Hello, I am planning on building a Green Grocer of different color, and I want to know what color would be the best looking.

  • Medium Blue
  • Blue
  • Red
  • Reddish Brown.

So which one do you think is the best

I think Reddish Brown will be something new and great looking. Try to make it first with LLD so u can have more idea about how it is going to look like

Oh, I actually don't have LDD in my computer. Every time I try to download it fails. It's probably my internet.

EDIT: Now I finally have it, so I'll be able to build it there.

Of the colors you've listed, I think Reddish Brown would look the best. But what I'd really love to see is a Medium Lavender take on it; one would have to swap regular 1x2s for the slotted ones, but other than that I'm pretty sure all the necessary parts exist.

Lavender would be interesting. And, Medium Blue might look "cool".

But I would stay clear of either Red or Blue. They've been done before (you can find pics online), and I think the primacy of both colors somewhat strips the design of its cozy appeal.

Reddish Brown. Hmmm.... That's from way in left field, which may surprisingly work, or which may not surprisingly 'not work'. I tried something similar recently, in the throes of a color dilemma - and it thankfully payed off.

But, I did my own grocer in Dark Blue. Came out wonderful. Can post photos if you'd like. And I didn't seem to lose much in the way of not having the grooved brick. But I know some have used the Masonry Brick with success, which I'm trying now, and the masonry brick offers another flavor.

Out of the ones you suggested, I'd propably go with reddish brown. Medium blue might work, but I think it's still a little too bright to really work on a large facade. And as others said, steer clear of the primary colors.

I did my own version in sand blue, like most did. I also saw a tan version on here somewhere which looked nice aswell.

The 2x1 with groove is now available in pink, I think with white it could look good, some old buildings where I live are that colour, might be interesting to see
