Bain then looks out of the entrance door and there are no signs of any Star Elves at the moment. She also realises that the sun is already out and indeed, it is daytime (day 1). Bain approaches the four doors in the chamber and turns to the Heroes,

"Shall we, Heroes?"

"After hearing what the elves had said, maybe you aren't the type of person you claim to be. Maybe the elves are right... about everything. I expect that you keep your word and help us get the Brown Nekrastone after we get Eckmar. After that, I'm through with you, savage."

Mhinak turns to the party.

"We still have to meet the queen otherwise we're painting a larger target on our backs. If you guys won't meet the queen, then I will myself. But we have to get the hell out of here first."

"You are gullible and stupid, dwarf. Bain has helped us and the elves have done nothing but stand in our way."

Miderun glared down at the corpses of the Star Elves, wiping some accumulated blood off of her arm.

"We should take the second door. It says 'you do not want to be in here', but I think it is a trick. At least these elves finally stood and fought us."

Kiray hands Miderun a potion from her inventory"Thanks for that heal." Kiray's eyes drift towards the pauldrons as she nods at Miderun's remarks to Mhinak.

"Of course, an Orc wouldn't know. No shocker there. You are simply just another savage, a feral being. I can tell you have no respect for me, especially since we set foot here. I will speak to the queen, even if I must go alone. These Fenarians have been shunned because they are too power hungry. They chose their fate long ago. Let the results do the talking."

"Inki, how about we meet the queen ourselves, what say you?"

OoC: I'd really like the Vest of Faded Trials... but for Boomingham. I feel a little skeevy about that, though - if anyone would prefer they get it in their loot, I'd happily pay them for it from Boomingham. And if anyone in the quest has their heart absolutely set on it, that's okay too - it should go to someone here over someone outside the quest.

Bobby watches the loot intently, but doesn't really have a preference as to what he gets. "Yo, this is kind of effed at this point. I think those elves were making some pretty good points. But like, it's too late. We gotta grab what's his face, and Polly." Bobby looks at Miderun earnestly. "Don't forget to save Polly."

Mhinak overhears Bobby and he also remembers Toren, Lyrion and Hung. A sadness overcame Mhinak and you can kind of see it in his face. He wasn't sure if they were safe or still alive, for that matter.

"Did Narie say where Polly was? I only recall her saying that Polly was captured by Latte. We must check the cells, maybe she's here!"

"Did Narie say where Polly was? I only recall her saying that Polly was captured by Latte. We must check the cells, maybe she's here!"

"And yet you would ally with them. Decide your mind, or we will for you."

"You think I'm intimidated by the likes of you? BWAHAHAHAHA! Elnath, Polly, Lyrion, and Hung are great people, friends. I would die to save them and Krimwood. So yeah, I will help them. I'm just about done with Bain and her mischief!" Mhinak says angrily. "You know what I find ironic? You. You seem to hate the elves and depict them as tyrants, if you will, yet you seem to be acting like one yourself, telling me I have no place as a hero. You are a savage, a murderer. You find joy in killing. What makes you a hero and not a psycho?"

What makes us so different from our brothers the Alpeith and why do you seem more inclined to trust them than me, a member of your own order, who happens to have been bad-mouthed on account of his race? These star elves have been spoon fed proporganda since birth, telling them of the heresy of the Fenarains and the apparent arocities they have commited. I do not claim that what they say is entirely wrong, but only that it is part of a larger truth and I would prefer it if you didn't fall into the trap of taking their honeyed words at surface value"

"All this quest you have ben a loose cannon master Minhak" continues Na'im, every word of his emphasised like a hammer blow "First with the guardians and now here with the star elves. It is high time you chose where your loyalties stand-with the party, or with the enemy Latte Oswain who has already shown his true colours."

Na'im then goses round and checks if any of the star elves are still alive and if any are, Na'im expends ether healing them untill their condition stabilises

Na'im feels a rare rush of gratitude towards Miderun "...Thank you for defending my people Lady Miderun" he says uncertinaly with a small bow "...It is true we Fenari have always counted the Orcs among our friends. Indeed Clan Irlaz...or what was clan Irlaz in those days-fought alongside our warriors in the schism, but now because we are no longer fair and graceful like the star elves I fear many see us as the villians. Now on with the division of loot?" says Na'im raising an eyebrow, begining to sound like his old self once more

"Because master Mihnak, Lady Miderun has a job and a contract and she sticks with it-something you seem incapable of doing youself." says Na'im cooly. He pauses for a second and cleans his spectacles absentmindedly on a spotless hankerchief he produces from his pocket "I do not understand you these days master Mihnak. Back in Eubric with the red asassains buisness, you behaved rationally but now you seem pardoxially attached to a cause you have only recently learnt existed, and people you have only just met-why?"

After all, he's got the right idea about saving Krimwood. You and Miderun clearly don't because if you wanted to, you would have spoken to them with me. I will speak to the queen and make amends with the Star Elf people."

