Master_Data Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Participants: Master_Data, Agent G, Little John Begin Log: We stumbled upon some ruins from Jurin II's earliest civilizations. Little John and Agent G volunteered to help excavate the rest of the ruins and look for more awesomnium. Seems like there are some weird crab-like creatures amongst the ruins. We'd better save one for Big Sal. Little John readies his camera for shots of the area before we start drilling. There's something hiding behind that rock. Better not disturb it. It's almost like the creature is guarding that helmet... Activated my new M.A.N.T.I.S. Awesomnium Locator. Ready to commence drilling! An alternate view of the ocean floor. Great! I'll remove the debris with the M.A.N.T.I.S. Gator Class Submersible. More pictures of the submarine. Let's get working! End Log Comments: Sorry for the lack of story! I've been very busy. Maybe I'll come back and edit it once I have time! Quote
Master_Data Posted June 29, 2015 Author Posted June 29, 2015 Great looking sub! Thanks! The pictures don't even do it justice. My studio isn't large enough to contain the sub, so I had to make due with the few shots I was able to manage. Quote
Mr Greeble Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) Yay! Somebody featured me! That sub looks awesome, and I'm glad to see that olive green is appearing in M.A.N.T.I.S. vehicles. edit: Just noticed, that detector is almost the same exact thing I was going to use in my build for last week! Garmadon Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Very nice submarine, and the underwater is excellent as well - I also really like the blue color you used for the ocean floor! Quote

Zepher Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Really like that sub! Like how long the engine is! I wish there was a bit more floral growth on the ground, or at least some texture of some sort, but other than that good build! Quote
David FNJ Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 That Gator Sub is so cool! Lots of underwater builds this week! My favorite detail for the scene is that helmet - nice touch! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Sweet submarine! Those arms on the front, and the use of a power miners wheel in the middle look(s) amazing Quote
Enceladus Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Really nice sub-also, where is the (bionicle?) helmet you uses from? Quote
Big Sal Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 That's the most ferocious looking sub I've seen in a while! Great build! Quote

Really nice sub-also, where is the (bionicle?) helmet you uses from? Actually, it's from this set from Knights Kingdom II. Most AFOLs hated that line, but this shows that many of the pieces are still useful! Quote

Well good parts choice anyway then-it looks old enough to be in a fantesy set but at the same time kind of futuristic as well Quote
LittleJohn Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Very nice little build! The sub is excellent Thanks for including me too! Quote
