Elnath tightens his eyebrows at Miderun, Kiray and Na'im, picks up the Brown Nekrastone, briefly glancing at the rest of the party before placing the Brown Nekrastone into the hands of Zeulord,

"This is far from what I had expected from Heroes, I thought the answer is clear enough, but I am not surprised there is a difference in opinions. Since at least half of you had the same intentions, I guess that is enough."

Zeulord closes his fists and turns around and marches back to Krimwood, with the other Guardians, back facing the Heroes, Zeulord utters as he moves,

"ONE ADVICE FOR THOSE WHO THINK THEY CAN TAKE ON THE WORLD ALONE, THINK AGAIN."

Marx turns back similarly, a stern look on his face,

"GET OUT OF OUR SIGHT. THE MERE SIGHT OF YOU BUNCH OF UNGRATEFUL SKUNKS MAKE ME THROW UP. TO THINK YOU CAN KILL OFF THESE SNAKES IN RECORD TIME. BRAG ALL YOU WANT WHEN YOU RETURN TO YOUR OWN- I KILLED A GIANT DEMON AND HIS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL SIDE KICK NAGA."

Maiora raises her arms and summons a gentle breeze at Elnath, Bobby, Goliath and Germ and the power of restoration brings them back to full health and restored their bags to where they were before the final battle.

"Thank you."

With that the Guardians marches off the scene.

Oswain continues to eye furiously at Elnath and the Blue Nekratsone, the Star Elven army continues to stand vigilant at the opposing Fenarian Royal army. Oswain speaks in a very matter of fact manner,

"Bring the Blue Nekrastone to the city of Valasabhad, Sorcerer. My army will escort you there so there will be no deviation from your journey. You are already late."

Directing his voice at Lord Angmar,

"Crush that thought right now. The Blue Nekrastone comes with us."

Eckmar quickly kneels before Lord Angmar,

"My Lord, this is not our fight. We have already lost many of our brothers."

Lord Fenari rolls his eyes at Oswain and marches back to Fenario,

"I have eyes on my back, golden boy. I know what you are thinking. I am always watching."

Cocking his head at the party as Lord Fenari makes his way back,

"I am not expecting the Blue Nekrastone to come to my possession just then, doesn't mean I will give up at any potential opportunity to get my hands on it. But your responses are revealing of who you are, your intentions and your motives. Least to say, it was a test to see who I can fully trust. Nevertheless, I am disappointed at how you've repaid the kind hospitality I have graced upon all of you. Except for, Na'im, even though your voice isn't appreciated amongst your peers, I can totally feel you. You will have a place in the Council where the leaders of the various clans come together. Since you have made quite a name for yourself in Fenario by attempting to...... but you have my word that your voice will be heard in my court. The doors of Fenario will open for you, Na'im, anytime."

Elnath bows at the Star elf general, in preservation and also not having much of a choice in front of the entire Star Elf army.

"I will deliver the Blue Nekrastone and the Royal Seal back to its rightful owners."

Elnath turns to the party, somewhat downtrodden by Toren's betrayal.

"One last stretch Heroes, this is what we are here for, isn't it? And I have not forgotten Lyrion and Hung."

"Ah Lord Angmar, your offer gladdens my heart, truly it does, but I am afraid I must decline…I was once told, long ago, that real power does not lie on the shoulders of those who are bound down upon thrones and offices of power. Make of that what you will…besides I doubt I have the patience for sitting around debating tables for hours on end, discussing grain shortages and the like, but I hope you will still consider me a close friend and ally of Fenario if you ever come to making any…important decisions surrounding Fenario in the future...My lord." Na'im says with a small smile, that gives nothing away

"And if I ever grow tired of the life of a mercenary, then-" Na’ims voice cracks for a moment "-then I will take solace in the fact that there is always a place waiting for me in Fenario…my home." After everything he had been through, he had never expected to be forgiven for all the chaos and destruction he had caused that last fatal night in Fenario when he was forced into exile, but this seemed to be the closest thing he would ever get to a revoking of his banishment-it seemed almost too good to be true-but he could not accept. He was not Na'im the corrupt cleric, nor Na'im the vindictator any more, but a hero now whatever that may mean.

He may have been imagining it but he swore he heard the Red angel's voice murmuring its approval in his head Good, there is still hope in you yet Na'im Thamir-you have shown yourself able to turn down power in its many forms, and this was not your place, nor your time-together Na'im we will do great things

"Is this goodbye then master Eckmar? Na'im asks extending a hand "Keep up the good fight old friend, and though I may be a recognised cleric no more, but I can still wish all the blessings and happiness on you and Lady Bain."

Na'im claps his hands "Well, It has taken us a fair while to reach this piont has it not master Van Cleef? We seem to have gone full circle-first we fought the star elves bitterly, now we are walking right into their outstretched arms!" Na'im sighs "I suppose someone must make sure those greedy star elves do not take more from you than is required." Na'im says gloomily "I will follow you to the end Master Van Cleef."

