Wow that looks like fun. The second picture looks like Halo or something.

So did you win?

I have always wanted to go paint balling, we have a few in our area just never gone, was this work related or just a group of mates?

as for what i have done today, so far stayed in bed until 2pm (feeling sick) and i plan on finishing my mystery castle vig and playing Fallout tactics

regards Cpt. PB

So did you win?

I did have a majority of wins. My team always wins capture the flag. But, I lost track of actual wins since we switch teams every time. The best course had nothing on it but some palettes. Our ref took us to a course that was next to a burnt out car lot course and we were all geeked out about the burnt out cars and he pointed out this crappy little overgrown field with some crates and palettes and we were a bit more than disappointed that it was our course. But, it was my favorite course! I'm scratched up from crawling through the weeds but it really kind of separated the hardcore from the rest. I got killed in both games we played there but my team won both rounds. I'm crazy about paintball. It's probably the coolest tough guy recreation and with my Napoleon complex, it really makes me feel taller.

It was an excellent course though. Those of you in the states in the midwest, check out CPX sports in Joliet, IL. They have a ghost town, a bombed out cathedral, cool HALO buses, the aforementioned burnt out car lot (which you can see in the second picture), a pretty great capture the flag course and much much more. I am not a spambot!

Today we had our annual paintball outing with the most participants we've had yet at 42 (38 or so are in the picture...one guy left after he got shot in the neck at point blank range-accidentally-in the second round. "Too much fun for me," he said...)

Hey, I dont blame him, if it was really piont blank to the neck. But syaing "too much fun" is pushing it. He did the impossible.

Anyways, looks like you had a lot of fun! I went paintballing with a few fiends last week, and it was a blast! One kid sniped the shit outta me while hiding in a tree. Me and a friend were doing the back-to-back thing, where we stood back-to-back and spun around while shooting for our lives! Unfortunately, I got shot right under the helmet and above the armor, so the paintball hit my neck/chest. Ouch. Air soft wars are fun, too. :sweet:

He was bleeding and junk so I don't blame him either.

Fiends? It would be hard to play with fiends. Where did you find the fiends?

That must've been embarrassing. I hope you had a change of clothes...

I've never seen that strategy used. I'm not sure it would ever work... Airsoft I haven't looked into...yet...

Some guys have all the luck!

Most education in the UK finishes about 1/3 way through July :cry_sad::laugh:

I break up for summer holidays on the 18th of July....only a few days to go!

Not much happened yesterday, although I did build a helicopter out of Lego which I am proud of!

Last week I did a new hobby of mine. I'm not telling what is, though  .

I went to the beach yesterday.

And I went shopping today. A failed search for a LEGO item at TRU  . I got a new pair of shoes, though :classic:

Moved more things outta the house to the storage facility in preparation for... gulp... the big move. :cry_sad:

My dad isn't just a packrat- he's a packrat of really heavy stuff. We moved about 20 beer barrels (empty  ), 14 lottertub plates, a ski-chairlift, and a bunch of other stuff out from under the deck... ugh.

2: Friends... I really gotta work on those typos.

3: Nope, but I used my fiends friends shower.

4: The back-toback thing only works in movies, don't try it :laugh:.

Spent way to much time on eurobricks (same thing for the past 1.5 weeks, actually). I've been temporarily reassigned for 3 weeks to cover for a co-worker who is away. I've been excused from my other work, and basically am locked in an office all day, waiting for work that rarely materializes. Not a terrible fate, but it would be much better if work computers had msPaint so I could resize all my misposted pictures.

1.5 weeks down, 1.5 weeks to go.

I went to Chessington world of Adventures today, it was fun, although I was almost sick on one of the roller coasters! Let just say that sharp turns and double bacon with cheese burgers don't mix well....

Went to Manchester yesterday with my dad, who was off work because the unions are striking. Yep, his colleagues picketed the town hall, he went shopping. Sounds fair to me! Anyway, so I went shopping, and blew a load of money. I ended up buying TF: Spotlights Vol.2, a Fantastic Four '4' t-shirt, a Transformers Soundwave t-shirt, BTAS Vol.2 (on offer, only £10), Mighty Muggs The Thing, Marvel Minimates Thor and Loki, DCU #0 and Final Crisis: Requiem.

So today, I've been lounging around at home, saving money.

I cut my hand trying to open a stuck window. The glass suddenly broke, AND I got a somewhat large piece stuck in there. i had a ice-pack on my right hand for an hour. :cry_sad:

Ouch! I hope it doesn't impede your Lego building ability. :sadnew:

Yesterday I had to visit relatives and friends all the way down in Southampton who I barely know, which was a bore-fest. :hmpf:

:sadnew: Did you buy any Lego? Southampton is very good for a range of Lego, if you know where to look!

Lounged around yesterday, and right now I really should be getting ready to go to the primary school I volunteer at this afternoon. But instead I'm on here!

I know! Unfortunately I did not buy any Lego. Shame really as I could have made a boring visit slightly more interesting. :hmpf_bad:

And yes, it is always boring! I only go down their 2/3 times a year so I can't complain really. :sceptic:

Whenever we go down to my grandparents, all the family who are at home feel the need to descend on the house and see us... at the same time (seriously, that's like 15 people). I'm not particularly good with large numbers of people, especially if I don;t know them very well. We're usually only there for one night, so we end up coming back the day after hardly having spoken to my grandparents. :hmpf_bad:

Same! This was my uncle's 70th birthday party, yet so many people came (30-40), I barely spoke to my uncle! We worked out the combined age of everyone their was about 2500. It was more like a SAGA outing.

Luckily my grandparents live 5 minutes down the road so we visit them often.

Sadly, I can't do that. They live about 2 or 3 hours away. Hence why everyone comes round when we're there, as we don't see them all too often. Which means I feel uncomfortable every time we're there.

Yeah my auntie lives a 2-3 hour drive away aswell, but this year she came, so no borefest for me. I haven't did anything but I am building my 7676.

:sceptic: It's even worse when they come here! My Lego is destroyed by pesky Nephews and curious uncles!

What did I do today? Well.....I Did some chores round at my grandparents house to get some more money to spend on Lego! (It's funny how things seem to all tie in! )
