January 8, 200817 yr I'll leave the choice up to canadianD, he can be on the side she/he wants most :-) .
January 9, 200817 yr Ok well lets start with a few simple lessons, double posting is not a good idea so in future please use the edit button if you want to add something. You are welcome to join the empire if you wish, however you will start with the same rank as all newbies. That rank is as a Tie Pilot/Clone Commando, if you do well then you might one day reach the heights of Sergeant/Scout Trooper with a Tie Fighter only. The rebels could do with an extra hand, so if you wish to join them im sure they would be happy. thanks i really am glad for your help :-) sure i don't mind being a private and TIE fighters aren't that bad i really like the empire so i'll join them is there any way i could in the future rise through the ranks is there really a difference between TIE pilot and clone commandoe i guess one is a pilot and the commandoe is infantry right i'd like to be a clone commandoe then oh and im a guy Edited January 9, 200817 yr by canadianD

No one will have a Tie Bomber or Tie Interceptor etc, those are still being developed and are prototypes. They will be given out to those worthy in time and not before. TK and Casewindu: You can both promote troopers to different ranks if you feel its been earned. Remember we are trying to establish a chain of command so dont be afraid to use yours when needed. :-) .....Just remember whos been promoted to what X-D
January 9, 200817 yr I will also point out that the Rebellion is going to just have X-Wings and Y-Wings in this time era. We'll also have Mon Calamari cruises, as we can say they just joined the cause!

January 9, 200817 yr Author ok so TIE pilot and commando are ecentialy the same thing your just a storm trooper who knows how to fly a TIE fighter cool :-) Yep that's right. I think this slower aproach will allow us to build better story lines and allow everyone the chance to take part.
January 9, 200817 yr No one will have a Tie Bomber or Tie Interceptor etc, those are still being developed and are prototypes. I think the same should go for the Rebels, E.g.: No A or B wings. But X-wings, Y-wings and Z-95s should be okay.

January 10, 200817 yr Excuse me, but i've heard of the tie army and wish to fight for the empire in the war against the pitiful rebel scum! X-D I'm new to the concept, but can I join and have that cool imperial banner for my signature? :-)
January 10, 200817 yr Author Excuse me, but i've heard of the tie army and wish to fight for the empire in the war against the pitiful rebel scum! X-D I'm new to the concept, but can I join and have that cool imperial banner for my signature? :-) Welcome to the Empire, you will have the same new rank as everyone else. You are a new Tie Pilot/Clone Commando, simply go to the Tie Thread and report for duty. Now on to another matter: Unknown Artist i am kicking you out of the Tie Army Thread, you have only been here for a few posts yet you refuse to follow the games simple rules. I will not allow you to do what you like, we are trying to build a story and a chain of command which you have ignored. I'm all for free creative story telling but your posts are just plain maddness and serve no good at all. Your posts show a lack of respect to all involved in the thread, therefore i have no other option then to exclude you. If you post in the other thread again then i will take a more extreme line of action, consider yourself lucky that i'm in a good mood this morning. *Edit: Well it seems that UA decided to ignore my posts, therefore i have placed him in the chamber. Now lets try and get back to what we do best guys :-)
January 10, 200817 yr I want to throw out a question for everyone, mainly Vader: "Is it ok for one side to say what the other side is doing?" I raise this point because some people, throughout the game, have said that we (the Rebels) were somewhere or attacking their ship without us actually saying we were there or attacking their ship. For the most part, if some one says we were somewhere, I will continue with it (lest it is really bogus) and say we are there, but when somebody says we are engaging them in force without us actually saying so, it is a bit frustrating to actually having to respond with that. :-)

I think it might be wise to stop saying one side is somewhere they are not, that's why i didn't order an attack. What's everyone else's view on this?
January 10, 200817 yr What's everyone else's view on this? Well I am at school all day and when I come home I find that my ship is under attack. I'm not trying to be negative but I dont really want it to be attacked at the moment and would prefer to slowly begin to start the story off, that is why I created a small mission for my group, soon I will let them get into big space battles but for now would prefer you guys to leave my ship alone ;-) I am quite annoyed about UA completely going against me and fully support your putting him in the chamber Vader yet now I only have two people on my team. Not complaing it's just a job a new arrival could fill as UA seems not to take it seriously :-( your friend Casewindu.

