WesternOutlaw Posted September 2, 2007 Author Posted September 2, 2007 Excellent job on the acting of all the characters. I really like the signature change of Frank Mason, the 1st Mate, as well. This sort of thing really adds to the story. I want to keep the chapters pretty short to eliminate huge threads that some of you will have to go back and read. In regard to this 1st chapter, all but two of you had an opportunity to introduce yourself and provide one or more responses. I think this was excellent and enough to get the intros complete. This is why I ended the chapter. For the next few parts, these will be open at least a day or two (perhaps even longer) to give everyone on different time zones a chance to participate. This thread will also provide a great place to discuss the story and answer questions. We'll keep it going. Hope you are all enjoying the story and the acting of one another. Let's keep it on track and have fun with it. Starwars4J: you still have your old mystery avatar. Oh, and I asked XWY to not change the titles. Sounds like many of you do not want to do this. The sigs are great. Quote
Scouty Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Am I too late to join? Because, if there's still a slot open, I would like to. EDIT: Oh, :-( .........too late. Quote
iamded Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Sounds cool. I'll be following this story, and waiting for the next mystery. I'm just disappointed I missed out on this one. Oh well, I'll just have to wait. :-| :-P Quote
Sir Dillon Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Aww. :'-( I didn't even get to say any 'famous last words'. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. ;-) Quote
Hinckley Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Aww. :'-( I didn't even get to say any 'famous last words'. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. ;-) :'-( I'm really going to miss you. That was actually pretty freaky to see you turn up dead... Quote

Shadows Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 The story has become almost touching. Actually, there seems to be a lot of touching going on at this point :-P I especially like the Love Boat angle, though I miss the appropriate guest appearances. Next week, tune in for a very special episode featuring Dorothy Malone, Virginia Mayo, Lloyd Nolan and Soupy Sales! *slosh* Oh crap, it's like all of these threads are haunted! *runs like hell* *skull* Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 Next week, tune in for a very special episode featuring Dorothy Malone, Virginia Mayo, Lloyd Nolan and Soupy Sales! Soupt Sales! Good one :-D . I hate to admit it, but I was actually a Love Boat fan when I was a kid. I loved watching the show, then later watching Fantasy Island (I have a sneaky suspision that Hink was a fan of the show as well). He just knows too much about the actors and the stories! Don't you all think he makes an entertaining captain? Growing up in the 80s was fun! Quote

Don't you all think he makes an entertaining captain? Growing up in the 80s was fun! You can't have one without the other, that's for sure. It'd be like watching Knight Rider and not the A-Team. Nothing beats 80's TV. Remington Steele, Moonlighting, Hunter, MacGyver (you need him on this cruise, he'd have already fixed the engine with a paperclip, 3 pieces of old gum, and a ball point pen), so many good shows. Thankfully, most of them are on dvd. Well, not thankfully for my wallet, but you know how that goes ... Quote
