Hinckley Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Today was not as eventful as yesterday. It started with a major whacking for min polare (my buddy) ras... I was awakened in the wee hours of morning by a noise. Ras, angry with me for kegging him in front of our friends was out for revenge by stealing my beloved boat. He could've made a clean getaway but he smelled that I had made fried chicken for dinner and couldn't resist a fridge raid. He made the mistake of putting down his blaster... So, I surprised him with a huge whack to the lower abdomen. He dropped the boat and lost the chicken he had just eaten... :-D :-D :-D No one messes with my boat! :-$ Oops! I sleep in my undies :-D EDIT: My weapon of choice here is a wizard staff from Armothe's BrickForge.com To drive the point home, I whacked him in the head with the fridge door a few times... Time to take out the trash... Vill du boka plats i en gipsvagga eller...Ras? >:-) Official Score Hinckley 3 Ras 1 EDIT: Thanks to Sir Dillon for pointing out the official score should be modified... Great thread copmike! mmmm, that's good tread! X-D Quote
Shadows Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Ok, first off, I think you knocked the, uh, cherries out of him. X-O Second, I have a song stuck in my head... Hues Corporation - Rock the BoatSo I'd like to know where, you got the notion said I'd like to know where, you got the notion to rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby rock the boat, don't tip the boat over rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby rock the boat! Someone will pay for this. >:-) *sing* Disco On! *sing* Quote

john cleese Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 today i sat on my rear and watched a number of intelectually stimulating sitcoms such as Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Ray, King of Queens, Yes Dear, and Fraiser. Then i came home and talked on a number of forums including this one all night. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 :-D These comics are very nice, Hinckley. What did you use to whack Ras in the second comic? Official Score Shouldn't Ras at least get one for shooting you? Quote
Hinckley Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 :-D These comics are very nice, Hinckley. What did you use to whack Ras in the second comic?Shouldn't Ras at least get one for shooting you? Yeah...good point. But I think I should get two points then for whacking him in the abdomen and then in the head with the fridge door... Thanks for reminding me SD. I meant to promote my buddy, Armothe! That whacking implement is a very cool wizard staff I just bought from EB member's store BrickForge.com. His stuff is great. If you haven't checked it out, check it out now! Plus he's a real nice guy too! *sweet* Quote
yellost Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 What??! No Icecube tray??! Where's the Icecube tray? X-O No no no no no, You must have lef it in the freezing-drawer... Yes, that must be it... ;-) well, today was my first day at work. I got a student job in a supermarket. And the manager just left me in the middle of it, alone... So I had no idea what to do... And then someone who looked like a quality-service survey guy, asked me lots of questions about products we were selling and such and I didn't have a clue how to help him at all since I have no idea where is what in the shop... Somehow, I don't think the shop will get a good feedback out of this... :-/ Still, I do like the job... Not sure I could do that all my life but for now I rather enjoy the activity... (Well, it is better than just sitting all day long on a chair...) Quote
Sir Dillon Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Yeah...good point. But I think I should get two points then for whacking him in the abdomen and then in the head with the fridge door... Okay, that sounds fair enough. ;-) Thanks for reminding me SD. I meant to promote my buddy, Armothe! CopMike Posted August 31, 2007 Author Posted August 31, 2007 Today I did my last shift at my policestation before starting a new policework on monday. I made hamburgers with a lot of choices of topping and had Cherry Coke & Dr Pepper as drinks! Carpe diem On copmike Quote
Brainbox Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Today I had the longest panto rehersal ever, then the actual performance. I went really well, the audience were all good sports, the 'Comedy Decorating Scene' was hilarious, as were Widow Twanky (the ol' panto dame) and the 'secret scene' that the cast (myself included) didn't really know about. And it was all fine from a tech perspective. Tomorrow is an afternoon performance. Quote
yellost Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Third day at work and I already managed to screw up the supply schedule... My boss asked me to put a huge box of supply on the shelf (and I mean HUGE) But I misunderstood her and I took the wrong one :-/ ... By the time she realised it, I was already finished, so I spent the second half of the day putting everything back and now we're a full day off schedule... Monday's gonna be hectic, I can tell *wacko* Today I did my last shift at my policestation before starting a new policework on monday.I made hamburgers with a lot of choices of topping and had Cherry Coke & Dr Pepper as drinks! Carpe diem On copmike mmmmh, Dr Peppeeeeeeeer (Homer mode ON) I love that... Too bad I was probably the only Belgian who did, since they stopped selling any after here a few years... Shadows Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Slept. I slept all day. What does that mean to you? I have posting energy! I'm a posting fool when I've slept! (actually, I'm a posting fool when I haven't slept, when I have slept I almost make sense) Quote
lego.ryan Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Today I joined Eurobricks, and tore apart my HP-theme stuff (4757 and 5378) and all 48 of my Harry Potter minifigs, in order to start making POTC (*wub*) stuff. ;-) Quote
Corvus Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 (edited) Today I have been plotting (and building) a mini-comedy that will go in the whack-a-fig final thread, featuring Ras 74, his title, and Hinckley being too curious for his own good. Anyone interested yet? Edited September 2, 2007 by Mr. Mandalorian Quote

Brainbox Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Panto-pantomime? I thought it was obvious, but yeah panto is pantomime. It might be a British slang thing. Yesterday's was less good than Friday night's. The audience were less enthusiastic, so it just didn't feel quite as good. Although there was one scene (the cave scene) where Twanky was sat so close to the edge of the handy-little-bench that when the wolf lept up, the bench flew up in the air, and Twanky rolled of the other end. That shouldn't have happened but it was funny nonetheless. Today I'm nipping into town, as I've just realised I don't have quite as much paper sa I thought for my first day at College tomorrow. Quote
