Staslegomaster Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Such a detailed creation! You are very diligent and imaginative!!! What really inspired you to create the set? When I see an unusual set, I always follow both the creation and the creator. And I like sets with a story behind them. Quote

What really inspired you to create the set? When I see an unusual set, I always follow both the creation and the creator. And I like sets with a story behind them. Thanks a lot my friend! Nothing too fancy regarding the inspiration of the moc. I just made some initial thoughts regarding the main structures and the river and all went smooth as I had planned. Quote
LittleJohn Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Truly astounding build :wub_drool: The sheer size is impressive, but what really stuns me is the amount of detail you packed in First off, the overall layout is beautiful, with the way it steps up and to the fortress, which towers above everything around it. Next, the craftsman's house: I love the colorscheme you used for this, and the pile of stuff outside is a great touch Very creative smoke with the droid arms as well. Then we have the gatehouse and wall: The use of chairs is brilliant, and the way you arranged the shields looks excellent I also really like the covered bridge; it's not something we see very often On to the barracks: The wall texturing is fabulous here, (and everywhere else, too ) but what really stands out to me is the interior. The piece usage for the stairs is absolutely brilliant, as are the windows I love all the action going on in the courtyard too, and the pile of supplies is a great touch. And last, but not least, the fortress itself: The exterior is gorgeous, with all the windows and the way it steps back a little each level, not to mention the crane on top. But the interior is what really blows me away, with it's massive pillars and cheese slope floor. The spiraling staircase, micro scale version of the build, and various furniture designs all look amazing too Amazing work, Gunman, definitely one of the best castle MOCs ever Quote
Gunman Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 Thanks a lot for your great comment LittleJohn.. Really appreciated! Quote
Schreeuwwitje Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Wow, came across this MOC as a guest a few days ago and my head exploded. After the explosion I fell into despair on how to ever build something as amazing as this! Superb job! Quote

Th3_ES Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Very, very amazing. The detail work of the walls, I can't describe how much I like them. How many bricks did you use? And how long took the planing for this MOC? Quote
Gunman Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 (edited) Wow, came across this MOC as a guest a few days ago and my head exploded. After the explosion I fell into despair on how to ever build something as amazing as this! Superb job! Thanks a lot for your kind words my friend... We all start small and we go bigger by gathering stock, nothing too hard to accomplish. Go for it :) Wow, so much going on here, not sure what to say. This is absolutely gorgeous! Great job! thanks a lot Full Plate! simply breathtaking thankss dude!! Very, very amazing. The detail work of the walls, I can't describe how much I like them. How many bricks did you use? And how long took the planing for this MOC? Thanks a lot my friend...! The amount of bricks used was big my friend.Used many thousands of 1x1 plates and 1x2 plates too but I can't give estimate. There was a rough plan when I started and I was casually building for 2-3 months. Edited July 14, 2015 by Gunman Quote
