azog Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 That set (if it is the real one) it looks fantastic for only $50! Quote
just2good Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 That set (if it is the real one) it looks fantastic for only $50! It's actually $60, or that's what the Toy Fair report said. Quote
azog Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 It's actually $60, or that's what the Toy Fair report said. Oh okay sweet! Its still almost a steal at that price! Sadly its the only picture we have at the moment, but lets hope we get a better one by June Quote
Soupperson1 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 That set is really impressive for $60! Should've been a wide release! <3 Quote
Junior Shark Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 The set is absolutely incredible. It just went up to the top of my must-buy list. Quote
CM4Sci Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) That picture looks legit BUT it also looks like images placed over the Rock Raider box. I don't fall for it. EDIT: Fake. Someone pointed out that golden blade is from the Ronin mech set and you can even see the skeletons on top. He's right. Edited May 12, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
Kintobor Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Oh, wow, that Samurai X Cave set looks really cool! Even if it doesn't completely seal the entranceway, the skull is really cool! The display for the old armour is also really cool! I love how we're getting good old fashioned continuity in a Lego set! Quote

Falconfan1414 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) So morro is not in this set? This is kinda disappointing Edited May 12, 2016 by Falconfan1414 Quote
Exetrius Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Fake picture, seems like nobody noticed this yet: 10234 Ignacia Village by Quy Chau, on Flickr http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=53402 I do really like the minifigure pack with Zane and Nya. One of the baddies seems to have a sailor hat and the other a turban?! Great value for money Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 Looks like it was pasted over the Ronin Mech Box Quote
Takanuinuva Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Is that a new Samurai X variant in the battle pack? it kinda looks like the Toe/ghost variant with the 2012 samurai armor on it. Quote
Aanchir Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) That new battle pack looks pretty cool! The white figure is definitely Zane, because it has Zane's special power source. In fact, if I'm reading the label right (and I might not be, since it's very blurry), it is in fact Tournament Zane. Pretty neat! This would be the second time a ninja has gotten a costume that corresponds to one they never wore in the show, after Lloyd DX from the 2014 Target minifigure cube! Edited May 12, 2016 by Aanchir Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) The Zane version looks very Tournament of elements-esque. Samurai X looks different aswell. The torso looks like it has gun metal grey on it. This is the first time we would get all exclusive variations in a battle pack. Where can I buy one? EDIT: sorry Aanchir I was typing when you added yours Looking back on the picture i see the Tournament Zane. Also I almost 100% Samurai X is different. It look like a sliver on red and black with silver sholder armor. Edited May 12, 2016 by LegendsOfNinjago Quote
Exetrius Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Exclusive Samurai Nya, exclusive Tournament Zane, exclusive crew members..... HAVE THEY GONE INSANE!!!?? (quite a contrast with the pretty unsignificant Ghost wave 'army builder pack'!) Quote
CM4Sci Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Digging through some stuff to find the official set numbers and names for those packs... Think you can go back soon and find the number, NinjaJay? Quote
Orange Leader Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I'm digging the cave with the small vehicles. Are those transparent panels at the launch controls clear? If so, we're getting them back since 2002's Twin Pod Cloud Car. The current price at amazon.co.jp calculated in Euro's is about €165,00. I have no idea how Japanese LEGO prices work in comparison with American and European markets. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 Well its about $185ish USD. Tempting... Digging through some stuff to find the official set numbers and names for those packs... Think you can go back soon and find the number, NinjaJay? Or buy me one and I'll pay you for it. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I might want one as well. (But only Samurai X) Depending if the Samurai X is a new variant or not. I've gotten every Nya variant so far. Might as well keep going. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Best accessory pack! There's something exclusive about every character! I'm definitely getting it. Quote
DuckBricks Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 That accessory pack better come to the US..... I have a Ninjago Minifig display and my OCD with no Tournament Zane is killing me! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I think Japan has quite high prices on LEGO, certainly more than the cost in America. That cave looks very cool, but I can't help looking at it like it is a parts pack more than a set... The MOCcer that I am is cheering about all the cool parts. Quote

The MOCcer that I am is cheering about all the cool parts. I can kind of relate to that. I buy mostly sets that have a lot of cool parts I'd like to use in future MOC's. But sets of themes that are both good on their own and have cool parts? Those are the best kind of sets! Quote
