One question that just popped-up: Why are all supercars either for young guys or empty nesters (i.e. have only 2 seats)? Anyone gave this a thought?

Because only people with no kids can afford a supercar.

To answer some questions/remarks:

The steeringracks as sideskirts were bothering me slightly as well, so I'll see if I can find a better solution for that.

I will see how more straight sidepanels at the back look. The backside is the part I struggled most with in terms of styling. A lot of variants were either to boxy or looked like an owl face :tongue:.

I am planning on making buildinginstructions, but I'm not sure yet which learningcurve I want to climb for that.

I'm not into Technic, but that's a cool looking vehicle. Its contours remind me of the F150 LaFerrari.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does "HoG" mean with reference to the steering?

Hand of God steering. It means you can steer the car with a knob/gear somewhere on the model.

Wow!

I got here from the front page as I normally don't venture much into this part of the forum. I tend to build with System parts, although I own a couple of Technic models (among them the beautiful 8070), which are refreshingly different builds if you need a change every now and then. I just can't get my head around all that technical stuff though - that's why I just can't build this way myself! But being a car guy I can certainly appreciate this - I really like the way you've sculpted the bodywork. The ground clearance is a bit high for a supercar, but I'm guessing that's to accommodate the independent suspension. And it's no bad thing - it just reminds me a bit of this:

A very rare beast, the 1992-2000 MEGA Track, with a 6-litre Mercedes V12. A supercar with (limited) off-road capability :)

Anyway: A gorgeous build. Well done!

That short a wheelbase and it has a V10? Jeroen, I must congratulate you. You have found the recipe for an incredible-handling handful of a car, or, as some people call it, a Stratos.

I do respect the work behind it, and i appreciate the technic part of it....but as car designer I can tell you this car it's probably one of the ugliest car ever! i mean those shapes are far away from what you would like to see in real life believe me!

That is charming and straight to the point.... :laugh:

Perhaps as a car designer you would like to elaborate on how he could make it more realistic to your standards (pictures may be easier)?

I my self think that it is quite futuristic.
