Yeah... *make it to hangar and easily escape to space* sounds a lot like *wades in, kills 1,000,000 troopers and runs off without a scratch* ;-)

Lord Slyp... I realize you wish to escape, but I would also like to back up the statements of both the Good Admiral and General. I know you can't retract your post now, but that is the last time something like that is going to fly. Remember, this is all in fun... But you decided to switch allegiances. You must now act like a Rebel. No good guy, in any books, would just kill troops like that. There is also no way in hell you could escape like that. We all need to be somewhat realistic in our posts, otherwise it will get way out of hand. If this continues, I think that I can safely speak for my Imperial friends, by saying we will just ignore you posts. Please, don't let it get to that, because all of us here love great posts, but that, my friend, was bull!

I'm sorry, I've been kind of stressed out recently, I would like to use this post to say that I am quiting this for a while at least. If I choose to rejoin this game later I will start from scratch, not add on to this. I just don't have the time or energy to do this part fully as Palin Jax has mentioned, I have posted things without really thinking much about it. In a month or two I might rejoin as a difforent person, and I would like it if you didn't hold anything that I have done this time against me if I do. Thanks

Edit: TK, that's not what I meant, rather I didn't have the time to complete the story.

Apology excepted, Captain Needa... I mean Lord Slyp! :-P

I think that it will be possible to do as you ask, if the other don't mind, I have no objections. So I second the good Admiral!

Inertia: It's ok... just read up, it's been a long and bumpy ride. Right now, the thread is a little amiss...

It means just that. If I am going to hold anyone else accountable for posting unfairly, then I must start with myself. In reality, Star Wars anyway, if the commanding officer of a vessel allowed the kinds of mistakes that would allow another ship to board his vessel, they would be killed... certainly at least quart-marshaled or at the minimum demoted. I have played Jax to the effect that he is a dark Paladin, hence, I must always follow the rules. Hell, I even showed disrespect to a senior officer. Just for everyones knowledge, I served in the Navy, so I am not making all of this stuff up. Not that I equate the US Navy to any Empire... I would take strong offense to that!

So, frankly speaking, I am, in a sense reacting the ways properly transcribe for a any noble Imperial Officer, akin to Pelleaon, Veers, Jerijorod, Needa, or Piett would, by taking responsibility for my actions, or lack there of, in the hopes, in character, that that would inspire my officers to become better... even in the event and expense of my own demise... Now, I am hope like hell that *vader* won't actually act like Vader, but according to my own argument, I am, from Jax's perspecive... at the mercy of the Dark Lord of the Sith. Lord *vader*... I hope you ARE more forgiving than the Emperor was!

Well, It's not like anything bad happened. So, what, you have a few dead Troopers, and a three-meter hole in a ship, but no one really got away with anything...at the very least, you could tell *vader* that you captured a JSF. (Didn't you?)

The answer to your question is no... and it is not so much that I failed as much as this is again the proper way any noble officer would act. You know... Like your fascination with the big bad arses this side of 'verse, I really dig Imperial Officers. I think that the books give them a bad name... just a bunch of whinny thieving opertunists... But the way I see it, most of those officers where just there doing their best to protect the only life they knew. Some may have actually been evil, but it's like the whole Stormtroopers-are-evil debate, and certainly one could add the now Clone troopers as well. I think everyone still liked what little we saw of Cody, even after he turned on Obi Wan. Also, it shows the improbability of safely landing on what is essentially a giant plastasteel fortress, get what the mission was, then safely getting back out again really entails. The Commanding Officers court marshal. Although technically a Captain outranks a Commander... I know... hence the little aside ;-)

Hey, guys...

I've noticed that a few people have started to use Mando words, and that's cool (Hey, it's catching on!) But remember- Mandalorians are generally viewed as scum by most of the galaxy, so their language wouldn't be used much, especially on an Imperial ship. So, don't try to use too much, because it could get real old to some if it's used too much. Thanks. ;-)

Argh, ok, but all of my brothers, in the 501st, are Mandalorian, atleast by birth if not by culture... like from that game, or the books you like... Just needed a little extra something in that post, and it just popped into my head. Won't happen again! :-$ Well.... >:-)

Well, they are Mandalorian, learning it from the training instructors. Yes, they do the Dha Werda, Dance of the Shadow Warriors, but they're more about the culture, not the language.

I think that with Vader's pronouncement of the completion of the Death Star, we had better wrap up loose ends. One is how to get IS free... So Rebels, start "infiltrating"... This would be highly more likely, probable, and certainly more desirable to attempt a rescue, but please be crafty. I don't think blasting your way into Bakaru will work quite well!

Hmp... I do believe you have just insulted all the rats... I mean dinner guest in your cell with you... But if you really wish, I am sure we could play "All by Myself" by Celine Dione for you... That would be almost as bad as waterboarding... Well *blush* ... maybe worse *devil* ! *laugh*

(And no... *hmpf* do not take above post seriously *wink* )

im back, but where are we?

IS is captured still, but am still in the SD or am i back at base?

jifel

We'll assume you escaped. Pirhana told you that you were an admiral, and you "answered", and we need to have our meeting. Not to mention that you'd have been on the SD for about a week now.

Goggleson hasn't been with the army for some time now. What should I do? I have posted returning to the SD, But I can't stay their forever...

If no one objects... You have been faithfully on training assignment, and, upon reporting back, had been dispatched by General Windu to assist Inertia. You guy's really do make a good team. You've just been quiet up until now... Though I am not sure what more can be done with Polis Massa... The rebels left it pretty abruptly.
