Can't view it, it says it's not public

Gah, the terms are that it has to have moderation before becoming publicly viewable. I guess it needs a bit of time

Edit - really sorry, I originally meant to type Gah, as in expressing annoyance. My autocorrect on my phone changed it to gay, which made my reply look more like an offhand offensive remark. I want to apologise if anyone was offended, it wasn't intentional

Awesome! But may I know where you found it?

Whole bunch of the Lego themes product pictures got leaked online. It's not on any country Lego site, so I don't know where it originally came from, but I stumbled upon it on Flickr.

Could you resize those images? They're over the image size limit here on EB. I've got pretty good bandwidth and they were taking a while to load and compress! There are plenty of links in the FAQ that can help.

Thanks

Why does it have to be at the end if the line? Why?!

Well, if he's saving the best for last, I'm not complaining

It's not the end of the theme. Don't worry.

And considering the guy who's been sharing all these store-exclusive pics just shared the Black Knight mech... tomorrow's gotta be the day we get pics of the Airjitzu Battle Grounds. Right? I can't think of any other store exclusives we haven't seen, but I suppose there could always be something in one of the themes I don't pay attention to...

In my opinion, this book maybe Canon and the story of this book is related to season seven, the story kinda fits the theories that people are making in the past few days!

What do you guys think?

I think he meant "why do we have to wait until all the other store exclusive sets have been revealed to see Airjitzu Battle Grounds?"

Very neat info! I don't particularly care if the book is canon, because I've enjoyed the other chapter books and graphic novels regardless of canon or non-canon status. Though hopefully it won't outright contradict the canon story.

I don't think they meant "end of the line" as end of ninjago, I think the meant it as "end of the line of pictures he has."

Also regarding the book series, it Sound canon, but I can't imagine the series being about season 7 unless it airs in the UK over the summer, other wise here in the US will get the series spoiled for us.

I'm fairly sure it's will to be a non-canon story to go in-between Skybound and Rise of the Villains in the same way that Shadow of Ronin was a non-canon transition from Tournament of Elements to Possession.

That said, we should stay on topic, as this thread is for sets and not the story.

Speaking of Airjitzu Battle Grounds, I was thinking of something interesting earlier... we still don't know what subtheme that set belongs to, correct? Most are thinking it will be based on Skybound or Rise of the Villains. Buuuuuut... could it be based on Wu Cru? I say this because there's a Wu Cru themed polybag starting to appear in stores and it would be silly to assume that this is the only thing we're getting based on the initiative. Would make for a cool retailer exclusive set not directly tied to the main Ninjago story.

That is an interesting theory! How your saying not connected to rise of the villains or skybound sadly isn't true. I'm sorry I don't have a link at the moment but brickset says that its part of the rise of the villains. And a set not connected to the theme will be truly amazing! Especially how amazing the temple of airjitzu was. No villains and just hero's! Overall though great theory, lets hope its true!

Haha, I was actually the one to put it as Rise of the Villains in the database out of pure assumption; should probably remove that designation. So the jury's still out!

Oh now this got interesting! Haha. So now I think your on to something, what happens if the battle grounds is actually a training facility for the Wu cru? You know like the one from the advertisements that Lego puts out

Most likely, the reason why we haven't seen Airjitzu Battle Grounds images is because we are the most vocal theme looking for their exclusives. I wouldn't be surprised if the leaks are deliberately being held back in order to hype us up.

Bad idea too. Odds are that the overhype will greatly increase our expectations, making the official reveal underwhelming. Never a good idea.
