks to an outlet.

After some time of thinking I came to a completely new idea:

CC style modular houses ON!

Painted my car purple, have been spending lot's of time with my best friend, and other friends, parties, and prom, have all been lately.

Lego wise, any free lego time have been on building the Amaranth's main body. Now we get into the real building, and man, is it dense, big, and technique / time / brick intensive.

Well, yes - err - nothing.

Well, it´s about 47 minutes away (using bus & train).

Okay, lame excuse.

Usually, I visit our local shops, and look for special offers.

Since I had much luck, I hadn´t enough money left to

buy anything at the LEGO store.

Therefore I would´ve only tortured myself, if I´ve gotten

there sooner (without money).

Finally recived (man I just don't get the spelling right) the last of my ebay orders (some 28 old grey castle walls  ) and have sorted my Legos a bit.

And I had some sick biking time in the evening^^ It was really crazy!

Living in the middle of the Pfälzer Wald (a really big Forest  ) there naturally are lots of tracks throughout the forest and now and then I try where one or the other is leading to.

Now I did so today and after some time the path really got messed up, all full of leaves, wood and stones and it was really hard to keep on top of my bike

The bad thing was that the way just didn't go anyway :sceptic:

BUT I thought there was some kind of old path leading down the hill again and I biked downhill. Well, maybe it was a path...but if, then about a thousand years ago  It was really mad and I had to get off the bike and walk it down to the next crossing part.

Unfortunately this took me so much time that it was almost dark by then :hmpf_bad: and that's really not good in the forest^^

But I got home alive and just before complete darkness at half past nine

I know, it's not really interesting but I thought I'd share it anyway

And I learned three lessons

1. Don't go biking too late

2. Don't believe everything you see really is what you want it to be

3. The Force is with me, always

:laugh::yoda:

Best regards, Benny
