Amazing Bricks Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Was Cole's Dragon actually in Season 6? I thought it was an entirely new dragon, because it looks nothing like the show counterpart. I don't recall seeing it, if it was, it wasn't that small one from the set. Quote

It is in season 6 for multiple times. In episode 54, 55, 57, we saw he riding the dragon, but never rode it alone. Quote

Yeah, but that was his larger dragon from the Tournament of Elements. I was talking about his "smaller" dragon from the set. Or is the dragon just small so that Lego could make a small $10 dragon.? Or is the dragon just small so that Lego could make a small $10 dragon.? It's a little odd, but Cole's real dragon (TV show) is the largest and second longest dragon in the show... So I doubt that the comparson is intentional. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiLubDAiJfLAhUJWSYKHU-DAncQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fninjago.wikia.com%2Fwiki%2FElemental_Earth_Dragon&psig=AFQjCNFhMZ6x-ApP5wXlJHY1Oxc-xWLcVg&ust=1456632315979452 Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Just bought Sky Shark set and love it! First time in over a year we can get Lloyd in cheap set( he looks awesome in Skybound gee),Flintlock is a really good minifigure as well. The build itself was really enjoyable and the result satisfying! So in the end it's really good set that's worth it's money! Definitely would recommend getting it. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 New polybag, not sure if it has been posted before: http://brickset.com/sets/30423-1/{Sky-pirate} I've never seen it before. That said I don't really follow Ninjago so I don't know. Quote

That said I don't really follow Ninjago so I don't know. Nice find! It's a shame that's a summer release polybag, it would have been much better to get any other villain. By the way, the samurai x set is called: Samurai X Cave Chaos Edited February 28, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
Aanchir Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Yeah, I hadn't seen that one before today either. Interesting that it's yet another summer set that's Skybound themed. Especially since there was already another sky pirate flyer polybag for the first half of the year. It's a pretty nifty design, though! Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 Holy wow! I just got Jay's Elemental Dragon for 14.99 at walmart. Quote

gamejutzu Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Holy wow! I just got Jay's Elemental Dragon for 14.99 at walmart. IMPOSSIBLE! But really, was there a sale on the first week or something? Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) How? IMPOSSIBLE! But really, was there a sale on the first week or something? Well, it was in the spot the Jay's Electro Mech was and for some reason it was marked the same way. I kinda expect this to be isolated, but hey i got a great deal on that. ChristopheQ Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 have you seen this ? (ninjago trading cards coming in Europe) https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fr&sl=de&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blue-ocean-ag.de%2Fnews%2Fweltpremiere-blue-ocean-bringt-erstes-lego®-ninjago-trading-card-game&sandbox=1 Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Nice polybag, too bad that minifigure included is Squiffy, since he already is in 2 sets , it makes this polybag less desirable for me. Would have been better if they included Doubloon or Clancee. But the build looks good. Quote

Doesn't really sound like a novelty to me given Ninjago started with cards that could be exchanged and were the basis for a game xD Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Hey, do these suits have names? Like NRG, Deepstone, and... the rest? Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Hey, do these suits have names? Like NRG, Deepstone, and... the rest? No not yet at least. There's no context to name new outfits something yet. Quote
HoganPrime Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum, but now I've finished the current round of skybound sets I finally wanted to let someone know. I don't know any Lego communities living here in shanghai with me, but there are several Lego stores. I finally finished the tiger widow island set this weekend which was a fun build. Actually all of the seven skybound sets have been great, and misfortunes keep goes great next to my 'posession' destiny's bounty. I have too much Lego in my living room haha Edited February 28, 2016 by HoganPrime Quote
Thelegomaster Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Hey, do these suits have names? Like NRG, Deepstone, and... the rest? I believe they were referred to as the Airjitzu Gis Quote
DuckBricks Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Hey, do these suits have names? Like NRG, Deepstone, and... the rest? The TV show calls them Airjitsu gis, but Lego calls them Skybound outfits. Airjitsu seems more accurate as Nya did not "earn" hers until she unlocked Airjitsu, hence two different variants this wave. Edit: ninja'd, sorry Edited February 28, 2016 by legozebra Quote

The only reason why I didn't buy the bounty (which I think is the best set ever) was it's size - 85 % of my cupboards are already filled with Lego.. Posession destiny's bounty?! u should make some MOC thread for that ;) Anyway; I don't get why we didn't receive any more information about the two missing summer wave sets until now (besides to price and name)? Normally that's just the case with the one exclusive set Quote
DuckBricks Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Oh, forgot to mention the Ninjago: Skybound app is now on the iPhone App Store... It's the same as the one on the Ninjago website, but still fun. Quote

Actually very surprised at it's gameplay, especially the combat. ninjago trading cards coming in Europe That's disappointing, they're just collectibles. They're not clever, like the originals. There's no SP or elemental bars to be seen, plus they don't look... Authentic. Quote
