October 30, 20159 yr This wave is really getting interesting: #1 A four armed Djinn named Nadakhan is the pirate captain #2 the pirates consist of a Djinn, a robot monkey( named Monkey wrench),Cyborg pirates, Serpentine and a giant samurai #3 the pirates have swords that either capture the ninjas, or take their powers #4 the pirates vehicles are almost steam punk airships #5 the ninjas have a small island with a small temple and a hot air balloon #6 the ninjas new outfits are a tornado and their symbol from a side view

Those look nice! (Pirate isn't a cyborg) Looks like Votvik-quality photos, but his eBay account has been gone since last year. That pirate guy appears in like 4 of the sets, too.
October 30, 20159 yr Love the pirates! Hate the Ninja torso. that symbol ruins every one of them! Ah! Frustrated! the pants are good though. Also not too keen on the pirate head repeats. I'd have liked to see some new henchmen heads. I guess the snake cultists really wiped them out in terms of unique heads for the antagonists? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

October 31, 20159 yr Those new suits are awesome! Just when I thought this year's costumes couldn't be topped. Really looking forward to these.
October 31, 20159 yr A "ronin" is a samurai with no master. They either ditched or the master got killed. A lot of ronin end up doing the kind of stuff Ronin does in the show. So it's possible he could have had something going on with them, since he previously did not say anything about his affiliation. Besides, he's a trap and weapons expert. I wouldn't be surprised. And... Seriously? that pic was just one post ahead of me.. wow. I love the pirate vests the ninja have (NOT biker jackets). Definitely the suit with the most swag in the lineup (beats the zen suits anyway). And who knows? Maybe that pirate is just in the polybag and not in every set, since he IS with Kai, who was also in the polybag. I think it's the same guy. And Lloyd is definitely the best. He was also great in the deepstone suit. For once, Kai is the least interesting character to get. See, Zane ALWAYS has an interesting suit. Jay has the shoulder armor. And Cole has a ghost head. These minifigs are awesome! Finally clear look at torso printing. Really curious why ninja symbols are now sideways and on Airjitsu vortex. Great detail overall, I think these ninja outfits are my 3rd favorite ninja costumes( Lego is yet to make something better than Deepstone armor and Zukin robes). Lloyd is really great looking, glad he will be in 25-30$ set next year, compared to 120 $ this year. Kai is great too. Can't wait to finally see official sets pictures.

Great detail overall, I think these ninja outfits are my 3rd favorite ninja costumes( Lego is yet to make something better than Deepstone armor and Zukin robes). Zukin suits were great. We finally got tactical ninja. But I don't think they're better than the zen suits. The zukin outfits were ALL the same. Same straps, same belt. They were only slightly different. The zen suits balanced out the ninja, fixing their flaws, which was why the suits were all different. I think those are better in my opinion. So, does this mean, Cole's symbol will also be sideways? YES! I can finally know what the heck his creature is supposed to be!
