Ha! You lucky... person! Just what we talked about! I spot 9. I guess you need 200! Let us hope for more sets or PAB walls...

200 sounds quite good, but I would, of course, prefer 2000!

But indeed, without being available in multiple sets or PAB walls, the prices will probably be a bit steep compared to those of their regular green counterparts.

I feel that I am the only one who finds this set remarkably underwhelming. It seems to feature Yang's temple, but with next to no show accuracy. Only the statue actually shows what it's supposed to be. And the whole thing seems to be smaller than the Fire Temple in size. Sure, it's nice to get the mailman, Misako and Dareth, but apart from that, it doesn't really have all that much going for it. I suppose it's pretty good from an architectural perspective, but apart from that... At any rate, I'm really glad that I can pass this one up. There are already too many Ninjago sets that I want to get. Can someone please explain why this is considered such an appealing set? And also what those grey pieces in the spire-thingy on top of the temple are?

Oh this looks quite cool. Maybe gonna be first (and only? :)) Ninjago set. I do think the price could a little lower (like Ferris Wheel for example).

I certainly won't be getting it, but man oh man is it purty!

Those olive green stalks look delectable. And dark brown spider legs for tree parts! There's just too much win to account for...

Oh... I feel, if I'll get much money on bitrhday or if there will be sales, I'll buy it 100%, instead of some mixels, mini figures and small ninja go...

Well, it's not one unbelievably huge building, but it is three really detailed buildings. You can almost think of it as Ninjago's answer to the beloved Medieval Market Village.

Wait, is that what I think it is? A flesh minifigure in a non-licensed set?

Nope. Same yellow color as all the rest.

Hmm, looked somewhat flesh-y to me... but it's probably just the lighting.

I'm counting the stone guy as a 13th figure!

Never been interested in this line, owing to its daft figures and weird vehicles, but this is a beautiful set. Might get it.

And Ninjago wins best set lineup for the year. This isn't what I expected or wanted. It's something entirely different and I LOVE it :wub_drool: :wub_drool: . My goodness the colors and architecture that's bundled in this work of art is breathtaking (Fire Temple has been dethroned!)

The minifigure lineup is so-so. Although I'm ecstatic for Misako (o-my-goodness-yes!!), the Postman (finally!!), and new prints for Wu and Dareth, having two generic civilians (Jesper and Claire) who have little relevance to the show is a bit of a shame (especially since most of their parts are reused). Minifigures like a hatless Ronin, Mother Doomsday, or even Cyrus Borg would have been better choices (regardless of set context). It's also a bit of a shame that all 6 Ninja are wearing the Deepstone Armor they wear in most of the Summer sets. New head prints for them (preferably double sided) would have redeemed that.

Now to just find more money...

Is the water Bowl made from a kingdoms helmet in a new color? Or am I deceived? Or is it a fireman helmet?

It's a miner's helmet.

I'm completely blown away by this set. It's absolutely gorgeous, with some fascinating building techniques and interesting features. I will definitely have to get this.

Day 1 purchase for me: beautiful set, many cool parts and love just the vibe from it.

I'm not a huge Ninjago fan, but this set looks great. If nothing else, it looks like a great display piece. I need to make room for it in my budget though.

One thing I'm not clear on: do the bridge, temple, and shops physically connect? It seemed like it in the video, where the whole model was moved in one piece, but it's not made clear.

Impressive. But why would they put two random tourists when they could have put some characters from the cartoon that we never got as minifigures, or at least someone who actually looks interesting.

Yes, as you can see in this video

they are connected. Edited by Cagast

Thank you very much for the press release, Hinckley! :classic:

In general, I'm absolutely no Ninjago fan! But this set is really amazing!

Con:

- ugly Ninjago minifigures (the futuristic looking ninjas)

- a lot of money

- no fishing lines to the pivots

- only one chair in the "tea room" of the castle

- only very little interior to the first floor ot the blacksmith shop

- no interior to the second floor of the blacksmith shop (TLG could have at least added a chair and a table or a bed)

Pro:

- decent number of accessory

- rockets canon for firework display

- female painter, salesman and mainly mailman are excellent minifigures

- very universally usuable set: for Castle / Ninja (as small village and ninja castle), as a historical open-air museum for City or as a fun park for City

- very nice bridge

- lovely landscape

- stunning architecture of all three buildings

So many specialized pieces that I want for modular builds! the set itself is very awesome, something I didn't really expect to come out. Might be a touch Christmas.

The whole thing is still rather small-looking compared to, say, the Haunted House, which also seemed to be far more detailed and had a lower price as well. I don't know why, but it just lacks a certain something to my mind. I guess I'm just dissapointed that the whole thing bears so little resemblance to Yang's actual temple, never mind the inclusion of things from unrelated areas.