Mhinak turns to Elnath.

"Elnath, you seem to be the one I can trust the most here. As a friend, I think you should give the artifacts to the Star Elves. I do agree with that they aren't capable of being in control of such power. They've hurt themselves once and it shouldn't happen again. It's up to you though but I think doing that is in our best interest otherwise more people may get hurt. If the queen finds out you gave the artifacts to the Fenarians, Polly, Lyrion, and Hung may be in grave danger."

"No I do not understand why you sympathise with the star elves master Mihnak-nothing I have said or learnt while here has made me want to defend Krimwood, and you have yet to give me a concrete reason for why you try to protect it. But you speak of impartiality Master Mihnak, and you preach friendship between the satr elves and the Fenarians, but nothing you have done makes me think of balence. Always it was the star elves and the gaurdians and never ever the Fenarians-when you have lived under the tyranny of generations of Alpeith rule, diligently waiting for the chance for your champion to ascend ot the throne, only then to be driven underground, fending off encroaching monsters every other week and going for days without food, when you have seen your friends under the control of a demonic puppeter and have had to strike them down, then and only then will you be in a position to judge my prople and perhaps then you will not look upon them so harshly." Na'im sighs "Oswain attacked you in cold blood master Mihnak, just because you were a foreigner-or have you forgotten already? He is unstable and untrustworthy, yet still you seek to side with him. Good luck I say, for I do not believe he will look upon you well if you turn up looking to be recuited into his next genocidal rampage!" says Na'im with a forced laugh

Na'im smile wryly " 'Master' is a sign of courtesy and respect Mihnak and is as much part of my tounge as Bobby's mannerisms are part of his. In days gone by, most all elves, Alpeith or Fenari, were as cultured and spoke as thus, but I am one of the few Fenari who can remember the days before the schism, and alas it seems millenia of isolation have led to a degradation in language among both my people and the Alpeith."

He wishes to side with Oswain,and it seems clear to me we do not need the General or any of his forces geting any stronger-they nearly destroyed us here! Oswian's hostility changes everyhing-he commands respect, even fear amongst both the star elves and the gaurdians, and whatever our personal motivations we cannot consider letting the artefacts end up in the hands of one of our sworn enemies-Lady Miderun, you have always seemed reasonable, and Master Germ my old friend, surely you have your head in the right place-fair lady Bain you too have the wisdom of thousands of years of experiecne-will you not back me up here?"

Kiray mutters some swears under her breath. She couldn't remember the last time party members argued like this. She slides up to Bobby and whispers "May as well sneak out of here and do it all ourselves at this rate."

Got something to say. She is right lets move out. But then grabs one of the "Spesialian Helmets" and puts it on. But some how still keeping his head in the shadows not caring if he gets any thing else.

OoC: I know it is not "cool" to do that but I thought CMP would of distribute the loot out all ready. i guess Miderun could just ask for the "helmet" back if she wants.

I'm just about done with Bain and her mischief!" Mhinak says angrily. "You know what I find ironic? You. You seem to hate the elves and depict them as tyrants, if you will, yet you seem to be acting like one yourself, telling me I have no place as a hero. You are a savage, a murderer. Like, get back Polly and Bain's love, then grab that brown nekrastone like we can't kill a forest, no duh, and then we gotta figure out the blue nekrastone. I really think we should just take it home, to be real. Like, keep the balance - the Star Elves get one, and the Fenerians one, and the forest one, and then those downstairs monster dudes get one, but like, a prison isn't the right place to say all that and fight about it, you dig?"

"Elnath, you seem to be the one I can trust the most here. As a friend, I think you should give the artifacts to the Star Elves. I do agree with that they aren't capable of being in control of such power. They've hurt themselves once and it shouldn't happen again. It's up to you though but I think doing that is in our best interest otherwise more people may get hurt. Bain rolls her eyes, "I guess you will still be struggling taking down every single guard if not for my skills and all I get in return are baseless accusations." Bain fold her arms in annoyance.

Na'im rasies the Nimbus deluxe and swishes it through the air, admiring its speed and the lightness of its grip "This truly is a finely balenced weapon indeed" he says grudgingly and walks over to Major El-Aquist's body "This one is for you major-perhaps I shall kill your master with it, hmm?" Na'im chuckles and raps the broomstick on the majors helm

Na'im makes a sound of exasperation "This is war master Mihnak-one man's hero is another mans villian! How difficult is it to get that into your head?! I see no reason to view the star elves as those in the right and the Fenarians as those in the wrong. Certinaly both sides have done things wrong but there is a time to remain impartial and that time is now! Why, if we had found Narie or Hysmeith strug up back in Krimwood would we be having this argument? I think not. You are just too blinded by your supposed 'great ethics' that lead you to want to save the forest!" Na'im sighs "When we start having discussions like this, and you begin to forget your reasons for coming to Spelesia in the first place, that is when to realise that this whole quest was a bad idea from the start" he muses to himself
