Train Ballast

Hi guys =]

Been experimenting and working with my Lego Trains today.

I've managed to use a Lego Datca to create a virtual control box with a stop, start, emergency stop and shut down button, which don't need explaining as to what they do.

So anyways; for you train guys. Do you use "ballast" to brighten up your layout? And how do you do it? On curves, namely.

I've just ordered more bricks from PaB on S@H, which should be here soon, so that got me back into the trains.
