BrickJagger Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Kryptarium Prison Breakout? Still, there is no "small" set in the wave, like a 6.99 or 9.99 set. Quote
PenPlays Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Still, there is no "small" set in the wave, like a 6.99 or 9.99 set. Sets with those specifications typically release only in the Winter/Spring Wave. It's been that way for Ninjago for the past... since its inception. In fact, Nexo Knights is the only action-theme in recent memory to even have a set with that criteria in mind release in a Summer wave (The Glob Lobber). Quote

They count as Shtick or "gimmick" sets, and thus do not apply as your genuine, grade-a set. They are also appropriately packaged as separate entities as well. In all, it's more of the fact that they feel more like a gimmick rather that your typical playset that sets them apart. Quote
azog Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 No because I have been planning on making a Japanese temple so because of jay's robe being soo basic I could use that as a student robe Quote
Junior Shark Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) A cheap way to pick up Wu? Count me in. "Cheap"- unless it's a "Buy $30 of Lego" thing. Edited March 22, 2016 by Junior Shark Quote
Exetrius Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I've got mixed feelings about this polybag. It's a nice way to get Wu for really cheap, but he has been in the three sets so far. I don't like the inclusion of ToE Jay. He came in a polybag, an army builder set and the very popular ElectroMech, so he's very common. The build has a few good pieces, but nothing spectacular. On the other hand, I'm kinda glad that it doesn't have exclusive/obscure figs (I like those, very much even!), because this looks like the type of polybag to show up as a TrU exclusive, so it would be thougher to get at a decent price for me. But man, they are really pushing their 'box' art standards here! It's something! Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 The front cover of the Lego catalog portrays the villains and apparently Pythor has a translucent staff! Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) So Leaked pictures soon is what you're trying to say? JK, I really want Amzon to upload ninjago real soon. Edited March 22, 2016 by LegendsOfNinjago Quote

There is a leaked photo of the front of the summer catalog out there portraying the villains of the season. Also Sensei Yang's temple is floating on a piece of Ninjago too which is quite strange. Amazing Bricks Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Just saw it, it's just a leaked photo of the catalog. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 I think Pythor is a bad guy again. Which really sucks. Quote

Other than a cool powered-up Cole (as included in the Earth Roader set) battle pose, there's not much new to see. I think Pythor is a bad guy again. Which really sucks. It was to be expected, imho. Pythor is an opportunist and deceiver to the core of his very existance. (sorry for straying off topic here!) No Nelson on the artwork btw, so it seems. Edited March 22, 2016 by Exetrius Quote
CM4Sci Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) EDIT: Theeere it is. Looks cool. I always love seeing prelim stuff. Pythor looks interesting. Trans green/yellow staff is cool. Where's the source for this? Edited March 22, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
PenPlays Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Ya know... I'm a tad bit sad that Wyplash isn't the one representing the Skullkin. I mean, storywise, he's the only General left in the Underworld, so it would make sense. I don't mind as having Krazi and Frakjaw back are just as nice. I'm also a bit bummed that Kozu primarily has a black color scheme, as his all red one from 2013 was just marvelous. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Where's the source for this? A user on Instagram, just to keep his identity secret I won't say their username just so that they won't get caught. Edited March 22, 2016 by TheLazyChicken Quote
DuckBricks Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Do you guys have a link? Thanks. It shouldn't be that hard to find... Think of the usual places that suspicious images abound... I won't name particular ones, but iv seen it on large social media blogging sites, other forums, etc... Hope this helps. Quote
gamejutzu Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Cool! But where is Zane? I see Nya, Kai, Jay, and... Someone. Either Zane or Lloyd, but there's no white to be seen, so I think it's Lloyd. Curiously, they are in their airjitzu gis. Also, I think Krazi and Frakjaw were chosen to represent the skulkin, because they're fan favorites. Chopov and Bonezai weren't as popular either. Also sad to see Cryptor isn't in his white suit, but maybe the black one symbolizes Cryotor's regain of control again? For some strange reason, LEGO likes to tease the golden weapons. Cole has the scythe of quakes, just like Jay had the nunchucks of lightning. Here's hoping he'll actually use it though... Quote

LegendsOfNinjago Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 Yeah Jay, Kai and Zane are with sensei and Nya and Lloyd are at the top. Quote
Ookami Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I wonder, why Cole is alone against the villains. I can others at the top, but they seem to be warching how their fellow confronts all these bad guys. What's the matter. Why Cole? Quote
Kim-Kwang-Seok Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 since I cannot find the picture, can u guys at least describe it or send PM? ;) So does it include Nya in Airjitzu gear? Quote
the Lego scavenger Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Its still sticking out to me that they have just forgotten about Samukai and only used generics to represent the Skulkin faction in the season. Why Lego, why? overall, its a very good idea to have all of the villains from the past (save skybound villains due to the last season climax), it gives us a second chance with collecting some of the villains we never picked up (well some who just gotten recently into it) but the one thing i dislike about the sets is that they dont have the chance to make an army out of it, and that although I love the idea of a villain team up, the show runners are really starting to run out of ideas, because they nearly did every possible thing that the ninja faced off against and the possibility of continuing on would be weird for me to say the least. But hey, at least we get Zane's silver hair piece finally right? Anyways, on a side note, I just recently emerged out of my own dark ages of Lego because of how awesome this years going to be and I felt to give this account some more life. -Hunter Quote
