MOC: Dinotopia Raptor Rickshaw

I wasn't sure where to put this, but saw some old Dinotopia MOCs in Sci-Fi, so here goes. This is a very small build but I was pleased with the result.

I felt a couple classic adventurers figs would fit in the Dinotopia world.

When I obtained some of the new Jurassic World dinosaurs my first thought was of the original Dinotopia book I enjoyed years ago. I thought a sort of rickshaw pulled by dinos would fit in that world, and maybe some like that was even in the book. I did find this image of concept art from the TV series (which I haven't seen):

My version is obviously a very loose adaption. Some might point out that these dinosaurs are called Gallimimus by LEGO, but I'm taking the creative liberty to dub them raptors for the sake of alliteration.

Wow, that is a very creative use for the dinos, I like it. The cart is really well crafted too, and the colors used balance out nicely. Great job all around man. :thumbup:

Dude this is an amazing build. I like how sleek and angular the final build is - the lack of exposed studs make it feel very finalized and add a nice flavor to the build. Great work my friend.

I love the red striped seats mixed with the gold. Makes the rickshaw really stand out! And this build almost reminds me of the part in Jurassic World where Owen (Chris Pratt) rode his motorcycle beside the Velociraptors.
