Second to that! The regular katanas are fine, but if you collect Ninjago, you are getting a ton of them within no-time, so a little more variation would be nice. How about a katana with a stud for the pommel, similar to the butterfly sword? The Dragon Sword of Fire is still my most favorite blade piece, because of the intricate detailing. I would really love to see that come in Silver and Gunmetal Gray.

A silver one of those would be beautiful! You could do soo many MOC'S with that

Besides katana colors, another thing that would be neat and useful is shuriken colors. There's no reason why all shurikens have to be gold. Silver Metallic and Titanium Metallic would work just as well — arguably better, from a story perspective, since you wouldn't risk confusing them for the Shurikens of Ice.

Of course, the reason katanas come in so many more colors than shurikens or the Dragon Sword of Fire is probably that they're used in so many more sets. Last year shurikens came in nine sets and the Dragon Sword in just four sets. By contrast, regular katanas are used all over the place, probably both because they're some of the most generic ninja weapons and because they're compatible with multiple types of sword holders. Last year's sets included nine with katanas in Silver Metallic, eight with Black, twenty with Warm Gold, eleven with Spring Yellowish Green, and one with Titanium Metallic — about 32 sets in all!

More katana colors wouldn't be a bad thing, and I'm sure we will see more in the future, but designers may not see an urgent need for that since there are already four or five colors available, so it'd take somewhat specific circumstances (like a new faction that uses katanas but needs different colors from the ninja, like last year's ghosts) for none of those colors to suffice.

Oh, you're right, I forgot about the shurikens! I've been wanting those in silver ever since they were showed in that colour in on of the Rise of the Snakes episodes (the one with the big treehouse)!

Yeah those in silver would also be beautiful!!! But i know this might be the wrong form to ask this on but i think we really need some new pirate swords as well , but anyways i would be happy with just the dragon sword in silver

one of the Rise of the Snakes episodes (the one with the big treehouse)!

Really? I don't recall seeing one there. Do you mean the first two episodes?

And yeah, silver or even wooden shurikens would be great! And the thought of a chrome sword...

Some actual new molds would be great as well, like perhaps a curved katana? How about a piece attached to the minifig's hip, that can have a sheath clipped on to it? Apply the sheath, then apply the sword. The sheath itself can have different kinds of printing as well.

One thing I don't understand is why LEGO hasn't created the transparent blue chains yet, mostly for the nunchucks of lightning. They had the perfect opportunity to with Jay's dragon, even the show sees it with blue chains...

After all, we got trans green chains in the Morro dragon...

Hopefully Lego will release a red or dark red lightsaber hilt piece in the future...

But one has to wonder what it'll be used for... LEGO hasn't released any red hilts to my knowledge.

Anyone know if the UK will be receiving the summer sets before the US will again?

Yeah I think UK gets their sets in June while the USA gets ours in August. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is what I heard

From what I've seen, release dates are all over the map. EU release date for Ninjago is supposedly July 1st. Then a bunch of sets (not Ninjago, but I do believe Nexo Knights) went up on Amazon France/UK with a June 1st release date. Those Amazon listed sets originally showed release dates of July 1st at EU Toy Fairs. NYTF photos showed release dates of August 1st for NA. So....EU looks like July 1st, but might be available on Amazon UK by June 1st and NA looks like August 1st, but again perhaps some other retail outlets (online retailers) may have the sets earlier than that.

I'm just hoping that set descriptions and photos for the summer wave (including the 2 sets we haven't seen) start showing up online sometime soon.

It gets worse, Creator, Juniors, and Duplo sets slated for an August release (on they Toy Fair plaques) in the US are now slated for a May release. In reality, we truly do not know, nor can we predict what's coming out until the following month's Lego Store Calendar is in print.

One thing is evident, though. Lego is clearly trying to release a new theme, or several new waves of older themes, monthly.

So because I had a bit more free cash lying around, tonight I picked up 70730, the chain cycle with NRG Zane and ghosts. Plus today the kai's mini fire dragon poly bag got delivered in the post, so all I need now is Wu's dragon and the Morro dragon and my dragon list is complete... I hope Nya will eventually get her own

I got Coles Dragon in the maI yesterday and built it last night. I'm accually impressed for how small the dragon is, but now I feel the pull to buy Zane's Dragon from last year so I have all the elemental dragons.

Got and built the 70605 Misfortunes Keep and the smaller 70733 Cole's Blaster Bike. The Misfortunes Keep is a real stunner, really cool build all around.

Give in to the pull

Do it!

I feel that if I wasn't collecting Ninjago as a whole, I would at least strive to own the elemental dragons.

Last week I got the Jay's elemental dragon and to say the truth I am a bit underwhelmed. Comparing it to the titanium dragon it seems way more blocky. I got it just for Jay and the monkey so I think for the figures it's a good deal.

Interesting, I didn't find it to be blocky, do you mean around the torso and missile launcher parts? I find that all the limbs and head have excellent movement and sizewise, it can hold two ninja like the titanium dragon can.

For me I am a little underwhelmed with the head on the T dragon, I feel like the top part can come off way too easy as the white bridge piece is connected only by a sjngke stud

So I have the Titanium Dragon in my Amazon Cart (and a bag of coffee if anyone cares) and I'm gonna try to buy it here in the next few weeks, I really dnot need any of the figs becauseI own them all already, but extras never hurt anyone.

I find the legs a bit too blocky and the base of the wings with spring-shooters, dont get me wrong I like the model, but I am a bit underwlemed.

As for the Titanium dragons head I like it very much, though Ive heard some mixed opinions about it.

I can see where you're coming from. I expected the dragon to be bigger and have more details. However, the Raid Reppelin delivered on the latter request...

all I need now is Wu's dragon and the Morro dragon and my dragon list is complete...

Now you need to buy the original 4 and the true form... have fun spending > $1000...

There's has been almost Zero news in weeks. Kinda ready for pictures or some thing *looks to Just2good and CM4SCI *

Only the Wu vs Jay and Skybound flyer polybag, and the stone armour Jay reveal. But yes, one should think it's about time that one brings us images... *Desperate look to our usual suspects*

I got into the series post skeletons, SL the snakes were my first villains. I have no interest in getting the first year sets, but when you say true form, do you mean the four headed dragon? Because I have that

Why would you need to spend >$1000 when you can create your own dragons? True, those older dragons are collectible but I prefer the newer dragons.

i know it is subjective but for me new generation of brick-built head dragons are way more appealing. So, to someone who missed/skipped the entire line of dragons from the early season I was not compelled to buy those retired sets.
