Posted July 4, 20159 yr Location: G10 Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle, Airplane [sort of], Exploration The lava covered landscapes of Onix provide a beautiful if harsh landscape, especially when the pitch black ignatious rock is studded with Biomass. Guy thought so too, as he drove over the planet's surface. Guy Wynd, reporting! What's the status on Onyx, Guy? Beautiful! Anything more um... practical? Breathtaking. Well, if that were literal, it would be pretty serious in a practical way, but as I suppose it isn't... Oh. How would it be if I were to take some pictures? I never was any good at descriptions! I can tell. Well, that sounds good. Okay, engaging areal transform! Here I am, up in the air! Even more gorgeous from here! *snap*snap* Augh! Oops... um... Something happened? Oh, ah, no. Nothing much. Well, signing out! After returning to headquarters: Hey Guy, so where is that camera? Camera? Yeah. You know, the little black box like thing that records images of what you aim it at? Oh yeah. I know what a camera is. Right. So where'd it go? Um... A few overview shots! The middle part of the little rover snaps off for areal function. C&C welcome! I discovered while building this that I could use some more practice with lava! I'm awfully slow!
July 4, 20159 yr Cool little rover! I think the lava came out well. Looks great! Does the camera's warantee cover being dropped into a lava flow? Might want to check on that...

I think you did the lava quite well. The key in my mind is the yellow base. Thank you mrcp6d! I tried to follow the tip that where the lava runs faster, it becomes more and more yellow! July 7, 20159 yr It always amazes me how much you tend to put into just a small moc. And, as I've said before, I really like that as it shows other people that it doens't nessecarily take a gigantic collection to come up with something really cool!

July 8, 20159 yr This is my favorite of your builds so far. I love the way you showed the lava flowing down the rock. The balance of black lava rock and orange lava is perfect. The neon crystals and jewels add just the right amount of detail.
