Hi again almost finished this MOC. Lots of wiring but lots of space to store it!! I have a question about the instructions. Were any changes made from the original file? Just wondering...I checked the size of the download from Bricksafe and it is a different size than the original that I am using. I decided that I am going to hang on to this MOC for now but I am going to modify the batteries to make a large pack that can easily be removed. Right now battery changes are a bit of a headache.

Is it powered with S-brick? Can you post a link to the gallery?

This is probably my favourite third-party MOC out there - and I can't thank you enough for taking the time and effort to make the instructions and providing them for free.

Hello! I've filmed a short review of this MOC:

Great video. I'm famous!

By the way, I displayed this model at BrickCAN in Vancouver, Canada and it was very popular. This is a very big logging area so many people recognized what the model was and at least one person told me they had operated the real machine.

That's cool! Do you have any photos?

Thanks again for this update...this MOC is my favorite one and I am thinking of some ways to improve it with rechargeable batteries and a proper counterweight. The Sbrick is the way to go with this Moc. Thanks again!

Have recently completed this beast - As mentioned in a previous post - I used SBrick for the control - 1 in the crawler base for the drive and levelling system and 2 in the superstructure for all other functions.

Here are some pics of the wiring, I went to great effort to hide the wiring in the boom and to make it tidy within the bodywork. I have built an SBrick interface using an iPad and it works fantastically.

I shall post better and more detailed photos shortly - just waiting on some custom stickers to complete the build.

PS I used all new parts for this build, including the micromotors - ouch!