Yes i fully understand what you mean, that's why i think it's great that this slow approach has begun well (apart from UA). Don't worry about being a man down, i shall give the next new pilot to you.
January 10, 200817 yr I think the "one side saying another is attacking" method could be okay, especially if it's rebels talking about the Empire - after all, the Empire is vast and scattered throughout the galaxy and it doesn't necessarily have to be one of us who's attacking/being attacked. TK
January 10, 200817 yr Yep that's right.I think this slower aproach will allow us to build better story lines and allow everyone the chance to take part. ok thanks vader for helping me learn how everyone does stuff here at EB i think its a good idea to make recruits have TIE pilot and clone commando that way its fare. who do i report for duty i guess i with CASE WINDU since im a new guy Edited January 11, 200817 yr by canadianD

A-wings and B-wings are in the prototype process, so they exist, but can not be used by the ordinary Rebel in battle. My ship is a prototype E-wing, I hope thats fine :-$ , it will not be used widely until much later P
January 10, 200817 yr A-wings and B-wings are in the prototype process, so they exist, but can not be used by the ordinary Rebel in battle. My ship is a prototype E-wing, I hope thats fine :-$ , it will not be used widely until much later P Well, there's a problem. According to Wookiepedia, The A- and B-wings were developed after the Battle of Yavin, prototypes and all. And I think-I'm not too sure, though- that the Mon Calamari joined the Rebellion closer to the time of the Battle of Yavin, so it may look like we wont have Calamari ships (I'm not sure, though). Unfortunately, the E-Wing also appears to have been prototyped after the Battle of Endor, in the new gallactic alliance. Around this time period, I think this is when the rebellion had just gotten X-Wings. However, it depends how acurate we want to be in this story.

Very true, the Wikia is useful, I also read that TIE Interceptors were developed ABY(after battle of Yavin) but the prototypes were used before TIE Defenders weren't supposed to exist until the New Republic Era, yet they appear in Battlefront which takes place much before. So It all depends on how accurate with the story line I'll let Vader decide P
January 10, 200817 yr Oooo! Fun! I always wondered what that was... I am Trooper VBBN, but I like Imerial VBBN better. I just posted there. So, how do you become a tie pilot? -----Trooper VBBN

So It all depends on how accurate with the story line I'll let Vader decide P I also agree that this MUST be Vaders call... Story lines should be fluid anyway, and if Vader makes the polite suggestion to not go that way, (Its also up to us to catch it, others wise you get a UA :-| incident); I think most of the core players understand this... Vader, would it be helpful to make a separate thread to make an official list of what you would allow? As for advice, I would keep it as low tech as possible, because as this story progresses, the new technologies themselves make great lines to follow. I sense a great group of minds here, but we all need to be patient as the story progresses... This (the allowable thread) thread should be locked by admin, and only updated as you, the Admin *vader* , would allow. Also, I have notice a lot of TIEs flying around being destroyed before we can get there... I myself have no desire to really blow up any... players ships, at least without there controlled consent... I would ask the rebels respect my poor cloned brothers X-D wishes to live just a little while longer :-$ . With Respect and Admiration for all of Your Creative Minds Palin
January 11, 200817 yr Well...I run a site called the Clone Commando Pod that features a Clone Wars RPG (Very active), so I'd love to hop in here. I'll join the rebels. My backstory: I was a former Republic Clone Commando. I left the Republic/Empire after order 66 was issued. I refused to fire upon my Jedi leader. Later, I joined the Rebel Alliance as a Commando. So how exactly can I join?
