Kai NRG Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Spotlight! This was quite a fun build! I love understuds! Also (unlike virtually every other scene I've ever built) pretty fun to photograph! And trust me, you don't want a shot of the outside. Comments and criticism welcome as always! Thanks for checking her out! In case it wasn't obvious, this is for the Spaceship mastery technology. Garmadon Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Very nice micro-build Kai, the inside-of-the-brick approach here is excellent, and I like the details with the yellow lines on the floor and the stars in the background! Awesome lighting as well! Quote
mrcp6d Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I think some green would have been nice in at least the ship, but I really like this MOC! Reminds me of the the Enterprise shuttle bay from TOS. Quote
LittleJohn Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Superb shaping! I really like that you can see stars in the background too Quote
Kai NRG Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 Thanks for the comments! I think some green would have been nice in at least the ship, but I really like this MOC! Reminds me of the the Enterprise shuttle bay from TOS. Yeah, I couldn't quite figure out how to incorporate a bit of green in there, unfortunately. Maybe next time! Thanks! Superb shaping! I really like that you can see stars in the background too Thank you! It definitely needed the stars! Quote
aeralure Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Reminds me of a Battlestar Galactica launch tube, although this of course is much, much bigger than that. More a ship hangar and launch bay. It looks really cool in micro scale. The photography really adds to it, given that you cannot see the outside of it. Quote

And the outside is definitely not pretty - was rather, because it's been dismantled already! Quote
Zepher Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Great shaping! Very cool build! I really like under studs too, and think they were well-utilized here to give the miniature some texture. Quote
