Sorry, I'm still getting used to all our names. I was in a coma for the other two adventures we had. I'm not bored, I'm just reading. You know this is my town playstyle. Well, I can assure you that I'm a loyal Einherjar, and have been all my long, long, long life. Brand messaged me in private as soon as confirmation went up, and I jokingly told him I was scum because I didn't want to talk to anyone before the Day went up, but hey, you can take it however you want.

I passed it off as a joke, but it could potentially be that he is a recruit for the corrupted and he is just "testing the waters" to find out who can bring him into their circle. And it's even not so much what he says as how he responds. Is he defensive? Counter accusatory? Does he reach out via PM or clam up, all good things to know aren't they? Nobody would hint that way. Nobody. Why would anyone give a hint to their allegiance, blatantly come out in the first post and say "I am neutral!" and that's clearly not what he's saying. He has posted since then. He ignored you. I'm guessing because you make no sense. Huh... Well, I'll tell ya what Cranebeinn, if it makes you feel any better, I'll give you my personal assurance that I am town. I'm super town even! So now that you know for a fact that I'm town, you can rest easy.

Weird, but it seems way too bold, especially for an experience comrad. The odds would be stacked against him for finding a corrupted one that early. Just seems weird.

Just seems weird. The really weird part about it is that Brand messaged me before the ordeal even started. I remember having a dream that he was a tree and I got him cut down, and then I was a clown and he got me killed, but I'm not sure we're on "message immediately" standards. I'm happy to help a guy out, but not before he's even posted. His behavior in thread has been pretty genuine and pro-town to me, but hey, he's getting better every time. Might be a ruse.

Mr. Pudding, you have made a few errors in your version of our conversation: You do not point out that I say that I think he is potentially joking (I make that very clear). I know that a person with as much experience as Tarben would never say something so brash and stupid, that's why I was not planning on saying anything about it until you managed to make it a focal point of our conversation. One of us is screwing the conversation up. I did point out that I thought Tarben was being exceptionally quiet, and I thought that to be very odd for someone of his age. I did not ever say that I thought he was scum, as Mr. Pudding would make it seem. If the audience would like, I would be happy to post an exact copy of the conversation we had. Then we could know who is the one screwing things up.
