Help with the Align Tool

Hello,

I am building the LDD model of the 8858 Rebel Wrecker. However, when i want to connect a technic beam to a connector the align tool doesn't work. Does anybody know how to solve this?

And another question, how do i get the truck horizontal again? It's at a different angle right now.

I enclosed the LDD file and a screenshot.

You can move key parts relate to the alignment aside before use hinge align tool (for simplify the alignment structure). then put it back.

To get the truck horizontal again, simply place a new brick then move the car to connect to the new brick.

Sorry to bother you again, but i'm stuck again. :-( I removed all the parts as you said, but the connectors just don't click together. Can you please try again and explain how you solved it this time?

The fixed LXF file below include 16 cloned brick I grouped then cloned aside before use hinge align tools.

Steps:

- group key parts relate to the alignment (this case 16 bricks)

- clone the group aside

- use hinge align tools to auto connect

- remove non-align parts (trans red +blue) form main model

- replace with hinge aligned parts (green)