Na'im breaths deeply "One last stretch indeed master Van Cleef-I just hope you have not forgotten the payment you promised us at the start of the quest-most other mercenaries would be demanding hazard pay by now, since this quest has not exactly followed the path I would desire." Na'im says casually, but with a hint of bitterness in his voice

But yes, the end is in sight now-only into the den of the beast and out the other side."

Miderun rolls her eyes and cast a glare at Elnath as they ignored her plea for some kind of compromise and handed over the Brown Nekrastone.

Elnath turns to the party, somewhat downtrodden by Toren's betrayal.

"Fine. Let us see if their queen is better than their attack dog."

Glad to hear you can go back home. That's righteous." He exhales, thinking of the pretty ladies who had saved them from Latte so long ago. They had been Star Elves. So that was at least one good thing about going to the city... "Like everyone is saying, may as well like finish this up and what not, you dig? So I guess we're with ya."

We are not your blind followers, after all like miss Polly and-" Na'im stops himself from bringing the wereraccons name into the debate "-the Lannisters but your allies and bodygaurds."

"By now we all know how divided opinions are amongst yourselves." Elnath shrugs, "And not to forget personal interests that are behind those. I came here with the intention of returning the artefacts to the Star Elves, but I decided to keep an open mind considering how Heroes may have more worldly experience than I do. And after all the drama, hate and anger over the Brown Nekrastone, I believe we are left with no other choice than to return the Blue Nekrastone to the Star Elves. I get it that you Heroes are known to be invincible, but that doesn't mean you all won't be defeated by a stronger opponent, such as the Star Elves. In addition, we are about to meet the Queen of the Star Elves, I can't stop you from being opinionated, but I wish to get out of here alive and whole, with Polly and the Lannisters"

General Oswain continues to hold his nose high in the air, turns around and rides off in another direction.

The Heroes, left alone surrounded in the midst of a massive Star Elf army, suddenly felt shields pressing on their backs and sides as the party is being shuffled quickly to the city of Valasabhad. The speed at which the Star Elf army marches on double time is astounding fast, faster than any of the Heroes or the party have experienced before. By the time they reached Valasabhad, they find themselves drained and fatigued.

There at the entrance of Valasabhad, the Heroes notice two familiar figures.

"Just in time, Heroes." Hisime turns and nods at Narie, and Narie, with a flick of her fingers, opens a portal in front of the Heroes. Through it the Heroes could see the opposite side, presumably the inner architecture of the Star Elf Palace.

"The magic of the dome does not normally allow foreigners to enter the Sealed Capital. However, Her Majesty has graciously permitted to grant you an audience, through a magic portal."

One by one the Heroes step through the portal and as the last member of the party crosses the portal, it disappears almost immediately, leaving the party alone in a long and empty room. At the far end of which is a throne and sitting on it, the Queen of Spesialia. The Queen stands up and opens her arms wide,

Elnath quickly goes down on both of his knees, and turns to look at the Heroes expectantly,

"Forgive us for our intrusion to your territories. We are mere humble travellers and adventure seekers."

Miderun appears mildly confused when everyone starts bowing and nodding to the queen. A bizarre custom, she thought, to try and appear subservient and appeasing. The lack of strength worried her, so she handed Na'im a Grand Tonic, hoping to get her message across clear enough.

"So, you are queen here. Ir droog akh keld. I will stand here, your attack dog has given us little reason to trust the Grauzmyro - that is, your people." She shot a glare at Latte, then looked back at the queen. "Where are Hung and Lyrion?"

Na'im says with a smug smile

"And Lord Fenari...I am sorry about your son...I fear he was lost in the lost path along with the sorcerer Wyeth, after a cave in. I do not claim to have known him well, but you have my sympathies." Na'im says bowing his head respectfully

Eckmar takes Na'im's hand and pats Na'im on his back,

Naim returns Eckmar's handshake, his expression pleasent enough but he flares with anger inside. Was it his doom to always be considered righteous, whenever he tried his hardest not to be? He abhorred being righteous! Acting righteous alaways seemed to give people the impression you were some kind of hero and if you could not dleiver on that, people would always grow hurt and ask why. Much better to act cynical and to surprise people with the odd act of kindness-to keep then guessing as it were

Naim manages a stiff bow, more of a nod reallly, his smile obviously forced, even for a man experienced in hiding his emotions "What master Van Cleef means to say is that he wishes to speak with you, while we heroes of Heroica, are but his bodyguards, here to see that protocol is observed and to ensure his safety, in territory that may or may not be hostile, given that we have hardly got off on the right foot with your servant, General Oswain." Na'im interjects his voice dripping with unpleasentness

Na'im accepts Miderun's tonic, quickly drinks it, and steps forward as the Queen requests, then turns his back on her, and heals the party to full health, in the most open expression of defiance he dared to muster in front of the queen

Are you blind? Holding out the stealth suit. Why are you thinking I am wearing this? And even if I was this looks gender neutral to me. But it sounds like you want me to wear this. As he put the "suit" on he said: This thing is tight. I need to stretch it out.
