In regard to the galley, I was looking for a lot of nautical collectibles - like you might find in a seafood restaurant. It needs to be more "cluttered".

EDIT:

Oh, and here's a few very special images of my old office where I use to write my mysteries:

(these are really "behind the scenes")

These pictures just scream to me that you live on Puget Sound. :-P It is a very nice office, though.

Heh... hm. Our old house (In Puget Sound) was decorated the same way, and our friend's house (also in Puget Sound) was also the same. It was kind of the "style" there. X-D That's why I asked.

Did a similarly theme in the living room once, only with the addition of some shells and a large framed chart. I spy some Harbor Lights and a Lefton, I think. Still have a few HL's around, though I can't remember which ones anymore, just that my favourite one was red and white striped and a fairly early release.

Your pics make me want to revisit that theme, but this time around I want a cannon. Local metal detector/treasure hunting supply store sold both replicas and authentic salvaged ones, full sized and carronades (sp?).

Nautical On! *y*

You got it on the money. What you see is only a very small portion of the collection. I really liked the large Lefton lighthouses and had most of the popular lights.

Sounds great. I never had a cannon. Now that Pirates hit the movie theater, there's a lot of neat things for room decor. I saw a radio a few weeks ago at Target in the shape of a pirate's chest (CDRadio player). It looked really neat. They also had some tins, lamps, and other neat decor. Just need to break out the old fish net, and the old box(es) of goodies. *y*

Oh my god, that review!!! 8-| 8-| It's so enticing. Must have that boat. But seriously for a sec

Mr. Brickster, that's the most impressive behind the scenes sneak peak yet! You've got a wonderfully pleasant workspace and quite a fine collection of nautical antiquities. It's amost as big as Mr. Mason's! X-D

Anyway, I like your barquentine! Thanks for the insider look into the carebear's lair. :'-)

Thanks. This was my old office. I kept the new office down to a minimal in terms of the nautical stuff. I'm thinking of maybe western or trains for a new office theme. Just not sure what I want to do yet.

Well, since my birthday's coming up this October I thought I could get that set (7994) though despite of all the reviews and comments I'm still not convinced. :-P :-P

So, any like recommendations from people? Are there any from you guys? Like a lot of playability? A lot of things to be done with set? :-D :-D

You're really getting off topic now. Why don't you take a look at the image review of the set, and perhaps read the comments.
